I am working on a 4K resolution laptop with a FHD screen as a secondary display.  As has been noted in previous posts dating back well over 6 months, such as "window size explodes when moved to second monitor", Acrobat DC ignores the windows scaling for the second screen and uses the scaling for the primary monitor.  To get the menus large enough to read and use on the 4K screen, they then take up way too much space on the FHD screen.Most free software manages to work with this windows feature of different scaling on different screens.  In fact I do not use any other software that cannot cope with different scaling between monitors.  Given the cost of Acrobat Standard DC I am struggling to believe that this was an issue in a released version and worse still has not been fixed nine months after the problem has been reported.  It is not just an issue on Surface, but on any system having two different displays of different resolutions and corresponding different s

We have a LOT of scanned PDF's at work (about 8,400) that we are needing to export into Excel. There are a few tricky parts to this as I'm trying to find if there's a way to automate all of this. These are all individual PDF's, but I know I could convert them all to a multipage PDF if I need to, that shouldn't be an issue. The major issue being we only want a small portion of all of the PDF's, the top left corner that has some basic information (name and address), to be exported to an Excel spreadsheet. The rest of the PDF we do not need. The are all single page PDF's if that helps anything on the automation formatting. Does anyone know if that can be done?

Hi,If we want to combine two or more PDF's which are on a network drive it always fails. If we copy these same PDF's to a local drive we can combine. We have tried shortening the name and path to the files and problem persists, something along the lines of "An unknown error was encountered". Copying files to local drives to combine and then copy back to shared network drive is a very cumbersome procedure. Network drive is a on a Dell PowerEdge T410 with RAID-5 Array running MS-Server 2008R2. I see many people have a similar problem. Is there a specific fix? Network rights? Server configuration? Any guidance would be appreciated.s

I am using Acrobat 10.1.16 in Windows 7 environment.Does this version of Acrobat support profiles in which I can save a background (a pdf file) to be inserted when I print to a pdf?Or can I specify a background at print time?Thank you.Mona

In Acrobat 10 and 11, when I received a completed form, I just double click on the attachment and I'm asked to "Add to an Existing Response file". After I clicked the OK button it opens the response file and display all the responses in a spreadsheet format. However, now in Acrobat DC, it opens as a full pdf file where I click on each pdfs in the left navigation panel to see the responses (btw, the "Add files" and "Create Folder" buttons are ghosted). It seems that to see the responses in a spreadsheet format, I have to:download/save each completed form, thenOpen the original formClick Prepare form (in the right panel)Click More (in the the right panel)Click Merge data files into SpreadsheetClick Add files (to manually add every saved completed form)Click ExportSelect CSV as the formatand then click SaveNow, this seemed like a very long and complicated method as oppose to the Acrobat 10/11 method. Is this the only way or am I doing it wrong??

I'm trying to activate an OLD version of Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional but it won't do it over the internet and I can't find a contact number to do it over the phone.  I think it might just be too out-of-date...  Is there any way to continue using it without activating it???

Recently in my office, all 3 of our computers with Adobe Acrobat X standard developed difficulties in printing PDF's to a HP P4015 PCL 6 printer.  All other programs print fine.  Any suggestions?

Lately my default printing settings have disappeared and I've tried every combination of print settings and it won;t print a simple a4 pdf, it stretches it across 2 pages cutting of certain aspects and I also can't print to my label printer after trying every possible combination.

In Headers and Footers, I have <<Page 1 of n>> chosen. My form is one page long, but I have a button that can create a second page if the user needs to. However, if a user decides to create a second page, the footer doesn't change from "1 of 1" to "1 of 2" on the first page and then "2 of 2" on the second page. Instead, both just say "1 of 1." How can I change this so that when users add new page, it changes the numbering?Thank you!

Adobe Reader XI sign and fill grayed out (Sign and Send PDFs)^This sounds exactly like the problem I am having.  However, a colleague of mine completed and the same exact form and I'm using his answers as a guide.  So I believe that I am completing all the necessary fields in order to enable the signature field.  However, when I click on the signature field it just flashes the blue highlighted color and does nothing.  I have a currently valid certificate load from my CAC card.  I know this because I signed another document yesterday.  Please help.  Technology shouldn't be this hard.

