I'm unable to combine files into PDF with Acrobat XI.I'm running Windows 10.Below are screenshots of the responses I get:Does anyone know what the problem is?

I have a prototype developed in java which can read Urdu text from txt. file for checking plagiarism in Urdu text, now I want to know how to read Urdu text content from PDF file using java so I can check plagiarism from reading Urdu text from pdf files. Kindly help me as soon as possible.

I'm trying to change from signing documents on paper to signing them on pdf. I want to be at least as efficient as I am on paper. I receive the pdf in question as an electronic fax. I would like to open it immediately to the sign toolbar and place my initials. Ideally the initials would be time stamped. The process that I'm having to use currently is to open the document, click on "Fill & Sign", wait for it to reload with the "fill & sign" toolbar, click on "Sign", click on my initials, place my initials, click on "Ab" to place text, type the date, resize the date (it is too small to start), click "save" and close the document. Sometime I also need to place comments on the document. I've put the specific controls that I need to use in the main toolbar so that I can use them quickly upon opening the document. I can't seem to put the signing controls there, though. This process has several steps that I would like to eliminated. Please help me streamline it.

Hello!Is there a way to change the drop down list based on a check box selection? I've been looking online and can't seem to find anything helpful for a javascript!I have 2 checkboxes labelled "First" and "Faith" and a drop down named "Covers" with options of A, B, C, D, E, F, G.If I check off first, I want A, B, C, and D to be available in the dropdown, and if I click faith I was D, E, F and G available.Any suggestions?Thanks!

Hi, I have a script to create a placeholder text in my field until I click into it and wish to enter data: if (!event.value) event.value = "Activity/Breakdown goes here";However I need to add this to a field that also requires the format to be number only. How do I retain the custom script and add the script to make it number format only?Sorry if this is extremely novice, but not sure how to make the two run side by side.Thanks,

I created a form to gather information on a speaker presentation form.  Whenever someone types in the information for the primary person, it populates the secondary person's fields exactly the same.  The same is true the other way around.  I went in and renamed the fields and it is still happening, in address only now. Why is this happening?  Please help, Nancy

I have uninstalled both and reinstalled DC but it remains unresponsive. It looks like it is going to open a file and then just quits.

I created a fillable PDF form with multiple pages. I started out with an Illustrator file, then exported it to Acrobat to make it fillable. For some reason, though, when users enter text on the first page and try to continue onto the next, the text from the first page just auto copies over onto the following pages. And if you delete what was on the second (or third) page to enter the correct data, it will populate that on the first page. I figure it must be something that went screwy when I was creating the form, so I don't know if there is a way to fix it without just starting over. Thanks!

In Acrobat DC Standard, in the edit, preferences, general section, I don't have the option to have multiple tabs open in one window.  Anyone know why?

When I have multiple documents to save as pdf/a's, it is very hap hazard whether or not it will work. It will typically work for the first document that I attempt and beyond that nothing will happen. Is there anything that I can do to fix this?I'm working in Adobe Acrobat X 10.1.6 on a Mac OS X El Captain 10.11.6

Document insert using the "before" and sometimes "after" button crashes program.  Did something change recently?

I have moved from 5 year old Windows 7 PC to a new Windows 10 PC. I pulled the Acrobat 9 Pro license keys using a program called Belarc adviser, then uninstalled Acrobat from the old machine. I then re-downloaded 9 Pro from Adobe's website, and started to install it on the new PC, however when I went to enter the key I received a 'license invalid' error. I re-confirmed that the key was correct and tried several more times but kept receiving the same error.I have contacted adobe support via chat AND phone, and they have pretty much told me its discontinued and there's nothing they can do to help. Is there anything I can do to resolve this?Any advice is greatly appreciated!Thanks

When I try to create a pdf file it will not recognize in "all supported formats" the .xls.  It always did in the past but I had to reload Adobe after my hard drive crashed and now it won't.  How do I get it to recognize .xls

I have an Adobe Acrobat DC form with what I believe is a simple issue but has me stumped.  I have a field (InitialDate) in which the user inputs a date.  I have another field in which the user inputs the number of days (AddedDays) .  I want the third field FinalDate to calculate the value by adding the specified number of days from AddedDays to the InitialDate.  Below is the javascript I have added to under the calculate in the FinalDate field.The javascript works great except when the user CHANGES the date in the InitialDate field, the FinalDate field is not updating.  If the user changes the AddedDays input, the FinalDate field is updating.  Can someone help me? When I try to combine .docx files using "Combine Files" in Adobe Standard DC, I receive an error message that says: "Additional files will need to be installed to create PDF from this file. Do you want to run the Adobe Acrobat DC Installer in repair mode?" I have run the installer in repair mode, but nothing happens. I have also tried totally uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe, as well as repairing/uninstalling and reinstalling Microsoft Office (it's Office 2016). I am able to combine .doc files with no problem and I can print .docx files to PDF/use the plug-in in Word without any issues.Any thoughts on next steps?[Moved from the non-support, general, all-of-Adobe forums Lounge to a product-specific support forum - Mod]

I have a form with a variety of fields.In 2 different areas of the form, there are checkboxes. These do not print. But checkboxes on other pages do.The option to print all fields is on.

My computer crashed and I lost Adobe Acrobat Standard 8.1. I want to reinstall it on the new computer but Adobe is no longer offering that download. I am not interested in paying a monthly fee for a product that I already paid for some time ago. Are there other alternatives for reacquiring 8.1?

i have purchased adobe DC, but i didnt got any license key, seller asked to create and account and work with that only. But software is asking for activation. what shoud i do.

I have a few computers that are offline and do not have connection to the internet. I had installed Adobe DC on them and followed the procedures to activate them offline using the whole response code process. Horrible process by the way. So recently two of them crashed and I got everything reinstalled but when I try to activate Adobe DC pro using the offline procedure. The website says that this license has reached its limit. All the documentation you have only talks about simply signing out of the adobe program. Well that doesn't work for me. How can I deactivate those licenses for reuse on the same machines. Doesn't the activation process capture machine info showing that its going back on the same machine and not on a different one? Thanks for your help.
