I clicked 'Share' in illustrator to share three artboards with a client for review. In the Safari browser, the artwork on the third artboard is blank. I can only see the artwork on all three using the Google Chrome. browser. This has happened with other files as well.
I use the gradient feather tool to fade my images to white in a lot of the pieces I make in InDesign and share for review. It used to show up fine in share for review (except being pixelated from being low res), however, now it shows up as a harsh crop straight across instead of a fade to white. The attached photos show an example of what a photo looks like in my InDesign file vs what it looks like at the share for review link.
Last month the shadow effect still worked in Adobe Review. Now it shows those rectangles instead.
A library style made with 4-pixel stroke will not always be 4-pixels. Arbitrarily it will change to 13 pixels, 19 pixels, 2 pixels. This is also true for Copy layer style. If you copy a style with 4 pixels, say. It may or may not be 4-pixels when you Paste it. Can be 8, 2, 1, 14.This is time-wasting and very frustrating. If a user sets a style with a width the user wants the style always with that width.Recently introduced bug. Surprised it is not yet fixed.
Files with numbered names are sorting like 1, 10, 11, 12, 2, 3, 4, etc.Can you teach your sorting program how to count please?
When I click on the feedback pin on a shared illustrator document it doesn't always take me to the corresponding comment in the comment feed. And vice-versa - if I click on a comment in the comment feed it doesn't always highlight the corresponding pin on the artboard.Additionally if I open the comments window in Illustrator the text of the comment is cut off on the right side no matter how large I extend the window. Instead of the copy naturally flowing to the next line to adjust for window size it continues on one line making the end of the comment impossible to read.
For some reason the Libraries panel is the only one that doesn't have an image resize. The font and the window itself won't resize either when you try to change the interface in the preferences. annoyingly enough, all the other windows and functions respond correctly, but the main feature that this program presents to organize every file in your PC doesn't work as it should. negative 5 stars for the effort as i see this problem has been ongoing for more than 5 years.
Suppose I have 3 projects for which I have created a Share for review link. The client provides feedback on the oldest project. I update the oldest project in Illustrator, but when I open the "Comments" or "Share for review" panel, it shows the comments, file name and link of the most recent project for which I created a share for review link. If I then click "Update content", it puts the design of the oldest project on the link of the most recent project. This gets everything mixed up.A solution that once worked is to change the file name in the Share for review dialogue box to the matching file name, but when I want to do that, I always get the error "There was an error renaming the artifact".
I have two artboards that are the exact same size (second is copied from the first using Alt+drag with Artboard Tool). The second artboard in the sharing link is about 20% smaller than the first. Also, on mobile, the first artboard is cut off by about 10% on the right.
Let me drag and drop brushes into Libraries like in the past.
I cannot delete a specific file. Here are the details:- The issue arises with a file that has been synchronized with Adobe Creative Cloud.- The file in question does not appear when synchronizing via software like Mac.- The synchronization status of the Adobe Creative Cloud software is always displayed as an error.- The error message says, 'Some files could not be synchronized.'Strangely enough, it is possible to update the file. It's a PDF file that can't be deleted, but it can be overwritten with a completely different PDF file. When I try to delete it, an error occurs. When I try to change the name, an error occurs. Therefore, I suspect that the filename is the cause.File name95973192_20230205_S907660_Дޮ‰ïŽÐ‚i‚s‚aƒRƒ~ƒ…ƒjƒP[ƒVƒ‡ƒ“ƒfƒUƒCƒ“_ŒÙ—pŒ_–ñ‘95973192_20230205_S907660_Дޮ‰ïŽÐ‚i‚s‚aƒ
There is no scrolling option in the users viewing of the adobe fonts installed or in the custom library. Yes there are page numbers in the custom library but if you have a particularly large font family you cannot view all the fonts and moving to another page starts a new font. Scrolling was available in 2022 when I set up my custom library, however it is no longer available in 2023 and makes life very difficult with large libraries of fonts. see attached.
The XD files are not syncing and we hit a huge collaboration block here. Please fix it or give me work around.
Takes over an hour to sync even a small 3MB file. When collaborating with other designers, we have to wait hours to check each others changes. This is unworkable. There should be a way to force a refresh. My colleague completes his work, saves the file, then emails me to say it's done. Then a few hours later, the updated files are there. We are on Australian NBN Broadband, which is 25MBps.
When I do manage to drag an item into the library, even if I hold it over a folder or between 2 items and see the highlighted line appear, it will sometimes drop it into a completely different spot in the library. This wastes a lot of time and forces me to move it manually to the proper location again.
Libraries won't load on Illustrator 26.3.1 - works in InDesign, but not illustrator or photoshop.
I made a share link for a document that had a bunch of artboards, but when I opened the link it gave the area around the artboards a white background, which caused the borders of some of the graphics to be indiscernible. I think if the share link would respect artboard borders better by either adding a line around them or keeping the dark background that would look much better.
When I press '?' in a situation where I cannot type text, I expect to get an overview about the available keyboard shortcuts. For best-practice examples, see:https://github.com/https://stackoverflow.com/
When I press Left or Right in about every PDF reader, it navigates to the previous or next page. Not so the web page for commenting on PDF files in the Adobe Creative Cloud. It should follow the best practice that the other programs have established years ago.
When I review a PDF file and comment on it, depending on the page zoom, the page jumps to an entirely unrelated part. This behavior gets in my way of efficiently reviewing files and sheds a bad light on the UX attention from Adobe in general.
When I use the mouse wheel to zoom in an asset, the zoom level only changes in tiny steps instead of +100% or -50% like everywhere else.Furthermore, when zooming using the mouse wheel, every second click is ignored, which makes the UI feel sluggish. For doubling the zoom level, I need 30 clicks instead of a single click, which is way too much to allow efficient work on a document.
Getting this message: "To use Creative Cloud libraries, please sign into Creative Cloud". I'm signed in to CC; in fact, I launched InDesign from Creative Cloud.
File locations get lost or the "version" of the InDesign or Illustrator that the file was created in is no longer available. Didn't have these issues before the last CC upgrade. Just yesterday, I saved an Illustrator file and know that I saved it. Then, did a save as to rename and make changes for a new version. The previous version vanished, an image in the recent listing menu appeared, but couldn't be found to open. Now vanished as if it never existed. Had to start my original file over using my now changed version. Just took the entire morning doing it again.
Invited party accepted invite with write access and added items and changed name of library, but no change on my end no new items show on my end either.I have logged out and back into Creative Cloud, no change.
I get storage warning so I go into the asset manager or whatever its called and start to delete all my old files. To my utter surprise, after I am done my storage space used actually goes up. I have, as near as I can tell only a small number of assets left and cannot for the life of me figure out what on earth Adobe has done to take up the extra space. This is exactly why I will never let Adobe manage my assets in the cloud or use anything but Lightroom Classic.
