I'm trying to use the Hypatia Sans Pro font in one of my projects, but the font itself as it is loaded it's height on desktop is off. This is how it looks: The problem I have is identical to this issue described here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/28101813/fix-custom-font-line-height-with-css On mobile it displays correctly. Are you able to fix the typekit font file please? I look forward to your reply.
Hello everyone. I have a question regarding the use of Unity game development software and regarding the use of Text Mesh Pro. We have Adobe products with a corresponding desktop licence to use them. When we load the fonts in Unity and use Text Mesh Pro, we create vectors and textures, from which the original font can never be rebuild again. Here is an outline of how we are using the font:The font file (in OTF format) is converted into a TextMesh Pro font asset within Unity. This process generates a texture atlas and mesh data that are used to display text in the application. The original font file (OTF) is not included in the final application package, as the text rendering relies solely on the pre-generated atlas and mesh. So, having this font in our mobile application, does it count as redistribution, which requires a different kind of license? We are leaning towards thinking it does not, since the font itself is not present there. Only "graphics" created wi
Hi everyone,I'm facing a line-height issue on my website that seems to be caused by an Adobe Font. The text is displaying with extra white space above, making it look misaligned rather than evenly spaced. I've tried adjusting line-height in CSS, but the issue persists. When switching to a system font, the spacing appears normal.I've attached a screenshot showing the problem. Has anyone else encountered this? Any suggestions on how to fix it?Font is : "gesta"Thanks in advance!
Hi There, I've recently embedded an adobe font into a website. The font shows up on Chrome and Firefox desktop only. It doesn't show up on Chrome and Firefox molbile, and it doesn't show up on Safari desktop or mobile. How do it fix this? Thank you,Amy Website: https://sparkevents.ie/ This is the embed code I've used:<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://use.typekit.net/epp0ksn.css"> This is the CSS I've used:h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6 {font-family: "arboria", sans-serif!important;font-weight: 700;font-style: normal;} body p,li {font-family: "arboria", sans-serif!important;font-weight: 400;font-style: normal;} body a {font-family: "arboria", sans-serif!important;}
Hello,I had a problem with Adobe Creative Cloud, and more specifically with Adobe Fonts. I had a large font family installed on my computers, from Adobe fonts. Then suddenly it said that "there was a problem with the font installation" or "Unable to install this font". I can't use the font that is already installed, because Adobe Creative Cloud says it is not installed. So now a lot of my works in which I used this font are over.Thank you in advance for your help!
Hi,I'm a newbie who is having trouble downloading a font (Livory Regular). My project starts by manipulating text in Microsoft Excel with formulas (it's a long story). I can't edit the text unless I have it in what will be the ultimate font.I have a free membership and my understanding is 1) I can download fonts 2) Livery Regular is one of the fonts I can download. Am I correct. My problem: I am logged into both Adobe and Adobe Creative Cloud. I open https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts?purpose=desktop&ref=tk.com&referrer=dd01e5bd12. I then use the search box to open the Livery family of fonts webpage (https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/livory), but I don't see any means by which I can download Livory Regular to my PC.When I click on on the 'Manage fonts' box one of the options is 'Open Creative Cloud App', but I have already done that. When I click on this option nothing happens presumably because I have already opened the Creative Cloud App. I seem to be going around in c
I am trying to access my Adobe fonts on my iPad. Instructions say to use the mobile Creative Cloud app. That app no longer exists, however. The creative cloud page on Safari is unhelpful as when clicking on manage fonts, I am simply redirected to a nonexistent app. I need a solution to this and would appreciate any feedback on what to do. If there is no solution ultimately I'd just download a third party font installer for iOS and download a free version of the same font, but I'd like to avoid resorting to that.
Hello,I've been having this problem for a while where I add a font family from adobe fonts but they don't appear in my illustrator. Another issue I have is where I open old files and it asks me to replace the fonts even though I have them added already. Can anyone help?
How do I find my new fonts? I expect them to appear as downloaded fonts in my Windows/Fonts folder so I can install them into Unreal Engine and use them dynamically in my UI. Suggestions?
Hi there,I'm about to go live with a website where we used Halyard Display font (Book + Regular weights) but we just realised that it renders differetly on Mac and Windows browsers. On Windows looks alligned to the centre but on Mac it's positioned lower, with more space on the top part of the font. This mean that when we fix it on Mac to allign it correctly, on Windows gets pushed up and all the design basically looks wrong. Is this a font issue? Can it be fixed? Thank you,Agostina
Oi vocês sabem porque acontece isso? não consigo utilizar a fonte e já reinstalei varias vezes, instalei no computador, etc etc e nada ainda.. Testei em mais de 1 dispositvo.
