Below is my current script.  However only one field need to be filled out for AVG.  So when first filling out the text box I want to require all the blow fields but if text is put in to AVG.1 the JANAVG1 is not required and vise versa. When I try to combine several documents which has electronic signature, the signature disappears. Do you know why?

I was always able to digitally sign with my CAC card (army) until I upgraded my Mac earlier this year and now keep getting errors.  Is there any work aroudns for this?

Oh lord.  i have windows 10 and I'm trying to print some tax returns out of TaxAct and all i get are black lines.  The instructions tell me to go to the registry, but i have no idea where the registry is.  How do i go any where within Adobe to fix my problem.Please - where is this Registry that I need to go to in order to solve my printing problems with Windows 10?

I am getting this when I try to print anything with a pre-populated field.  Help!  I have uninstalled and reinstalled.  It does work with I print as an image.

I have now three users here who can no longer use the "Attach to email" function in Acrobat Reader DC. I am working for the same company so I tested my Acrobat Reader DC and it works just fine, as it does on some 50 other computers. All our computers are set up the same way, Windows10 64 bit with MS Office 365 and outlook as the default email client. If I uninstall Acrobat DC and reinstall it, then and it works just fine and opens with the default email handler, Outlook, for about 1 day. Then the next day or even sometime during the day I have to go thru that process again. I have even seen it work once and on the second try, fail. The cursor just sits and spins and never opens Outlook. I have even taken it a step further and done a “Repair” on Outlook after removing/re-adding Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. Thank you.

My problem seems related to default setup. When opening a pdf document and pressing the printer icon, the Printer is set to "Microsoft Print to PDF" as default. I change to the actual printer. Then the "Pages to be printed" is (by default) set to "All", and no alternatives are accessible. When I then press the "Print"-button, I get the dialogue-window "Cannot print the document" and when deleting that, a new window telling "No pages are selected for printing". Note that alle messages here are translated from Norwegian by me, so they may be different from the English version. Where do I change the default settings and get the printing prosess work as it should?

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro and trying to insert an image. Under Tools>Content> there is no add image option, why?

I have used Acrobat 9 for a long while to convert Word documents to PDF files to send to clients.  The process I use is to open the Word doc and then print it to Acrobat and it has always worked well.  Yesterday, I modified a contract that I had previously used for another client (and previously printed as a PDF file without issue) and tried to print it to Acrobat.  I was not able to print it as a PDF and received a Notepad log file.  The log file mentions a font issue, but the font it mentions does not exist in the document.  In fact, I've highlighted the entire document and changed the font to Times New Roman just to be sure that I had not missed something.Also, Acrobat is still printing other files just fine.A bit of additional info - no updates are available, using a Windows 10 64-bit system.Any suggestions?  Thanks so much!

I'd like to be able to press a button and bring up usersave prompt with a suggested filename based on fields in the form.  I'm not sure how to do this in JavaScript.The pathname shouldn't be included as the user will probably have a favorite directory they usually save their files in.  Any idea how to do that?

is there any way using JavaScript to perform this function for a PDF/A document opened in read-only mode when preferences are set to PDF/A read only mode ? Thanks for any help you might provide;

Hello,I want to use an applescript to resize my acrobat document (JavaScript also will do). Note that, this is not crop. My current document size is 7.5 inch x 10 inch and I want to make it 8.5 inch x 11 inch. This function available in crop tool (Set Page Boxes/Change Page size/Custom) if I want to do manually. I am making a simple fillable acrobat pdf form. I would like a text block to automatically be filled with a number (specifically, "$8.00") if and only if a neighboring check box is checked. I surely would appreciate any help. By the way, the name of the checkbox is MailingCheckbox and the name of the text field is MailingFee. Below is a screenshot of the specific area of the form. I have a form that has some chemicals listed. I need the EPA # to automatically fill in when I make a choice from a drop down menu. That is working. Some of the numbers have a dash in them such as 111-1. The filled in field then puts in the number 110.I need it to stay as 111-1.

I am creating interactive forms which will mainly be used on Android powered tablets.In some of the posts I noticed people were having difficulties with their Javascripts created with Acrobat working on tablets.Some of the answers mentioned creating the PDF forms with something other than Acrobat so the javascript works properly on tablets.Can you suggest the best tool to use for a beginner like myself?  (Some of the calculations will be very complex.)Thank you 🙂

I am trying to convert an excel document to a pdf.  I have tried printing as pdf in Excel I would get "Missing PDFMaker files." and an option to run the installed in repair mode.  If I click yes, it times out after 10 minutes and did nothing (and the problem is not fixed).  If I choose "no" then it closes and I have to start over.I tried the convert to pdf option inside Excel, same issue.I have tried to convert to pdf by right clicking in file explorer, same issue.I opened Adobe Acrobat Standard DC and create a PDF from file, same issue.this is a new Windows 10 machine with Office 2016 and Adobe Acrobat Standard DC version 2015.006.30119

Hello. I'm working on a project that has rows of 3 text fields for which the values must be added and as a total for that row in a fourth field. This goes on for many lines. Something like this:[total.0] = [A.0] + [B.0] + [C.0][total.1] = [A.1] + [B.1] + [C.1][total.2] = [A.2] + [B.2] + [C.2] and so on.I wanted a script that calculated only the appropriate totals when one of the corresponding values was changed, instead of recalculating everything all the time.It was suggested to me that I should use a validation script, so that it would only run when a value was committed to that text field.
