My Media Encoder is not launching. the previous version never launched either. I have tried reinstalling, and I have tried deleting the Cache files for Media Encoder included in the library folder. I am running iMac 27 inch 2017. What am I missing? It says Error has Occurred after launch screen.
Media Encoder on Mac doesnt encode my Files to h264 properly. There is always black frames (sometimes even seconds) missing in the encoded files. Tested on 2 Mac Pro 2019 and its the same problem on both machines. Please Fix asap, we cant use it anymore
I keep getting a failed error when trying to use Adobe Media Encoder. I open up my premiere project and select the comp I want. I switch the format to Quicktime, select h.264 from preset. Hit the start button and I get the failed sound/icon.2 questions:1. My comp is 1920x1080 but when I go in it automatically has it as 720... why is it not recognizing the comp size?2. Is there a way to fix this error? It seems to export occassionally to my C drive (which is not raid) but it fails to my F drive (Raid 10). But usually if I export as a wmv or something smaller it exports fine to F.
So I've got a strange problem that's likely to become a bigger headache: Whenever I try to use AME to transcode from the Avid DNxHD or DNxHR files shot on my Shogun Inferno, the video exports just beautifully, but without audio. The only way I can get it to export with the audio is to take my individual clips into Premier, and export them through AME as individual sequences, which works, but slows down the workflow when I'm trying to do things like, make smaller files to share with someone who can't handle DNxHR 4K, or make mp4 proxies or reference files for various needs. I found a few forum entries from older versions, but the solutions listed didn't solve the problem. Any advice on how to solve this problem? I've got a current workaround, but like I said, its a little slow. Just to summarize:I'm using Media Encoder CC 2018The files are the quicktime .mov files from the Atomos Shogun Inferno recorded with the Avid DNxHD and HR codecs And I'm trying to transcode them to h.264 or h.265
Hello All, Issue :- ME 15.2 does not use CPU (and / or) GPU fully. Rendering is extremely slow. Hardware => 1) CPU - Intel Core I9-7960X CPU @ 2.80GHz 16 cores - 32 logical2) GPU - Nvidia RTX 2080ti 3) RAM - 48 GB4) HDD - two M.2 1TB each (The ME installed disk is diffrent and output disk is diffrent)5) OS - Windows 10 Home - version - 10.0.19042 Build 19042 Software ==> 1) Premier Pro 15.22) Media Encoder 15.23) After Effects 18.2.14) Using latest Nvidia driver. 5) Video which is getting rendered is 4K and has 10 after effects compositions in it. Issue ==> 1) Please see the attachments of task manager & ME. The CPU and GPU usage is just capped on 20 % to 30% of usage. 2) Earlier version (don't remember the PE/AE/ME versions now) the CPU usage while using the PE/AE/ME used to be always 100% (especially ME while rendering) but nowadays its just stick to 20 to 30% of actual c

I have an older mac pro running OS 10.11 and we had Adobe Media Encoder 2017 running on it. I upgraded to a newer version of CC and it broke the older one and the new one isn't supported by this OS/hardware. The Mac Pro can only go to OS 10.11 so now I need to reinstall an old copy of AME 2017. Adobe won't sell it to me - where can I get it? And yes - I am running an old trial of 2017 version but really can't be reinstalling it monthly. It's frustrating when you are willing to pay for software but the distributor won't sell it. thanks!
Hello,I just edited a video with Premiere, and transferred it over to Media Encoder to get the export done.I watched as it rendered through my video, and then it just stopped. I thought this might just need more time to process the clip it was at, so I went away for two hours, and came back. I checked on how the export was doing, and it had not moved forward at all. If someone could identify what my problem is, that would be excellent.thank you for your time
I can easily export to media channels. The problem is, "I DON'T WANT TO"! I just want to set up an Export Preset to files on my COMPUTER. I am totally baffled. I know I used to do it very easily, for it was there in some menu! Now I can't find it when I am encoding a batch. I'm embarrassed, because it is probably right there before my eyes. I think I am having a senior moment! 😞thanks, MikePC platform, Windows 10Latest Media Encoder

I can no longer find Media Encoder 2020 to install. Where can I find it?Premiere 2020 is the only version that supports Editshare Flow and NDI so I am bound to that version to queue. Thank you!
hi guys, i have a problem when rendering the premiere pro to the media encoder. . 1. I edited some *essential graphics* in the premiere within the main sequence. 2. I gave ctrl+m to the encoder queue, (I'm rendering in CBR (low compression)) 3. right after starting the render, after checking dynamic link and others, it stops at the timer, as if it were rendering the *essential graphics* . i wanted to know what it can be, my essential graphics used are from a (preset) and i changed some fonts that are not in adobe bridge.
When exporting from Premiere using the queue function that hands off to Media Encoder 2020, ME just crashes instantly once the encode begins. It makes no difference what project I'm using in Premiere or what the export settings are in Media Exporter. We're having the same issue across multiple Mac OS machines (running High Sierra, Mojave and Catalina) here in our office after updating to Adobe 2020 suite. We've tried installing/uninstalling and still problem persists on all machines in our office. You can still export a single sequence/file from inside Adobe Premiere but when it hands off a sequence to the queue (batching) in Media Encoder, it's all fail, all the time. Media Encoder will still encode files imported directly into the app, but it seems to be the handoff between Premiere and Media Exporter where the problem arises. Things were flawless in our office until recent upgrade. Title edited by Mod
Can anyone helo me with this I want to give some content to my client is this a correct format? Wrapper: .MOVVideo Codec: DVCPRoResolution: 1920X1080i
Premiere 2020 can see and export my tricaster footage, via my NDI Adobe plugin. However, when I queue to Media Encoder, the footage exports offline media. Why can't Media Encoder see/encode my tricaster footage? (((Thank you)))

