Adobe Learning Manager

When I add a new External Group, I need to assign that group to a learning program.  The new group is not on the list when I choose to 'Enroll' on the Learning Program.  When the 1st user registers, they have NO content to start the program.  Waiting for the 1st user to register, then go back into administration to assign the group is backwards and not time efficient???  Is there another way I can set this up so I can assign courses to 'new' external groups.  It does not need to be a Learning Program if there is another way to do it.Thanks

There was a API in V1 of Captive prime which was giving use modules within a course. In V2 Courses are called learning objects but we do not see any API to get the modules inside of that course. Please let us know if we are missing something.https://captivateprime.adobe.com/docs/primeapi/v2/​Also, the notes against a course is also not being returned by the V2 version API.

Under Reporting and Learner Transcripts I begin typing a name and in some instances the same User's name is listed twice. I selected the top name first and opened the transcript. The I selected the bottom name. As you can see two different transcripts were produced. Why wouldn't these be combined by the software?

Is there anyway to lock in landscape mode as the only viewing option and not allow vertical when a learner is on their phone using the Captivate Prime app and viewing a course? Would appreciate the help if anyone has any insight on this issue. Thanks!

There once was a time I could call Prime Support or Chat with Prime Support.  No Longer???When I click on 'Help' and Contact, it brings me to the Adobe Support, Prime is a 'Less Common Option' and after selecting it, the only choice I get is 'Adobe Captivate Prime Help' webpage.  At the bottom, If I click on 'Contact Us' (it says REAL HELP FROM REAL PEOPLE under that), it sends me right back to the Adobe Support page to then the loop starts all over again.Anyone have a link to 'Chat' or, worst case, a phone number for Captivate Prime Support?

Is there anyway to change, manually the certification status of a learner. I made a mistake in setting up my learning plan and assigned the course instead of the certification. A learner took the course, but I need to get his completion information into Certification. I am a new user of Prime and have not yet had the integration portion activate by Adobe. I am wondering if using integration I can export out of the course and import into the certification

I have been having issues with Chrome and the SWF content. so I decided I would publish in html5 only using Captivate 2017. I have discovered a huge weakness in the Captivate Prime fluidic player. My clients content is regulatory based. I am required to have the published module set up to prevent learners from fast forwarding or skipping slides. Due to the poor design of the fluidic player the play bar is always available and can be used to skip slides or fast forward to the end of the presentation. Is anyone else in the same boat? I know using the skin editor I can control the navigation, but that is all flash driven. I want to eliminate flash from all my training modules and as it stands now, that is impossible.

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding adobe captivate prime. We have just launched our LMS and noticed that we need to reset our modules. We already know how to do this, however there seems to be a problem with missing learners so I can't reset any modules for those learners. Anyone have any ideas for resetting the module another way, or a way to fix these "ghost learners"?Thanks,

I would like to start my own eLearning company. I would like learners to pay online to use my content e.g. I have some content. A user comes along and would like to register for the particular module. They click self registration..... BUT... before the user is alowed to register they are billed for the training content. Is this possible using Captivate Prime? From what I have seen this is aimed at companies with employees and cannot cater for somebody like me and my needs.... or am I mistaken?

We are experiencing an issue when we move from a Captivate created module to a Captivate created quiz. If the learner uses the persistent playbar the to advance to the Quiz it will load but won't advance. If the learner clicks the x button and goes back to the course overview page they can click the quiz from there and it works fine. Is this a known bug? The learners become frustrated that they can't use the persistent playbar. Thank you!

Is it possible to print a course from Captivate Prime?

When printing out a transcript for a learner it was found there are important data missing that's need for reporting. The missing data is 1) Blanks under Modules, 2) Blanks under Enrollment Date, and 3) Deadline. Both courses below  have 4 modules and were assigned 6/22/2017. Both classes have a 30 day deadline.

