How to compare PDF documents in command line which acrobat is supported

I have opened a PDF form and although I have filled it in, the text boxes are now blocked out with a blue block.  Only when I click on each block can I see the text below, but the others are still blocked out.I also cannot open Mac Preview created PDF's.My view of Adobe has plummeted...the website help is useless.

Hello, I recently upgraded from Acrobat Pro 9 to XI (Mac versions), and have been experiencing installation failures.When I first installed Acrobat Pro version 9, I was running an earlier version of Mac OS X (I think it was Snow Leopard), but since then have upgraded my OS periodically and now am running El Capitan 10.11.5. Recently I purchased a license for Acrobat Pro XI and have been experiencing errors. Prior to attempting installation, I uninstalled version 9 from my machine using the Adobe Uninstaller.After the first failure, I found I was able to launch Acrobat Pro, but not all functionality worked.I ran the Adobe Unistaller, rebooted, tried the installation again, got the same failure message, and again found I could launch Acrobat Pro but not all functionality was availableAgain I ran Adobe Unistaller, rebooted, this time into the Recovery Partition where I ran Disk Utility and performed First Aid on Macintosh HD as well as on the physical drive. I am trying to compare two adobe acrobat pdf of different version.Compare facility is provided but it's not working.It s telling pdf is too complex to be compared.

I'm having trouble using adobe acrobat dc. I tried to compare two pdf files with lots of graphics (which are made by AI) and text but it doesn't work. The comparison result is not easy to read as the graphics show unstably and keep flashing. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

In Acrobat 9 you can select part of a PDF, right-click and in the resulting menu select "open as a table". I have a user machine with Acrobat DC installed and this option is not available. Am I missing something or is it somewhere else now?

Just this year we started getting pdf files sent to us, usually a couple out of several hundred, that will print with blanks where characters should be, sometimes in a block like area, sometimes not, just throughout the entire doc, or alternately, sometimes the fonts print as garbage non-sense characters.  If I open the doc in Firefox, the document displays and prints fine but we can't do that for the few that appear out of hundreds since it takes time to find them and figure out which original file is the issue.I seem to have traced it down to a font issue.  The fonts, for whatever reason, are not something being read correctly by Adobe.  If I substitute another font things appear.  I can even find words even though they appear as white on white.  Checking the color of the fonts that don't print, they are supposed to be black.  It was almost like there was a color mismatch like you used to see in transparent .gif files when the viewer thought one color wa

I have a PDF that I need to edit. I open Acrobat Pro DC and enter edit mode and make a few text changes. I then resave as a new file name but the quality is horrible. Can anyone suggest a way to keep this from happeneing?BEFORE THE EDITAFTER THE EDIT

Hi,My laptop recently was stolen and so I bought another one. I'm trying to reinstall the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard I purchased in 2011. Photoshop, InDesign, Bridge and Illustrator were all installed correctly, but every time I try to open a PDF document, a window opens asking for my serial number. When I enter my serial number, it says it's not valid. It's the same one I used for the rest of Suite.Please help me!Thank you!

I am trying to add the 'Convert to PDF' feature to Chrome.  I found an extension in the Chrome store, but it only works with Acrobat Pro XI.  Is there an older extension available that works with Acrobat Pro X?

Hello,I have an order form with a field for tax. Under Simplified field notation: I entered AdjustedSubTotal*.08.When I fill in the form everything works except this field. A number will be displayed, but not the correct calculation. If I go into the properties of the field, get to the Calculate tab, click Edit on the Simplified field notation: portion and simply click "OK" without changing anything, the field calculates the amount correctly.Any idea why that would be?

After the Office 365 update of 10/23/16, the File, Save as Adobe PDF option is missing from ALL of my Office 365 applications.  I have removed and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and that fixed nothing.I'd appreciate knowing how to get that option back onto my File menu.GAF
