Hello,I have lost the option to use TS multiplexer in the 2018 AME. I was using version 2017.1.2 (Build 11.1.2.35) AME for a years. My preset is based on a H.264 Blu-ray format. My presets for daily workflow have migrated to AME 2018. However, some of my presets no longer encode a .m2t file. They are demuxed .wav and .m4v. I need to encode .m2t files for my media server. What has changed and why? Any help would be great. I can email you my preset to make this clear if need be. Thank you!
To my dismay when I activated an Adobe font for a Premiere Pro project title it cancelled, STOPPED the render in Media Encoder on another project I was doing in the background! I have just lost a 5 hour render. Wow, that is a bug! I simply wanted to type in a Premiere title in the Nobel font like I had seen in Acrobat PDF. The font was not available on my system so I went to activate it in my Creative Cloud. It then crashed Media Encoder!
So this is the specs that I need a preset file for but I am having an issue finding the settings for this. Specifically the GOP settings and the video stream type. I am not sure if Media Encoder is capable of this level of control or not.. The source files are mp4 and need to be converted to mpeg2, any help/suggestion is welcome. Thanks!!
Hello! I've been running into the error code "-1609629695" on and off recently (solved it previously by recording the playback in full resolution and adding that mp4 to my main composition in ae) but this time it completely freezes my computer. Here are my system specs: i5 9400Nvidia RTX 2060 Super16GB DDR4 I've already tried reinstalling AE and AME, updating them to the latest versions, and copy-pasting everything into a new composition.
My memory isn't what it used to be, but it seems to me that I converted some MOV files to MP4 just a couple of days ago. Why does it happen now that when I try to do this I get the message "the source compression type is not supported". Really? What with the current deprecation of MOVs, isn't there a huge demand for converting them to MP4s? Is there something I'm doing wrong?
Literally, I have to duplicate the same export 3-4 times before it finally successfully exports. I'm waiting so long for something to export, and then it fails, wasting all of my time. Please fix this issue, it's getting really annoying at this point.
Hi everyone, I am unable to export my video on Adobe Premiere Rush (not Adobe Premiere Pro) when I try to an error message comes up, please see the image below. I was using version 1.5.20 and it should be up to date. I have had to install an older version to export.
Hi everyone, I rendered an image sequence with the media encoder and wanted to rerender only frame 300 - 500. Unfortunately, the new rendered sequence is always starting at frame 0000 and not 0300. Is there any trick how to change it? Thanks a lot for your helpAnna
Hello!I've been having an issue with AME where the render is very off from the preview in AE. I will have my video edited just the way I want it, but then when the render is completed, the final product is completely off from the preview. I'm simply adding captions to a very short video (under two minutes), but the words are off from the audio every time. I've tried restarting my computer and closing out the programs and changing a few things in the edit, but nothing is working. I think perhaps the visual got sped up where the audio stayed the same? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
every time i try to export, no matter the format or what not, it crashes on exactly the same frame each time. im guessing that frame is corrupt or something but i have no idea how to fix it and its driving me mad. help me before i go insane please i am on windows 10 using the CC 2019 version.
In my PDFs, I want to either embed or link to video clips that readers can study one frame at a time (they're short sign language videos where one must look for subtle events). So far the only standard video viewing app with this capability that I know of is Quicktime, but this is now deprecated, requiring lots of time-consuming workarounds on my part. If there's another video viewing app that can accomplish frame-by-frame viewing, my life would be easier since I could just tell my readers to make that the default for MP4s (although presumably I'd have to link to it in PDFs instead of embedding it). Thanks.
Hello,I'm having trouble exporting .H264 files in Media Encoder. It just sits blank and won't encode anything. The last couple of days, it would encode, but develop a red MEDIA OFFLINE screen for the first 30 seconds of the video, when that would never be the case before. Over the last few days I've encountered several issues wth Media Encoder. Was hoping the latest update would remedy that. May also be an issue with the Dynamic Link server. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
I have installed the webm plugin from fnord and it appears in the media encoder, however the option to include the alpha channel doesn't seem to work. I have no idea why. I use OSx 10.14.6 Mojave Premiere Pro v14.3.2Media Encoder v14.3.1 I've spent 2 days trying to find a solution!!!Can anybody help please? Why is webm not an option included with Adobe Media Encoder in the first place?