Hi there. I have a trial version and am looking to use both Captivate and Captivate Prime for our company training.It looks to me like there's only self-assessment by the learner.Is it possible to add an outside assessment by a manager? Ideally, the learner would have course material, quiz and then assessment by a manager or instructor, with the manager's score being incorporated into the learner's course progress and the manager getting a reminder to assess. Is there a way of doing this inside prime/captivate?

Hello ACP Dev Team.Here is the situation:1. As admin, I set up a profile called "sales" so that, I would NOT have to manually register my learners.2. Now that I'm getting traction, employees are registering in Prime and enrolling in courses, I want to correct the manager field to their actual real-life manager.3. The problem is Prime does not allow me to modify the manager field on a learner that has gone through the self-registration process (I did not have this issue during my testing of ACP months ago, when I uploaded a small test group using the Single User registration method).4. The second half of the problem, beyond not being able to modify the manager field is, real-life managers will not be able to pull reports on their team members.Regards,Thomas H.Master Electronics

Hi there,I started designing modules and courses for our summer institute, and I was very excited to have the learners use their phones to learn with the Captivate Prime App. However, there are problems. The entire slide isn't displayed on the iPhone or iPad screens. I tried changing the resolution several times to make it fit, but it doesn't work. Also, the quiz slides are bugged. Sometimes they appear, and sometimes they do not. I need to know how to fix the resolution to fit perfectly as fit-to-screen, regardless of if it is iPhone or iPad. And I need to know how to fix the quiz bug. It only happens on the app.The app also doesn't let me use the player controls. I can't go forward, backward, or go full-screen. I can only pause/play.

Hi Everyone,How can I find out which buttons/list boxes etc. a user clicked while learning in my adobe captivate prime simulation? Can I find out that Information  from the learner's transcript? I've uploaded my content in the content library and I've added it to a self-paced course, I also assigned each button an own ID, and I've alsotried to set the action of the button to assign a certain variable a certain value. However, I cannot see that a button was clicked in the transcript.Best regardsMax

Hello,I am extremely new to this and in the early research stages of choosing an LMS.We want to be able to have people/users be able to log-in only when there is an update to a course or a new course.This might be 1 to 3 times a year for a day or two.  Does Captivate allow users to have an active account for a month then switch it to inactive for a couple of months?Can the user pay the $4/month/user fee only when they need to be active?Thanks,Andy

I have a group of people who were in Organization A1. Their verification email did not go through and they were unable to log in. I "paused", turned off their "status", and deleted the emails. I created Organization A2, now the link says that Users are associated with group A1. How do I disassociate them from A1 and link them to A2? Is there a way to force add the Users email to Organization A2? Or a way to reset their emails so they can re-register again? Thanks in advance.

The amount of Adobe Captivate branding in the entire learning experience throughout the platform is just way too much. Your Head of Branding did a wonderful job I must say, but really for a paid product, we would like to push our own brand out!One example is the standard emails going out, the name of the email from which its coming from is Adobe Captivate Prime. On top of the email, in a blue subject banner it says "Adobe Captivate Prime", etc.Not that we don't pride the association, but we believe it should be toned down and our own company brands should be the ones clearly projected to the learners.Kindly advice if there is a way around these emails and the toning down in general.Thank you.

In Q4 2016 I reported some critical issues between Adobe Captive Prime LMS and it's interaction with my 3rd party learning content provider, BizLibrary.After months of diligent work from the Prime programmers, my Customer Success Manager, Hema Tomar, informed me the programming was complete, solving these issues:BizLibrary content not playing WITHIN the Adobe Captivate Prime Fluidic Player.Prime, not fully capturing, the learner's progress, quiz info etc. when viewing BizLibrary content.Thank you to everyone that helped bring these solutions to life. We have technicians in the field who currently only have I Phones.  What type of tablet including minimum size is required for use with Prime?

Hello,I have a user who was enrolled in a course for testing purposes, and she completed the course, made comments, and I updated the course. I'm now trying to enroll her in the course to test the updated version, and every time I enroll her it says "User enrolled", but her name does not show up on a list of enrolled users, and she does not receive the enrollment notification. Can someone help let me know what I'm doing wrong?
