I've been using Adobe Products for awhile, but have only recently been trying to make fillable forms in PDF format. Unfortunately, FormsCentral does not appear to be supported anymore, but, when I Google for alternatives, I am directed to sites like FormStack and JotForm, which allow web-based forms for a subscription fee (or up to 100 free in the case of JotForm). This is not the functionality I'm looking for.I would like to be able to make and design forms that can then be shared in PDF format, as a fillable PDF that can be saved by the end-user and sent back. What are my options?
We work with a number of PDF forms that need to be combined into a single document when our workflow is complete. Because the same form may be duplicated several times in the final packet, we need to flatten it down to eliminate the live fields and reduce file size. Is it possible to flatten form fields during the combine process? --Andy
I have went to com add-in, browsed to the directory and select the PDFMOfficeAddin.dll file. Nothing happens and it doesn't get added to the list. I was using Adobe XI, so i thought I would try to upgrade and purchased Adobe DC. I un-installed XI before installing DC. Still won't load the PDFMOfficeAddin.dll file. I was exporting Outlook folders to PDF files and then this option disappeared? I am running Office 365 ProPlus version 16.0.6741.2071.
I just created a form from a document using acrobat X pro. All is fine EXCEPT it does not seem possible for the user to paste text into the one text field. I do have Rich Text selected.Form is at sfwomenartists.org/membershipApp2016writable.pdfCan anyone help?Later: I have added a workaround to the form asking people to download it to their computer, fill it out, save it and return as an email attachment. It seems that the stated problem above is only with Chrome. With Firefox, one can't fill it in online AT ALL via the browser and Safari doesn't let the user scroll to the next page. This is how it is on my macbook anyway.I still would like anyone's wisdom on this/these issues, but for the time being, I'm going with the workaround.
I've been using Adobe Send for 5 years to send 20-40 large .jpg images to my clients that average around 60mb in size by compressing them in "ZIP" folders. Lately, after getting error messages I was told by an Adobe troubleshooting tech that I can't do that and must send them as one .pdf doc or individually as .jpg. Sending individual images is way too cumbersome for my clients. Can they easily convert a .pdf to .jpg without loosing any quality and do it conveniently, or is there a better way to send them in one folder?

I've never had a problem opening pdfs before-and half my documents are pdfs, but as of today I'm prompted that a sign in for my "trial" for CS6 Design and Web Premium is required. My only option is to sign in or cancel my attempt to open my documents. Huh? I've never had a trial. I actually purchased some version of CS6 several years, ago but never use it. My daughter uses photoshop occasionally, that's it. How can I get my computer to actually let me use my adobe product now???

I was trying to print a PDF document from Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (Version 2015.008.20082) off a black-and-white laser printer (HP LaserJet Pro 400 M401dn) with two pages per sheet and on both sides of the paper. However, the images in the PDF were printed off as solid black boxes. If I just print one page per sheet and on both sides of the paper, the images were printed off correctly.I have been searching the solutions online and experimenting with various settings:By default, "Print in grayscale (black and white)" was not selected in the Print dialogue. Also by default, "Simulate Overprinting" in the "Output" group in the Advanced Print Setup was not selected, and the preview of the page on the left was shown with the images as solid black boxes. When I enabled this option, the preview looked correct, but it did not change the print-off.I also tried different color management settings, but no matter I selected "Acrobat Color Management", "Same As Source (No Color Management)" or "Printer

Hello, everytime i want to create a pdf from a scanner i get a legal page. But i need letter. Of course i can show up the scanners native interface. But it is always behind the windows. The only chance to get it in the front is the taskmanager. I have to do it every time. I checked all settings on the printer, pdf printer, driver... Everything is configured with standard paper size letter. Is there something like a registry configuration to fix this issue?I use Adobe Acrobat Pro XI and Windows 7, 64 bitThank you very much!
I got an Adobe Acrobat Pro XI update last week. I just noticed my Rotate Page Button on my Quick Tool Bar is gone. I found it on the Common Tool Panel but I can't drag it to the Quick Tool Bar. How do I get it there?
Hi,I've been lloking for days but still don't have the answer... so I ask.I have an excel macro which generate 15 different PDF files. I want to merge them in one collection (portfolio) at the end o the macro. The only code which I found is the following:Sub createPortfolio2()Dim AcroApp As Acrobat.CAcroAppDim Doc As Acrobat.CAcroPDDocDim jso As ObjectSet AcroApp = CreateObject("AcroExch.App")Set Doc = CreateObject("AcroExch.PDDoc")Doc.CreateSet jso = Doc.GetJSObject'below is the actual code which creates the portfolio ("collection" in adobe parlance)Set Collection = jso.app.newcollection()'to add documents to your new portfolio, use the importdataobject method, I'm 90% sure the file path has to be formatted with the adobe / marksIf Collection.importdataobject(cName:="001.pdf", cDIpath:="//IFC1.IFR.INTRA2.ADMIN.CH/Shares/Organisation/LBA-ALCG-RE/11_Monitoring-controlling/00_SCA Controlling/Impression/001.pdf") = True ThenMsgBox "You should see your portfolio now!"End IfCollection.savea
I cannot find the Flatten tool for flattening a text box. Was there in previous version. Flatten transparency does not work.
We are getting the dreaded Error 16 on the installation of Acrobat Standard DC on a new Windows 10 x64 Pro computer (build 1607). I tried the solutions discussed in this forum but nothing is solving our problem. We rely heavily on Acrobat Standard for our work processes and this is stopping production! We uninstall and reinstalled and it worked for a day then the problem came back again. Acrobat Standard opens, shows the error 16, then shuts down.
I changed my computer [Mac running OX X.10] and own two licenses [why I don't recall] for Adobe Acrobat Pro 9. I downloaded AAP9 and did the usual installation = it might not have been a full install so I ran the uninstaller and cleaned off AAP9 from the computer. I re-installed it from the dmg file which downloaded [APR09_Mac_WEB_WWEFG.dmg]. It has now finished installing and all that is showing up is the word Acrobat in the upper left corner =- nothing drops down, no File etc. menus.I don't know what is going on = it should be able to be running. Any ideas???
having trouble downloading Acrobat 10 Pro on Windows 10 PC
My Adobe Acrobat was not transferred when my old computer gave out. I located the serial number, but online help said it is for Adobe Acrobat 6 and I needed to go here for help. Is there anything I can do? The old 6 is fine with me.
I have changed PCs and forgot to save the last Acrobat serial number. We can only find the Acrobat X std update key. Anyone who can help?
I find it very difficult to use the page view in Organize Page as it displays multiple pages on the screen. IIt seems there is no way to change it back to a single page view. For my use, I need to be able to see the content on the pages when inserting/deleting pages. I find it extremely tedious to continually flip back and forth when I have a 500+ page document. Is there any way to change the page view to a single page with the Organize Pages tool bar appearing at the top?
