THis is an observation after many hours of paintstaking work late at night to try to produce a H264 Based Blu Ray disc through Encore 6.There is a thread on Encore 6 related to this Encore error code 3 vas file . Note it should say _ves fileIt is now clear Media Encoder 2018 version is broken. Encore 6 crashes every time reporting error message oin Author Script sessions _ves files on build.several people report the same problem.Today there is no way to produce a Blu Ray H264 based disc exported from Media Encoder 2018.Whilst Adobe may feel Blu Ray discs are dead (and are now legacy products) this problem with Premiere Pro /Media Encoder 2018 needs fixing as not all of us want to give Clients / Friends a media streaming version of our work.Adobe Engineering Team : PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS ISSUE AND FIX IT IN NEXT RELEASE OF PREMIERE PRO CC 2018 PACKAGED WITH MEDIA ENCODERMedia Encoder 2017 worked but it is not possible to import PP CC 2018 files into a Media Encoder 2017 ver
installed new 2019 CC versions yesterday and today have tried several times to render a h.264 out of AME from an AFX 1920x1080 comp. only effects are lumetri color adjustments. the AFX comp will render a Pro-res movie successfully from the AFX render cue but when i send the same comp to media encoder to do an h264 version it hangs within seconds. no apparent error messages, AME just stops. i'm on a I-mac with OS sierra 10.12.6, drivers for Nvidia are up to date.very frustrating because the h264 codecs no longer are available in the AFX render cue format options so i can't just render the h264 directly from AFX.
I use the "Publish" function a lot to Youtube.AME 2017 worked fine (and still does), however the new AME 2018 won't stay logged in to Youtube.I log the app into Youtube successfully and it says "Logged in". When I export a video, the upload instantly fails and the reason is "Not logged in".I can literally click on a preset (see all the tags and description info etc intact), click "Log In", it reports that it is indeed "logged in". I hit "Okay". If I then re-open the preset settings it says "not logged in"!I've tried re-syncing to CC and that had no affect either.I've tried different Youtube accounts, trashing the AME prefs etc. I logged out of Youtube on my still installed AME 2017 version just to be sure, AME 2018 still doesn't work. However, if I re-log the 2017 version back in to Youtube it still works just fine. It occurred to me their may be a conflict with two versions of AME being installed (even though the older version is "logged out"), but I don't want to uninstall the 2017 ve
Hi all, i have been using adobe after effects for a couple of months now to make 3 minute long videos for youtube channel. My first compositions (That i made on my Macbook Pro Retina 8RAM) took about 45 minutes to an hour to render in media encoder. But when i installed the last system update (mojave), a 3 minute composition took about 5 HOURS to render!!!!! So i had contact with apple care, and found out that suddenly my mac whas using a lot of cpu for other programs, when we fixed this, it decreesed the render time to 2 hours, wich is still way too much! soo, because i need these videos for my company, i desided to spend a lot of money to buy an iMAC PRO (32RAM) so i wouldnt have any trouble with rendering anymore. Than when i starded to render the same 3 minute composition that took 2 hours on my mac, IT TOOK 4 HOURS ON MY NEW IMAC PRO TO RENDER!!! this makes me very frustrated, because i specially spend 3000 euros more on a computer to improve the rendertime of adobe media en
Momentan habe ich das Problem, dass mein Adobe Media Encoder NICHT auf die hinzugabe von Kompositionen über After Effects annimmt. Es erscheint immer folgender Text:
I'm having the same issue since upgrading to Media Encoder CC 2018 a few days ago. Previously my 10 to 20 second videos were rendering in no time. Now the exact same videos are taking ages to render or not rendering at all.For me the main issue is that they take 5 minutes to begin rendering, and I frequently get 'Cannot read from source' errors, or Media Encoder just hangs. Prior to updating the software I had no issues.Software only or GPU Acceleration makes no difference.MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014)Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7Memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MBIntel Iris Pro 1536 MBAdobe Media Encoder CC 2018Comps created in After Effects CC 2018, which I updated at the same time.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have updated to Media Encoder 2018, but I'm still running Premiere Pro 2017 due to the audio sync issues with 2018. When I go to add something to the render queue in Premiere I get an error message that Media Encoder is not installed. I can render from"export," but not from "queue." Suggestions?
