Hi.. I have been using my version of Adobe Acrobat Pro for a long time.  I recently updated my Mac to the newest OS and now I keep getting this message saying OUT OF MEMORY and I can't see the pages in my PDF.. Does anyone know how I can fix this????Please help.. it is driving me crazy!ThanksAnna

Can I do a mail merge in acrobat using collected responses from fillable forms?

Acrobat X 10.1.16I want to make the page Thumbnails in the left Navigation Pane to show as default.I open them and then do the File->Exit but when I come back they are not showing.Also I want the Fit to Window to be default too. Same problem as above.Help appreciated.Hugh

HiI have used a single check box to show hide a fieldthe field that's hidden/shown is a multiple choice fieldthe single check box is working to show/hide but its only hiding the tick box of each multiple choice but not the text alongside the tick box - im not sure how else to hide it?thanksL

Hi,It used to be you could have the same named Text Field on pages, so users can carry through content. I cannot get this to work now. What's changed? anybody else having the issue? how can overcome this?Take the attached very basic PDF as test (I can't believe we can't attach files - here's a WeTransfer link - WeTransfer Two pages. Page one with the text field name of name: TF1, page two with the text field name of name: TF1. In the past this has worked fine, however now it will not allow it, and automatically is creating different field names upon opening the file in Acrobat Pro. Yet, it also will not allow me to rename the Text fields through Acrobat Pro, i get the following error.Any ideas??Thanks,Phil

I recently upgraded my computer and am trying to re-install Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. I have the serial number but no disk as it's been lost. I found a download online (not from Adobe). When I enter the serial number that I have registered with Adobe, it says it's invalid. Is there anyway to get this older version of Acrobat directly from Adobe? Any thoughts on my issue? I've tried reinstalling and doing the trial version, which works, but only lasts a few days and would like it permanently.

Just bought and attempted to download Adobe Acrobat Standard DC - installer says it's at 100%, but it's not moving from there. I'm running Windows 7 and use Google Chrome. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.

In an earlier version of Acrobat Pro, I was able to open a document, display one page at a time in the main window with page thumbnails on the left, select one or more pages, and then click "extract."  Upon doing that, the selected page(s) immediately opened in a new window.But in Acrobat Pro DC, when I choose extract, there is an extra step: I am always brought then to the "organize page" window. This is slowing me down on a current project, which involves extracting many pages from a document.Is there a way in Acrobat Pro DC to extract, as in the prior version of Acrobat Pro, without always bringing up the "organize page" window?

I need to be able to attach a pdf document on my existing pdf document but I need it to be embedded in the document in one of the page as an icon so that when we click on that pdf icon, it opens the file. Just how we can do it with a Word document where we can embed a file as an object within a word document as an icon and when we click on it, it will open the file. I know we can attach a pdf file to the document but I want to be able to embed the file in one of the page as a pdf icon.Is this possible on Adone Acrobat Pro? I am using Adobe AAcrobat Pro 2015 Release version 2015.017.20053

Using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, when splitting by top level bookmarks, all resulting files are the exactly the same instead of different documents for each bookmark. No \ / : * ? " < > | were used in bookmark names.  From 9 bookmarks it created 9 new documents and the file names have the names of the various bookmarks, but the image of each of the 9 files is identical to only one of the bookmarks.

I have text boxes in an editable PDF, but when I type in any of the text fields, the copy shows up in all text boxes.  I'm on deadline, Help!

I'm using Acrobat Pro XIIn previous versions I remember being able to mark a section of the document and erase it by simply pressing delete.  This allowed me to take a scanned form that was filled out and delete the filled in portions in the various boxes.  Either I am completely unable to locate that function or it is not available for some reason.  Am I missing something?  Any help would be appreciated.

We are using bookmarks as a way to identify pages that need to be deleted for confidentiality reasons. Sometimes there are 50 or more bookmarks. Is there an easy way to delete all the pages at once?Or is there a way to see what pages are bookmarked when you are in Thumbnails?

Hello, is it possible in Acrobat DC to make an option for a readable page to hower ower an image with your cursor, cilick the image and open a wiev with an enlarged image? Just like in a web page!Thank you

We have a LOT of scanned PDF's at work (about 8,400) that we are needing to export into Excel. There are a few tricky parts to this as I'm trying to find if there's a way to automate all of this. These are all individual PDF's, but I know I could convert them all to a multipage PDF if I need to, that shouldn't be an issue. The major issue being we only want a small portion of all of the PDF's, the top left corner that has some basic information (name and address), to be exported to an Excel spreadsheet. The rest of the PDF we do not need. The are all single page PDF's if that helps anything on the automation formatting. Does anyone know if that can be done?I asked this in the PDF forum but someone suggested to ask it in the java script forum instead.

I'd like to make a form something like this tutorial (https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/change_another_field) where a dropdown populates text fields. Its for an address book of sorts. Name of client in the dropdown, first line of text form would be address, the second, city, state and zip. Is it possible to have this information imported from a text file, xml file or something a little easier to work with outside of acrobat? The best of all worlds would be for it to pull from an excel document.

I have a box label form and it all works great but we would like to be able to automatically generate sequential box labels.  So on the form we would have a [Total Boxes] form field.  If the user put in "5" then on the labels we would generate a different label for each box e.g. 1 of 5, 2 of 5, 3 of 5, 4 of 5, 5 of 5.  I would be happy with this happening at the time they are printed, or generating a new PDF with all the pages.  Either way this needs to be a very simple process for the end user of the forms. Any ideas?

My use of Acrobat Pro goes back to Acrobat 7 Standard MacIntosh.  I upgraded until I reached Pro X.  I want to reinstall Pro X but don't have the 7 Standard Serial Number.  I can not afford yet another monthly subscription fee.  What now?
