I have Windows 10. I need to use the "voiceover" function in order to make PDFs accessible. Which version of Adobe Acrobat Pro is compatible with Windows 10 and has the "voiceover" function?
I know that this may not be the best place to get support for this product, however, Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard cannot see an internet connection or their activation server. I went online to see if phone activation is available and the numbers that were provided (206-675-6222 and 866-772-3623) are no longer in use. The version of windows is Windows 10 64-bit. The software was successfully installed and activated, however, an update for Windows kicked the activation of Adobe Acrobat off and put it into a trial mode. I only have 1 more day before the software becomes locked. Phone support would be nice Adobe! When this customer is forced to upgrade it makes me mad! Unexpected expenses, time for installation, time to learn a new product, and invariably you change numbers on me which doesn't help things.
During package install (Adobe Creative Cloud) process stops and then reverts. Install appears to be failing during the version check. Have attempted both package and separate install; neither compatibility test not Adobe CC Cleaner tool are able to correct the problem. Compatibility mode installs all apps except for Adobe DC.

i need to be able to place a single pdf file into multiple folders at the same time. Is this possible
I would like to link directly to a bookmark within a PDF. Is this possible and if so how do I get the address of the bookmark?
I had a previous case # 188054149 open about the application running very slow and thought we came to a resolution but the provided fix did not work on a particular PC. This is the fix I was provided with:Open Acrobat Go to Edit > Preferences > Accessibilityo Uncheck the options:o Use documentsstructure for tab order when no explicit tab order is specifiedo Enable assistivetechnology supportGo to Edit > Preferences > Readingo Select: ‘Only read the currently visible pages’ for Pages vs Document dropdownGo to Edit > Preferences > Searcho Increase MaximumCache size to 1000MBo Click on Purge CacheContentsI double, triple checked the settings and issue persists. Please advise.
I am trying to create PDF/A-1a compliant PDFs from .docx files using the PDFMaker in Word 2010. I'm not the creator of the files, they're sent to me by authors for layout editing and conversion into HTML and PDF. I'm applying Word styles to the document for a number of reasons, one of which is that it allows me to customize the labels of the PDF accessibility tags. Here is the problem I'm having: When a paragraph spans a page break in Word, the style that I apply to the paragraph only applies to the section of the paragraph before the page break. The remainder of the paragraph on the new page is assigned the Normal paragraph style. This, in turn, throws off the tags for the rest of the document, moving the all tag labels down one element.Does anyone know how to keep this from happening? Or how to fix it apart from going through and manually changing all the tag labels so they correspond to the elements I'd like them to?TIA!

Greetings! and thanks for any input.I have a text field being validated based on two other fields and a checkbox - if the box is checked, the input is compared to the first field; if it is unchecked, the input is compared to the other field instead. I've coded this and it's working perfectly. What I'd like to do is have the field re-validated when the checkbox is clicked, so that the effect of the checkbox on the validation is immediate rather than the field itself having to be changed again. Is there a way to do this?Hope my explanation is clear enough. Thanks again!
does anyone know if this can be done?
How to I cancel the earlier subscribed order # ADD002162018, of Sep. 26.2016?
Hi, We are using the Send for Shared Commenting feature in Acrobat Pro DC with Microsoft SharePoint Server. A co-worker of mine likes to name her server profiles using the guide name. She has uploaded at least 10 guides using the Send for Shared Commenting feature, each with a different server profile name. When she goes back into Acrobat, some of her server profiles are missing. The server profiles that are missing varies. One time she'll get 5 maybe, then another time she'll only get 2 of them to show up. Not only do the numbers change, but which ones show up changes as well.Is there a maximum number of server profiles allowed?Anybody have any idea what might be going on?Thanks,Linda
I work with AutoCAD Mechanical 2016 and create PDFs for easy distribution.AutoCAD already has a print progress window that pops up when plotting to PDF.When the print progress window pops up for Acrobat, I can click on the "HIDE" button, but this is not a permanent change. If I print another drawing, the window will pop up again. How do I shutoff Acrobat's print progress window permanently ?
I have a large project that involves updates from hundreds of people, each submitting changes in a separate PDF. Can I keep the Comments panel open by default? Having to open it again for every PDF is extremely cumbersome, especially as it takes 15 to 30 seconds to open each time.Acrobat Pro DC latest releaseiMac 27 inch late 2009OS X El Capitan 10.11.6
We regularly export large presentations from PDFs into image sequences for further processing. The slides are composed of text, photos and graphics. Acrobat DC can export pages into separate images, but does not give option to antialias them. This results in jagged typography at any screen-friendly resolution. Exporting the slides in higher resolution than neccessary and then shrinking them with Photoshop adds unneccessary steps and disk space requirements to workflow. So why not offer antialiasing option for export straight from Acrobat Pro?
Our old computer crashed and it still holds the old activation. We need to get this resolved. Please contact me so I can get the activations reset. This if for Adobe Acrobat X pro.
I am using Acrobat Pro DC on a Mac and I do not know anything about scripting. I would like to create a custom dynamic stamp that includes time and date. I found Thom Parker's "The Acrobat JavaScript Console (Your best friend for developing Acrobat JavaScript)". Following his instructions, I enter app.getPath("app", "stamps") in the console I get /MacintoshHD/Applications/Adobe Acrobat DC/Adobe Acrobat.app/Contents/Plugins/Comments.acroplugin/Contents/Resources/Stamps/. His instructions then say I should access the directory. My problem is that I do not know how to access the directory - any assistance will be appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
The pdf files I receive in emails previously, I could open. Now it says I have to save them and then I can open the downloads. How do I change this back?
Is there a way to have the 'sign' box pop up instead of the digital signature menu?
Hi all,I am writing a C++ signature library which works fine so far, what means that Adobe Reader 2015.017.20053 shows the signature toolbar, including the green sign and "Signed and all signatures are valid".Now, I add a comment line to the document before signing it with my library. The signing algorithm and calculation of input data for the signature calculation stays as-is (so the comment is included in that data). The comment breaks the signature verification, because now Adobe reader says "At least one signature is invalid", and in the signature panel it says "There are errors in the formatting or information contained in this signature (The signature byte range is invalid)".Is there a special rule how to handle comments in signature calculation?Or does Adobe reader verify those documents differently? Is there maybe a bug?
Our school uses a paper discipline form and my principal has asked me to created a PDF version that can be filled out and emailed to him instead of us filling it out by hand. I've set up the submit button exactly as all the tutorials say. When I go to test it out (mailto function is correct in the form), instead of an email client selection, I get a "Send PDF Data As" box. At that point, it wants to save the form and the email never sends out. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Thanks so much.
From time of puchase how long do i need to wait to activate, have tried to activate my dc pro after purchase but did not accept the serial number.
In Adobe Acrobat XI you could add a button to custom scan right at the top of the window for Adobe Acrobat XI. Now in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC I have to go to Tools > Create > Scan > Custom Scan. I can add the custom scan icon to the Create page quick access (which is inexplicably not visible from the "Home" tab), but this only saves one step and the process remains cumbersome. Is there a way to provide quick access to quick access? If anyone knows how to get the quickscan image from my second attached image into the quick access bar on my first attached image please let me know.