First off, I am not new to tech or design. I build my own computer systems and typically have no difficulty troubleshooting software/hardware issues.Yet no matter what I do I cannot get any of my Adobe fonts to activate.Yes, I have gone through every single common suggestion for what to do to activate them.I have signed out, restarted the computer, toggled fonts on and off, gone into the Windows 10 group policy and registry editor to make sure that the "block untrusted fonts" feature is not on. I have added Creative Cloud and the necessary domains to be allowed through the firewall. Not only can I not activate any new fonts, all of my previously active fonts are both deactivated and have completely disappeared from even my previously activated fonts list! What an absolute nightmare and time suck.Adobe, I love a lot of your products, but your Adobe fonts "service" is not a service at all, it is just a massive time suck and so full of bugs that it makes Cyberpunk 2077 look like a fully pol
Hi,We're using the Obviously web font on our website and compared to other type faces I'm seeing all instances of this typeface being set higher in vertical alignment. This means EVERY instance needs unequal padding set to balance it out. All other css styles I've used to correct this don't seem to work and my research suggest this is just something wrong with the typeface itself. I'm also tempted to contact the typeface author and ask what gives.Does anyone have some suggestions for how to resolve this? Have you noticed this with other Adobe web fonts. Ultimately I'll spend a day adding padding EVERYWHERE on our site but it's not really a great solution to something that could be fixed on the typeface itself.I've tried both the fixed and variable typefaces but both are incorrectly set.https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/obviously-variable
The Auto Pro family is messed up. Styles Light, Regular, Bold and Black all show as Regular so you can only activate one at a time. Small Caps Light and Regular Italic are there twice with different names while the normal styles are missing.
i install a font and a use it in my projects, the day after the font disappers in project. I see it installed in fonts.adobe but not in creative cloud desktop app. it'a big problem, what can i do? I expect adobe will solve. In the while i can't work!
Hello, A number of fonts disappeared from my website hosted on portfolio. In particular, one which I used for a new logo last year and also used for headers on the website. The font appears in my Creative Cloud app and shows up in a browser font search, but when I try to search for it via portfolio it indicates "no font found with that name". I'm hoping someone could give some helpful advice. The font is Milka from the Letterbox Foundry. ThanksScott
For my fonts everything I type that has the options for glyphs shows up with a glyph and it wont let me change it to the standard ligature in the glyphs panel. I've turned off the "enable type layer glyph alternates" and I still can't seem to get the base font to work without the glyphs. Super frustrating that I can't use these fonts in the designs I'm wanting. This has been an issue for at least a year. I've searched and searched for a solution and have not found any. Any advice to help stop the auto glyphs from populating would be greatly appreciated. I've posted an example. It will not let me change to the standard font at all.
Mit welcher Schrift(-familie) kann ich die Times ersetzen?
Does anyone know of an all lowercase font with no uppercase letters? I've only founs one, 'twenty-one', surely there must be more. I've searched Adobe, 1001 fonts, and dafont. Usually, I can copy and paste to Word and change there but I am using a program that outputs content ad a png with no overide. Thanks, Jim
Hello everyone, I would like to solve once and for all the question of Source Sans Pro and its license. Is Source Sans Pro under SIL OFL open license? These pages say it is:https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/source-sans-prohttps://www.1001fonts.com/source-sans-pro-font.html#license Also, Google fonts offers Source Sans 3. Which is a modified version of Source Sans Pro. But how about Source Sans Pro itself? Is the license different that the open license of Source Sans 3? The OFL SIL, the open license, allows for any use. Even for web self hosting. But if I look at Source Sans Pro on the Adobe website, it says it is free with the exception of web self hosting. So I do not know what is the truth. Is is SIL OFL? If yes, web self hosting is not a problem. If no, why do so many pages say it is? Does anyone have a clarification of this situation?
Hi, I've downloaded, and been using on PPT, Transducer from Adobe Fonts but can't find the font in my Apple Font Book? Usually fonts downloaded show up in my font book and I can then embed them into ppt decks for my team to edit. With this font I can't, is there any reason for that?
Hi! I got an commission to create different stickers for a client, that they will resell as their product. I would like to create single words like " Hello" "Sweetness" or similar, but gets a bit confused over the license. As long as i dont make stickers out of single glyphs, ( like an single "A" ) can i use adobe fonts to create words made for stickers and re-sell ( as vectorised files ) to the client to use? Thanks !
Hello! We have been using Adelle (for headlines) and Adelle Sans (for body text) on our digital channels for a long time. Recently, we noticed that the text alignment is not working as expected. For example, the text in buttons does not appear centered, even though the padding is set correctly. Upon closer inspection, it seems that the fonts have some built-in extra padding. We have tried several solutions, but nothing has worked. We are wondering if we might be using an older version of the WOFF file for these fonts. Is it possible to download the current font files locally from Adobe Fonts? We have been unable to locate such an option anywhere.Thank you in advance!
