Today i tried to export an AE video using ME but it said there was an error and this text appeard. Hello All. I'm Adobe Premiere Pro user and i would like to know wich the Adobe Media Encoder version the most compatibilitys with Adobe Premiere Pro (Vers 14.0.3)?Best regards and happy day

Hello there,I want to stitch PNG pictures together into a MP4 file. Unfortunately when I import the first frame, ME doesn't recognize the rest of the PNG files and renders only 1 picture. Is there a fix for that or am I doing something wrong? I'm using version 13.1.5 due to a lot of render bugs and errors in the more recent versions (14.8, 14.9, 14.7). 

STILL crashes like the most recent versions. It's a shame. Media Encoder used to be solid and worry free. Now it just disgusts me.

I know there are tons of threads out there that ask this question, but a lot of them seem older and don't have proper answers.When rendering my files from Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018, it always uses my CPU entirely for rendering the finished product. This takes a really long time, as I have an i5-6500 (Quad Core clocked at base 3.2Ghz), so files can take between their own length to twice the video length to render.When I select to use the Mercury Playback Engine, which explicitly states it uses my GPU to render, I still see 100% CPU usage with the standard idle GPU usage I get (0-2%). Not only is it selected as my Renderer in ME, but it's also selected as the default Renderer in Premiere Pro's project settings.Sony Vegas Pro, the competitor to Premiere/AE/ME, renders on the GPU moreso than Adobe's products do. If the answer to this question is "not all effects render on the GPU, at the peak end of 2017 mind you (not 1998), then I have to sincerely raise an eyebrow how only cutting a vid

I'm trying to use media encoder to export a video ,but this error showed up and I don't know how to fix this issue. Is there a speed difference between Premiere Pro export and Adobe media encoder. Exporting speed is equal or not?

Hi, I have recently experienced problems rendering with Media Encoder. I wanted to render an After Effects project in the format H.264, it has always worked for me. But today it started rendering and when it was almost ready it stopped and said error by the name of the file and when I clicked it, it opened a text that showed the information of my video (name, where I was exporting it, etc) but nothing else, then I tried again but the same thing happened but now the text was empty. I changed the renderer from Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (OpenCL) to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only but it kept saying error. I don't know what to do and I need to export that video with H.264 because I upload them to social media.

Hi I tried outputting 4 second film made in latest photosho and I had to make gif then put that in media encoder manually.Direct link to media encoder was not working, even tried draging psd file in although it output a mp4it did not do it correctly... Anyone else finding this bug

I'm attempting to export a video for YouTube at 1280x720. Source media is 60fps. I've exported at 60fps & 24fps, I get the same result. Here is a look at the current export settings in addition to the sequence settings. Also attached are screenshots of the media before and after export. What am I doing wrong?

I've been using the Adobe Creative Suite for years and while Media Encoder has had its problems in the past with rendering times, I have never seen anything like this.A 1080p, 60FPS, 1 Pass with only 48Khz Stereo is taking 3x the video length on an Intel 9900K system with a TITAN RTX graphics card. Something is very wrong with Media Encoder.It's only using 10% of my GPU, 10% of my CPU and 33% of my memory at a very cool 56 Celcius.  None of those is a bottleneck to render time.  I'm not asking for help, I'm informing you that something in Adobe Media Encoder is broken. 5m = 15m render time.1hr= 3hr render time. Fix it.

Hi! I am trying to take my file from After Effects and usng Media Encoder, make it into an MP4 file, when I do this is produces a 3gp file, which I see is similar to an MP4, but the quality is absolutely terrible compared to the animation in AF. This video is going to be used for business purposes online and MP4 is the most convenient, so I do not have wiggle room in changing the file type. Any help would be appreciated in how to use the encoder correctly.  ThanksCameron

Where is the "include alpha channel" option? Please help, because I always remember this option being present in the media encoder.

my files for a premier composition were where the media encoder put them (/private/var/folders/nt/zwm5699941v663qzn7479q200000gn/T/Untitled Project_AME/Comp 1.mov). today I woke up to finish the project and all the files in there, are gone. Any ideas? I have tried the usual searching options ! 😞

I'm exporting a H.264 video with a solid red background however I noticed it was exporting slightly darker. I tried changing a few options and discovered the problem was hardware encoding, and using software encoding gave me the correct color. I want to continue using hardware encoding as it's faster than software, so is there something that can be done to fix the color inaccuracy?

Hello there!  I've been having this issue for a while.  I do weekly analysis videos of movies, and to better help my workflow, I cut up the entire movie into chunks, export those subsequences, and then import them into a new project that I will edit my video into (it's never the same project as the one I cut up the whole movie in).I make the project, set ingest setting to "Create Proxies", Adobe Media Encoder opens when I import the files, and up to half of them would just fail for seemingly no reason.The error message included in these is:"An error was encountered while writing the output file.  The output destination could not be found.  Check that the output directory still exists.  If the output directory is on a network or external device, check that the connection is active."My output destination is the same for the files that work and those that don't, and is entirely internal.  The size of the file doesn't seem to have any barring on whether it suc

Hi while i am rendering a video, i noticed that adobe not use my cpu and gpu efficiently. is it normal? or do i have to do something? 

I'm using Adobe Media Encoder 2020 (14.5 Build 48) on Windows 10. After few clicks Adobe Media Encoder freezes for a while. I have Ryzen 5800x, RADEON 5600XT Render in Premiere Pro it works. But Media Encoder didn't work with opencl. No reponse. Anyone know how to solve this problem?

I could raise my hand here, just one more among the many, asking what the hell is wrong with media encoder... to be met with the predictable questions regarding my end, or my system, or my project etc etc etc.... I've had it.. a quick google search will show thread upon thread upon thread of frustrated users. And adobe continues with the generic stupid replies...  The issue is on YOUR end adobe!!!! For those interested,.,. Im rendering 10 - 15 second clips,... and they're taking upto an hour each!!! using adobe 2020, rendering  from after effects. Just HD, no external plugins,.. and my system is well and truly up to task.. Ive purged AE, everything up to date. etc etc etc..  Surely,, Surely I'm not alone in reasonably expecting more from adobe support and development...? this issue goes back a long long way.. If the adobe subscription model isn't enough to move many away from adobe,, this is surely will. (these render times are now lite

Any one esle having this issue? I updated with 2021 updates and things are worse. I'm using media encoder and it failed once. A video that normally takes 30mins to render is freaking out. It says an hour and 30. Then speeds up and slows down. Who know's how long it's going to take and now I have to sit here and baby sit it. My computer was built for editing, yet I'm in a constant battle with Adobe to get through a project.    [Edited and moved by moderator to Media Encoder forum]

Hi!Is it possible to edit multiple videos at once?This is what I need: I work in an office and we daily make several videos. Since we are all in homeoffice now the videos are a bit too big (around 1.7gb). I need a program that edits them automatically with preset options so that I just upload the videos into the program, do some other work meanwhile and as soon the program has finished I have edited videos. I'm working for a theater company that is editing several one act plays for a festival. The source footage is .h264 (1080p, 4 Mbps). We have multiple editors who are each cutting a play. When they're done, they're exporting their final cut to .h264 (8 Mbps). Then, the plan was for me to put their .h264 final cuts into a sequence and export again to .h264 (8 Mbps).Are we losing quality each time we export to .h264?Since the final output will likely be viewed on computers and consumer TVs, the quality loss may be insignificant (even at these medium-low bit rates)?If not, I could put the editors' actual edited sequences into a single sequence and export that (so that the export is referencing the source footage).