I installed huge pack of plugins for AE but I don't need them in Media Encoder as it's loading for too long with plugins

The timecode the encoding fails at and the file type I export as doesn't seem to matter as far as errors go. I've tried it with and without graphical acceleration. It doesn't seem to make any difference as to when it fails, although with the software only it seems to fail later. I've looked through the forums as seemingly similar errors but I don't think I've seen a post with this exact error number, so I'm hoping someone who can properly read the error code can give me some direction as to what to do as trying blindly in the dark has already eaten a day of tim
I bring an AE file into Media Encoder, with Export set to “Match Source - High bitrate.” The Estimated File Size is 85 MB. If I then lower Width and Height settings to half size (2560x1440 down to 1280x720), the Estimated File Size stays the same. Shouldn’t it reduce to about 25% of the original size, down to about 20 MB? Here’s the QT Inspector info on both movies: test hi.mp4 Source: /Volumes/1 work/test hi.mp4Format: H.264 HD (1-1-1)Stereo (L R), AAC, 48000 HzResolution: 2560 x 1440, 16:9Encoded FPS: 29.97Data Size: 99.4 MBData Rate: 11.30 Mbit/sCurrent Size: 1811 x 1019 (Scaled 0.71x) test lo.mp4 Source: /Volumes/1 work/test lo.mp4Format: H.264 HD (1-1-1)Stereo (L R), AAC, 48000 HzResolution: 1280 x 720, 16:9Encoded FPS: 29.97Data Size: 99.3 MBData Rate: 11.30 Mbit/sCurrent Size: 906 x 510 (Scaled 0.71x) Thanks.
I have about ten 30-second AE composition to render in gopro cineform alpha. Normally it takes 30 minutes. Why for two days 1 file of 30 seconds take me a minimum of 5h ????? It's not good at all, I pay 60 euros per month !!! I'm two days late on the project! What's the problem ?
I have a set of WAV files loaded that I want to convert to MP3. I select verious choices of presets under the Audio heading that say MP3 but everyone lists the resulting file extension in the Queue as MP4. And sure enough, they convert to MP4, but every time you play them you see a (black) video window. You do hear them, but I don't want a window to open every time. Why can't it convert to MP3 if I ask for MP3?
Hi there - hope you all are well.I have at little problem uploading encodet videofiles via the Adobe Media Encoder publish FTP option.I live in Denmark so we have som special Danish letters æ ø and å (hope you can see them).Uploading files to a Synology server changes these letters. Normally I would just change the characeter set in my ftp client from UTF-8 to ISO-8859-1, but I can't see where I can do that on the FTP option in Adobe Media Encoder. The Synology is set to Danish characterset. Is there any way to do that ?Hope you are well and healthy.Best regardsClaus Thalwitzer, Copenhagen, Denmark
Happens on several different versions. I'm on lastest now and still happening. It's not everytime, I'd say one every three or four times it will crash. Can't find any log or dump files for that, so I'm blind here. Already trying emptying Media Core folder to remove any plugin interference, but nothing. Any ideas?
when i download webm from fnordware it does not show up in my encoder at all but if i use the extension via adobe it shows up but since it's not the latest version "include alpha channel" is not available. i have literally been trying to figure this out for hours and have tried everything i possibly can. i've uninstalled webm, Ae, Me...went to older versions...reinstalled...everything i try has had the same outcome.
Media Encoder can’t open. The following warning appears: “Adobe Media Encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue.”
Whenever I try converting from MOV (Iphone footage) to MP4 on AME the videos keep showing up black but when convert on Adobe Premiere it works fine please help me!!
I would like to show MOV files in a PDF. They're videos of deaf sign language ASL) which readers of the PDF, who are linguists, will want to watch one frame at a time, hence my choice of MOV. This used to be possible till someone found a security hole in MOV files, causing Adobe to make it difficult to embed them, and even then users have to express their assent on each one - now apparently not just once per PDF but again for each and every MOV file individually, at least if one links to them (I haven't yet tested embedding). Previous versions worked okay with H.264 but I had to say goodbye to one frame at a time... And now I read that it can show MOV files that are H.264 on the insides, so to speak. So what I'm hoping is that I'll be able to get the MOV interface (and frame-by-frame viewing) with no blocks in the path put there by Adobe. But how to I do that in Adobe Media Encoder? Is there a preset for it? (Note that I'm not talking about just changing a MO
I selected my scratch disc but it keeps exporting to the wrong hard drive. Why doesn't Adobe make it simple and make all saved data under same tab in menu??