We have a custom stamp that has two fields that need to be filled in each time you use it. One is By: We type in the name of the person submitting documents.Second is DATE. We have been typing todays date in each time. Is there a way that we can get it to auto populate? See sample below.

I have created a pdf using Microsoft word with the intention of having it filled by a another party. I imported it into adobe acrobat pro, and then sent for a signature to myself as a test, however some fields are not allowed to be completed only some and i cannot find a correlation in why only some i can fill in and others are not allowed. The ones i could fill out are blue and the others remained white..... How to i make the entire document fillable?P.S. have now spent 27 hours learning this program(adobe and Word) and trying to create documents. A few more hours and im checking myself into a mental hospital for insanity. Yes, I know I am dramatic.

I am sending out invitations to 100's of people.I have created a Form for the RSVP.I would like the reader to be able to easily open, with any reader, and fill out and return, with tracking.I have saved my form to many of the different configurations and none of them seem to doing those things.Also, I have others working with me to send these invitations out so I have put the form on Google Drive, along with the distributed and responses files.How can I get this to work. Time is of the essence at this point. Can anyone figure this out?

I am currently using Acrobat 8 Professional and I need to revise a PDF that was created with an older version of Adobe.  There are text boxes in that PDF file that I need to revise.  Normally if I need to edit a text box it just opens and I can change the text without issue.  For some reason now when I double click on the text box it wants me to use typewriter.  That would be fine except if I edit the text using the typewriter window that appears visually nothing happens.  If I hover over the text it shows the revised text in a call out but the actual visible text does not change.  If I double click on the text box and change the text within the box it creates a dark outline around the text that I cannot get rid of.So that sucks, but hey I can just delete the text box and create a new one.  Nope, can't do that either.  I delete the text and it comes right back.  My text edit tools are all greyed out so there is nothing I can do there. 

I recently updated all of our Acrobat Pro and Reader installation firmwide from v11.0.15 to v11.0.16.  As soon as the updates hit our servers we got a blizzard of alerts regarding the Adobe Genuine Software Integrity Service being added.As far as I can tell this is new to v11.0.16 in our environment (that is, it wasn't there with v11.0.15).  Release notes for 11.0.16 don't mention the new service and searching around doesn't show much documentation for the service including when it was released by Adobe (I understand it was piloted for some users of Acrobat X a while back but not everyone).Has Adobe documented when this service was included with various products/updates and how it was deployed?  Did Adobe include notification of this in any of their release notes?Finally, given that all of our products are centrally administered and properly licensed is there any reason not to delete the AGSI service?Thanks.

Hi,I'm using Adobe Acrobat Standard Version 11.0.17 on a Laptop 8GB Ram Windows 7 64bit with  4 CPU threads (Interl Core i5).I'm working on a PDF of ~2.7MB.When using the function Content Editing => Add Text.The adobe screen is very slow and Acrobat window blinks at each typed Key.I opened Windows Task Manager and noticed that the process Acrobat.exe *32 was consuming a whole CPU Thread (27%)It's very difficult to add text on such PDF. And The CPU and RAM seems not to be overloaded... So it sounds the problem is in the Acrobat.exe*32 which is consuming too much CPU or refreshing the screen each time I type on a key...I tried to deactivate many parameters in the Preferences but the problem is not disappearing....Do you have any suggestion ?Thanks a lot,Frédéric Boisdron.

I'd like to utilize the data within comments for reporting - preferably using MS Access 2013. I know I can change the file extension of the xfdf format and get to the data, but it doesn't appear to have all the attributes I'd like.1. Does anyone know of a way I can get to the data?2. How can I get to reviewer, pageno, etc?Thanks

Sign In Failed message received - trying to open documents using adobe X1 - keep getting this "unable to sign in on this computer message"  indicating a previous user's email address -  pc does not have creative cloud installed on it. Any assistance would be helpful on how to get rid of this message. Thank yoU!