Adobe is constantly adding new features to their suite of CC applications. Why do we still have the same buggy, under-performing, non-adaptive rendering engine in Adobe Media Encoder / Premiere Pro?I have 3d rendering engines that use GPUs for rendering that literally blaze through renders that are magnitudes of orders of complexity beyond what I generally throw at Adobe Media Encoder. And yet, on a system with dual Xeon processors, dual Quadro M6000 GPUS, and 128gb of RAM, I am still stuck on Mercury Playback Engine Software Only and waiting nearly an hour to render a 30 second MP4.Someone needs to tell my twin Quadro M6000s that they just aren't GPUs; they aren't up to par or worthy to be noticed by the Mercury Playback Engine.Or maybe... just maybe... someone needs to re-write that antique from the ground up.Yes... I think that might be the actual solution. Perhaps grit your teeth, admit that this render engine is unwieldy, broken, and outdated and simply RE-WRITE IT; as opposed to co

Hi Everybody,I am trying to download the Free Trial for Media Encoder, once I click on the download it is meant to pop up/ open up on the Creative Cloud right? However there is no display tab for apps and no Media Encoder anywhere.Help would be very much appreciated. Many thanks in advance!
Hi,I'm having issues with the 2017 version of Media Encoder. To start, I exported my files from Adobe Premiere CC 2017 version. I have no problems with audio. Sound is there with the file(s). Everything looks good. Then, when I use the media encoder to change to another format, I get no audio at all. All of my clips from the new ME has no audio. I have cleaned the media cache from both Premiere and ME. I also re-installed Media Encoder 2017. So far, nothing has worked. Still no audio on files. Everything was fine with previous version. Any suggestions?
I keep encoding a file but after it says done I can not play the video. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I am currently rendering 2 Dynamic Link compositions, which were originally in premiere pro and are now in AME after some editing in after effects. All of my programs are up to date. I’ve used AME to render after effects compositions 3-4 times in the past with CC 2018 (I’m Now usingCC 2019). I had no problems with 2018, but now a 6 second clip (which contains some pretty heavy displacement map effects and motion tracking) has elapsed 22 hours in AME with a remaining 87 hours. I’ve searched lots of forums to no avail. I’m not on any deadline but this is insane. If anyone has any suggestions please help.
All of the H.264 presets are resulting in huge file sizes. I've been asked to reduce the file size of some videos, because they're stored on a server and are cumbersome. I am trying to use Adobe Media Encoder to compress all of them simultaneously. They're webinars, so they're only slides and audio. The video that I'm focusing on for an example is almost 5000MB even on the low bitrate preset. I need to get that down to under 400MB. What am I missing? Why the insane file size?
