Details:Not my original file, not sure of original PS or OS versions. Shouldn’t matter.Creator is in a different time zone (asleep now).Font is Monserrat (Google Fonts in 18 different styles).Problem:I need to update some text, but...If I update the text for vector output (or simply edit a text layer instead, tried both), the text reverts to Montserrat Regular instead of the Medium or Semibold that it should be (compared to the preview before updating, and jpeg & PDFs saved/exported by the creator.Any ideas? TIA.
Is there a way to select exactly which OpenType features you want to enable in a webfont added to a web project in Adobe Fonts? I am making a website where I use two fonts, a serif and a sans-serif. Both are great fonts with extensive OpenType support; the serif (Skolar) is taken from Adobe Fonts, while the sans is hosted locally. The trouble is that I want to always apply stylistic set 01 to the sans-serif, but never to the serif. This turns out to be quite tricky to achieve stably: In the font-face declaration for the sans font, I have turned on ss01, and this is enough to make it work exactly as intended in some browsers (Firefox and Safari, specifically); but WebKit browsers don’t support font-feature-settings inside font-face declarations, so it has no effect in Chrome, Opera, Edge, etc.Adding styles .sans and .serif that specify both the font family and whether to use the stylistic set or not sort of works – except when you have something like a serif span inside a
I made the mistake of activating a font family before my CC app was running. As a result, I don't have this font visible in the app, neither I have an activation option on fonts.adobe.com available.I believe that the website 'believes' that I've already activated it, while the app didn't receive it.I signed out and restarted my computer. ...Still the same issue. Thanks
So I'm not sure if this is something that everyone deals with but doesn't see a problem with it, or if it's Windows 10 specific, but please hear me out because I see this as a huge potential issue. On my Windows 10 machine, if I start up my computer offline and open, for example, an InDesign file that uses an activated font from Adobe fonts, the program will ask me to go online to find the fonts through Adobe fonts or choose a substitution. This is easy to fix if I can connect to the internet - just open CC and everything goes back to normal. However, if I can't connect because I'm on a plane or whatever reason, I am stuck and cannot edit my files without substituting the font. This happens every single time I start my machine offline even if I was just online 10 minutes before and editing the same file (ie the fonts are definitely active). I have been told by Adobe help that this is normal and that active fonts are never available offline from startup (but that you can open C
I'm on a trip right now and wanted to use the time to work. Well, turns out I can't because adobe fonts are not working offline. Why? Hi guys, i have to following problem: on the windows 10 system are already fonts installed (some Noto Sans and other fonts). The problem is, that something went wrong with the fonts and the adobe creative cloud.Every time a project is opened with indesign, the program tries to install these fonts, although that these are already installed: The "installation" of these fonts fails, because they're already installed. Wouldn't be a problem but he tries this every day. Also some projects with these fonts are causing problems: when opened with indesign, the program highlights every text with these fonts as error, because it can't find the fonts. You can stet them manually but you have to do this every time you open the same project the first time of the day.I found out that they're in the font libary of adobe:But even if they're deactivated here, the next day they're all actiaved again. (and i guess i can't "delete" them there right?) Things i tried so far: Deactivate
Hello, We have 10 seat licenses with Creative Cloud and need to cancel one. Unfortunatley, the one we need to cancel contains a number of web font kits. Can those be transfered to another account seamlessly without disrupting any of our live web projects?
Hello,i created a font pack, i linked to my site.Unfortunately there is a very obvious FOUT problem. To decrease the effect, from css I also indicated a family of similar fonts, but it solved very little. The best thing would be to place the fonts on the server where the site resides, but you do not allow them to be downloaded. How do you recommend solving the problem? Thank you
Hi there, I need to understand what Adobe licence I need to use adobe fonts with Qwilr, please?
Hello All, I would like to understand if it is ok to modify fonts as it appears there is conflicting information about this in the FAQs and Terms of Use. Can anyone clarify? FAQ's - Can I modify the look of a font and use it for commercial purposes?Yes, you can modify or decorate type that you have converted to outlines. The resulting image may be copyrighted or registered as a trademark, or used in commercial products. You may not make changes to the font software file itself Adobe Fonts Service Additional Terms3.4 (E) Prohibited Uses of the Licensed Content. Hello All, I recently downloaded the Filson typeface from Adobe Fonts. It's perfect for my needs but I'm having an issue when printing. I find I'm having to outline the type to allow me to print directly from Illustrator. When I print the file leaving the typeface un-outlined the 'tails' of many letters (y, g, j, q, etc.) disappear.Any issues whether this is something I am doing incorrectly or is there an issue with this typeface? Many thanks in advance for your help,Kathryn
I am using Adobe Caslon Pro from Adobe Fonts for a web project, and the baseline is not where it should be.Is there any way to fix this?
Hi, community:I seem to be running a common issue here. My problem is, everytime I try to activate a font, Windows OS prompts a notification saying that said font is deactivated. In the active panel, all fonts seem to be active, but they don't appear in any CC app. I've tried every process, from disabling Adobe fonts, re-enabling it... but nothing seems to work.
I am doing a second book in a series for a client, and for all the usual reasons want to keep the design and look as consistent as possible. The first was done in 13pt Arno Pro for the body, and ran to 258 pages in all. The second book is going to be about 50% longer in content and the author (and I, as publisher) want to keep the print edition under 300 pages. I am not sure body tweaks (12pt on a point less leading, etc.) will get the content into that space. I chose Arno for its many faces but now note it has no condensed or narrow form. Does anyone have good recommendations for a font that will closely resemble Arno (an average reader should not be able to notice any difference, side by side) but with a more compact horizontal dimension? At least six weights (+Semibold) would be useful as well. Thanks! —
Hello everyone, I have a problem with wrongly displayed fonts in Safari in the Q&A section of e-learning I prepared in Captivate. I had to use Din Pro as company fonts there are not in Adobe Fonts. As an exercise, we used fonts from Adobe Fonts caled URW DIN, but we have the problems with the Polish characters "Ł, Ą, Ś, Ć, Ż, ź" see the attachment. This mistake occurs when these two letters appear next to each other "ŁĄ". Thank you in advance for your help.
Hi there, do you know why Niveau Grotesk is not active in Squarespace although it is an active font in Adobe Font and is usable for every purpose? Thanks and have a great Wednesday!Laura
No matter how many times I try and sign in or attempt to use Adobe Fonts, I constantly get a message saying Access Denied and I need to contact an IT Administrator or sign in with an Adobe ID. My IT team are unsure why this is happening and have not had access to this for months. No matter how many times I have tried signing in or uninstalling Photoshop, this still happens. Please can someone help? <Title renamed by moderator>
