Acrobat SDK

Hey, I recently installed CS6, and all was working fine. So I thought...But today I tried double clicking a pdf I received on an email and it looked like it was going to open fine like normal but it didn't.  I restarted my machine thinking it needed a restart.  Still didn't work.  Tried other pdfs still nothing. I have always had Adobe Acrobat Pro X on my laptop and never had a problem.Does anyone know how to fix this?I have seen this question previously answered in regards to a window laptop but not a mac.Please help ASAP, it is very annoying!Thanks

I am trying to print a large document with a mix of A4 & A3 pages. I need to print the A4 as double sided and the A3 as Double Sided but Flipped on Short Edge. I haven't found any info on how to do this so far. I can print all of the document double sided which means the A3 sheets on the double side is upside down of all of the document printed. On flip on short edge but the A4's don't print correctly. Is there anyway to mix printing styles in a document?I am also wanting to print A4 double sided and A3 single sided but I still have to go through the entire document and do it manuallyThanks

Hi,I'm trying to print 6 flyers on an A3. I have 2 pages: one with the fronts and one with the backs. I set it to flip on the short side, everything alright until it prints. The front is normal but the back is zoomed in and cropped and I can't find why it's doing that.

Every now and then we use our ADF to digitize handbooks printed as booklet. The headache we have is to sort out the pages and change them back to a normal sequence so that a reader can read a digitized version of the handbook. I crop scanned A4 size in two halves: right and left and then I manually sort out pages in Acrobat. This task takes hours since I cannot make out page numbers I'm working with despite the fact that I've got 27" monitor with high resolution.Printing a document as booklet is a ridiculously easy peasy piece of work though converting automatically digitized copy to a normal sequence seems to be impossible!The only solution I've found is to cut a physical book in halves and then scan it in a normal sequence. To my mind it'd be faster and cheaper to re-print it than spending my precious time at night on sorting out pages in Acrobat.

I have error code 213:19.The message says contact Customer Support.  How do I fix this? I own Acrobat X standard

I annotate PDF floor plans which were created using CAD software.  Using the Acrobat edit tools I can make lots of very useful changes to those individual CAD objects.  However, there does not seem to be any way to change the color of those objects.I have been able to change some colored lines to appear black, by converting those objects from RGB to Black and White using not the standard Edit tools, but the ones found in pre-flight or something like that.  I'm sure  that is not really the intended use of that function, but it is the only way I've found that works at all.At the last company I worked for they decided to save money by forcing all us employees to use PDF X-Change instead of the Acrobat Professional that so many of us were accustomed to using.  I resented the change, but having no control over the situation I did my best to adapt.  There were some features that Adobe offers that were not able to be performed using PDF X-Change and remarkably th

I'm running Windows 10.  When I click on check for updates now, a, Adobe Update Manager window opens that asks me for permission for the program to continue.  After I give it permission, nothing happens.  Help!  

I have a cloud license, keep trying to install Acrobat DC which doesn't open at launch. I uninstall and reinstall, I sign out and sign back into cloud account, nothing is working to get the app open

Previously, I could create and use Actions in Acrobat XI without problem.Now I create or import actions -- but they DO NOT SHOW UP ON THE ACTION PANEL UNDER TOOLS.They DO show up in the List if I click on "Manage Actions", but that does not help give me access so that I can actually RUN the newly created or imported Action.Telling "Manage Actions" to "import" these Actions accomplishes nothing.Also closing and reopening Acrobat, Rebooting, etc., changes nothing.  Same non-result if I go to folder where *.sequ files are stored, double-click, then confirm "import". What am I missing?

I have a multi-page form containing both text fields and radio buttons.  The fixed text in the multiple pages is different on each page, but the data entered on the first page in the text and radio button fields should copy to identical text fields and radio buttons on all pages.  The text fields are no problem but how do I make the radio button entries on the 2nd and subsequent pages copy the entries on the first page?

Hi, I’m not sure if this is a JavaScript question, but I need to add (paste) images to several pages of multiple PDF documents.  The images are actually a series of cells ‘copied’ from an excel spreadsheet.  Each set of excel cells is exactly the same size, but each page has a different set of cells.  Then, once the section of the spreadsheet is pasted to the PDF as an image, I need to resize it to fit the section of page and crop the edge of the image slightly.  Again, each ‘image’ while different, is exactly the same size, so the resizing and the cropping is the same for each.  I need to do this with over 500 images on 500 pages across several PDF documents so if there was a way to automate this, like a ‘macro’ it would save me heaps of time.  Thanks, RH

Hi, When using for example the Area (though also applicable to perimeter) tool to measure the area of say a square, as you go round and click on each corner, you are given the distance of the individual line you just measured. However,  once you make the final click to finalize the area measurement, I cannot see anyway to then retrieve the data showing the distances of each individual line. If you click on the square, you can see the "nodes" at each corner. but that is all. Does anyone know how to retrieve this data?On a second matter, does anyone know if you can overlay one PDF onto another? What I would like to do is overlay a "ghost" image of a building plan onto another building plan (eg level 2 overlaid onto level 1).Thanks in advance,Neil 

I'm having an issue with Acrobat Acrobat Pro. I've been using the Digital ID to sign documents in pdf for quite a while now. A few days ago I was trying to sign a document and I received the following message:"The Windows Cryptographic Service Provider reported an error: Key not valid for use in specified state. Error Code: 2148073483"I tried to create a different Digital ID but this one shows "Issued by" myself, whereas the original one was issued by my company. How do I get the original Digital ID certified by my company to work again? Do I have to delete it and create a new one? If so, how can I do it?Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,I was wondering whether section and column breakers could be deleted before a pdf document was exported to word and converted to editable text. The problem is both the tedium of deleting every breaker and, when they are deleted, this causes the format of the word document to become all messed up. So, I'm wondering they can be removed antecedently.I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 on a Mac, by the way.Thanks,Joe

My goal is to access embedded media via the interface that you can view at the Dropbox link below: just click an icon and the media opens. It works with both video and audio, but the audio (which uses a button) presents an issue that worries me: Why are buttons that play a sound limited to WAV files instead of, e.g., MP3, and what are the chances that attaching WAV files to a button is a security hole that Adobe will discover and remove later, thus wrecking my project if I depend on it? After all, if WAV files embedded via the Multimedia Sound Tool trigger the ‘Do you trust this?’ message in Acrobat Reader, why would they be allowed on a button? I'm using Windows 10 and am still using Acrobat Professional XI. Updated to Windows 10 Version 1607, and Acrobat failed to launch. Error messages said that mcvcr100.dll and msvcp100.dll were missing.I tried downloading and reinstalling the latest version of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package, but it was of no help.I then decided to see whether Adobe Reader DC would work, which had been loaded and used before the Windows 10 update. Rather than immediately starting when I launched it, it reinstalled itself and then finally opened. After that, and without rebooting, Acrobat Professional XI started working properly.