Hi Adobe Friends...we have run into a small glitch with CC2021. When we attempt to export a short sequence from Adobe Premiere, Media Encoder opens up and we adjust the settings for our export. When we click on the Queue button, we receive an error message stating that Adobe Media Encoder is not installed - BUT IT ACTUALLY IS INSTALLED. This error message makes no logical sense. We have even gone so far as to uninstall and re-install the Media Encoder application, but we receive the same error message. Is there anyone out there experiencing this problem, or who may have previously? We have never run into this issue with Media Encoder in the past decade. Please help if you have information which can assist us. Cheers!
I downloaded a .mp4 file from our GoToWebinar presentation, it opens fine from Windows Movies & TV by default. But once I cut out the beginning of the video and convert the file in Adobe Media Encoder using "Match Source", I cannot open the converted .mp4 file. Tried to open from Windows media player, no luck either.Update: I cut up the file in Premier, and export in Premier to H.264 (,mp4), same result, cannot open in Windows Movies & TV.Message was edited by: Randy Chen
Hi folks! Really hope someone can help. I've just installed my old version of CS5 Production Suite on a new PC, but for some reason I can't import mp4 files into AME, After Effects, Or Premiere Pro. There's no error... the import dialogue just appears and then the cursor spins idly until I stop/quit. My older PC has no issue with this (and I've been happily using the apps for years). The specs of both machines, if it makes a difference, is: PC1i7-6900K / 32GB RAM and using an Nvidia GTX 1080 PC2AMD 3970X / 64 GB RAM using an Nvidia RTX 3090 Both machines run Windows 10 Home. I can import other formats into the above applications (though I haven't tested them all) without any issue, and export as mp4. Just can't get mp4 files in. I can't open any project that contains mp4 files, that opened on my older PC, either. I've searched for answers to this, but all I've seen so far either deals with issues exporting (I don't have that problem), or is trying to
Hi! Can somebody please help me out? Why does Premiere open something called Media Encoder? My computer is lagging really badly when I try to edit videos. Does it have to do with that app? I have emptied the Premiere cache - I do it once per hour, and shut down the aplication, wich helps for a while. From time to time - at least once a day - Premiere crashes. Here is what I can tell you about my computer - sorry, I coudn´t translate it all to English - I don´t know the words for this stuff...mac os Big sur 11.2.3MacBook ProProsessor: Four cores Intel Core i72,2 GHzProsessors: 1cores: 4L2-välimuisti (per core): 256 ktL3-välimuisti: 6 MtHyper-Threading-tekniikka: in useMemory: 16 GtThank you in advance! 🙂Katarina
My After Effects project uses a particle flare footage layer with blending mode "Screen". This plays and looks correct in the AE preview. However, after exporting to Adobe Media Encoder, it generates a render error. Export ErrorError compiling movie.Render ErrorRender returned error.Writing with exporter: H.264Writing to file: \\?\C:\Users\brown\Documents\Adobe\After Effects 2020\Projects\NL\NL_AME\NL.mp4Writing file type: H264Around timecode: 00:00:01:00Rendering at offset: 0.000 secondsComponent: H.264 of type ExporterSelector: 9Error code: -1609629695 I have found that changing the layer blend mode to others such as Normal, Add, Lighten all work correctly (every other mode I tried except Screen seems to work). Further, I exported the project (using Collect Files), copied it to another PC, where it renders correctly What can I do to fix the AME error?
I was trying to export my project from prem pro, so it went into media encoder and while i was trying to render it:An error was encountered while writing the output file. The output destination could not be found. Check that the output directory still exists. If the output directory is on a network or external device, check that the connection is active.popped up. How do I fix it? 😕😕 I used an adobe after effects project file and its called Untitled.
HI i have black text animtion that i want to export with no background and i know i need AVI format for that...But my problem is that the video is weigh adoute 2GB (10 SEC video)No metter what codec im using it is still huge file (i dont whant to import a huge file to premire every time)What can i do better?
Every single time I try to use adobe Media Encoder, the program crashes randomly before it can complete a single file. I have never been able to get it to function appropriately one time. I am always up to date on current versions, I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times. This is the case on both my Mac and PC work computers. Any recomendations would be helpful on how to solve this, as it would make a vast difference in my productivity.
Hello! When I export my .mov video to .webm on Adobe Encoder or Premier Pro, the colors changes a little for no reason (from pink to orange for example).I did a lot of research but no solution...Do you have any ideas?Thank you for your future answers 😔