From where can I purchase or download the Adobe Media Encoder v7.2 application.I could see links but it is the latest version which doesn't support FLV
I can only assume this is due to settings that I am missing, but since AE dropped the ability to render to h264 (what I've always used) I've had to make the jump to Media Encoder. That's ok, I know ME is a way more robust tool for rendering, at least that is what I have been led to believe. This may all be moot... I am using Ray-traced 3d, maybe that just takes 10x longer as a rule. I have not done a side by side comparison.. well I cant since AE no longer supports h264.Anyway to my question. Can anybody provide some feedback as to the best settings to use when rendering motion graphics in the most versatile format (assumed to be h264)?I see that in AE the Bitrate Settings are in kbps. I'd normally set my number to 10,000 for a very clean and manageable output. In ME the default Bitrate is in mbps and there is a min and a max it's mine is now set to 5 and 10 respectively and my render time looks to be about 2 hours... better than the 7 hours it wanted with "match source"Any feedback is g
Hello. Dear experts, help pliz, here is my misfortune: In Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5.03 I save the sequence by pressing Ctrl + S, I press Ctrl + M to exit the Export Settings window, put the necessary settings in it and press the 'Queue' button. Adobe Media Encoder comes out, click 'Add', showing him the file in Adobe Premiere Pro, he thinks then he writes - Error Dynamic Link: It was not possible to connect to Adobe Premiere Pro. Check that Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Dynamic Link components installed. How to install Adobe Dynamic Link? What he lacks.Thank.Всем привет. Hi,Due to technical issues, my school wants us to avoid updating our CC (especially Premiere Pro and After Effects) to 2019 versions on our personal computers. I do 50% of my work on my school's devices, which compels me to keep Premiere Pro and AE on their 2018 version. But because AME 2019 supports Apple ProRes 422 export for Windows, it would help me so much I hesitate to update it, but I wonder if it will keep working correctly if I don't update my other softwares.
Tried exporting a 1 hour HD pro res QT file to HD mp4. Media Encoder slow as hell. Estimate job time reads at 1 hour and 20 minutes and it crawls through and eventually hangs about 20% of the way though. Tried updating 2019 and also tried using 2018 Media Encoder. I eventually resorted to opening my old Media encoder 5.5 which is speeding through the encode in 40 minutes. Perhaps Adobe know something about this glitch. My systemLate 2013 Mac 32 gigs RAMMAC OS 10.13.4
I need to use CC 2014 because I'm running that version of AE. When I look at the 'previous versions' in the CC app, it only offers CC 2017 and CC. How can I get CC 2014?
Scenario:I’ve made a 10 second video in After Effects. A music track runs underneath it, the length of the video. I cut the video into 3 segments (cut at 3:24 and 6:12), then export the 3 segments using Media Encoder. I intend to use the segments in a third party program, to sequence them together again.Export settings:H.264, 25fps, audio format: AAC, 48000Hz, stereo, high quality, 320kbps, precedence: bitrateIssue:There’s a noticeable audio gap where the cuts happen, after the videos are stitched back together. Using my third party program or even After Effects or any other video editing program. Identified cause:The segments export from Media Encoder missing their last frame of audio. The waveform isn’t preserved either side of the cut. If I export with the MPEG audio format instead of AAC, the waveform looks different again, but there is still an audio gap, just from the start of the segments.Solution:???I could export the original video without audio, and only add audio when I stit

Using Neat Video Reduce Noise, and Fieldskit Deinterlacer, Lumetri. I know that Neat Video slows the job down 4-5x, and for this content, that is acceptable. However, when I leave the computer unattended for 2-3 hours, the job slows *way* down and "Remaining" climbs past 24 hours. When I return to the computer and start working on it, speed returns to its normal crawl.I set the Energy Saver "Turn Display off after" to "Never". Screensaver was set to go off after 1 hour (now at Never).GPU usage seems to be pinned around 50%. Renderer set to MPE-OpenCL.There's a job just finishing up as I type that has taken over 17 hours to render, when it should've taken around 4 (I know, 61 minutes of 720x486 video should be faster than real-time under normal circumstances). Hello, hopefully someone can help. I recently finished going through 7 videos each an hour or so long and I've made 171 subclips from the those videos in premiere. When select them all and hit export media, all the normal screens come up, it opens media encoder and premiere shows that it is exporting. But only 3 of the 171 subclips load into the queue. I can't think of what I could have done wrong, any suggestions would be amazing. Thank youRoss Campbell
Hello, I've been using adobe creative suite professionally for 4 years now and I regularly use Media Encoder for workflow. After updating to the 2019 version, I cannot do any work while Media Encoder is operating because the rest of my operations come to a complete halt. I've never experienced Media Encoder slowing the rest of my computer until this most recent update. I'm exporting in YouTube 1080p. 29.97 fps H.264Anyone got a solution?
