Adobe Media Encoder

Adobe can start Media Encoder for IOS and Android devices. It will be a instant popular in the mobile platform. Mainly, it will be helpful for the IOS users to convert files and stuffs coming form Android and Windows 10 devices cuz I feel IOS and MAC are not universal compatible with a wide range of apps and extensions. Hi there. I'm running Premiere Pro 2020 and Media Encoder on a Mac running OS Catalina 10.15.5   I upgraded both Premiere Pro and Media Encoder earlier this week as ME was not launching. I also updated to latest OS. Now when I export from Premiere, Media Encoder launches but doesn't do anything.    Am currently exporting manually from Premiere so working at a snails pace here. Hi, I try to transcode ProRes 4444 8K HDR10 to h265 - but after select high10 Hardware acceleration switch to Software. What GPU needed for HW transcode o High10?my HW:Asus X99-E WSi7-695096Gb RAM1GPU 1080Ti2GPU 1080Ti10GbeAlso i have 3GPU - 1080Ti but not imstalled

So how is there not an Auto Shut Down feature for Adobe Media Encoder yet? We're on the 2017 version and still nothing?I don't want to leave my laptop on all night. Can we please get a Auto Shutdown option so that it forces the computer to shutdown after all the projects are finished encoding.And also a startup log to show that everything went successful the next time we boot up.

Hello, I am working on a project in After Effects for my sister and I need Media Encoder to send it from my laptop to my phone in a small file size but Adobe Media Encoder 2020 will not open! I have tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling Media Encoder directly from Creative Cloud Desktop and it will not open and she wants it by the end of today. Please help me. 

I have 40 clips. All of them are the same codec, bitrate, etc. I want to stitch them all together - but I don't want to recompress / re-encode. Is there a way to do that? It's a super long video so the render is taking forever. Ideas?

I tried with 0.9 Mbps, 0.6, 0.4.. it's still the same.When I set it to 1 Mbps and 1.1 Mbps, it exported correctly. I never get this problem in the previous version of AME.Why does it happen and is there a way to fix this? I'm experiencing the EXACT same problem. I have a few webinars that range from 40 minutes to 80 minutes in length. As you can imagine, the difference between 0,5mbps and 3mbps second is 500MB vs 3GB.I have tried editing and exporting at different resolutions incase there is a standard I'm not conforming to, but it's made difference at all. Just this morning, I upgraded to the latest version of Media encder (v14.3 Build 39) an

Even though the CC panel says "Will work on this computer" - its checked, I still cannot open the app.  Adobe - what's the problem?

As stated, I can't even get the program to open. I've tried numerous times including restarting my machine. Nothing. Having to use an old version (13.1.5) to do my work When I try to run the new 'Me' the icon bounces, then eventually stops. Hi there,  I'm trying to encode a timeline of prores4444 footage to a h264 and up till yesterday this worked fine. Now, suddenly I'm getting stranger render mistakes on the sides of some frames in the video. No matter what export settings I use, this glitches pop up in 3 to 4 frames of the clip (see left side of the frame on the attached image).  Does anyone have a idea why this is happening? Again, yesterday I had no trouble at all making an export. Hope someone can help out.  

I am exporting 5 sequences at a time - just video files, no effects or any adjustments in the native PP sequence. It completes each sequence, but everytime it doesn't move on to the next one - I have to manually pause the queue, and then start it again for it to move on. Any ideas? Mac Pro (Late 2013) runnng Catalina.Encoder v14.2 and PP v 14.2

The lastest update has completely haulted my workflow. AME was estimated to take 2 hours to render a 5 second HD MOV from AE.The same clip has now taking over 40mins to render straight out of AE.  For reference; the clip features a looping PNG sequence of animated text, with a drop shadow effect.And one image with a non animated grain effect added, that eases into a scale up.Clips of similar size and complexitiy took less than a minute to render before the upgrade.  Furthermore when I go to stop or pause my queue in AME it crashes the whole program.  

I'm working on a super high res project - 10320x1080, for a widescreen projection at a live event. Working on the project in After Effects, I sent my composition to Media Encoder queue. Once in AME, I tried exporting as MOV, 264, 265, HAP (using AfterCodec addon). Everything fails. Sometimes the result is an audio track with no video, and other times it fails to render at all. I tried expoting from AE render as an AVI, and then importing into AME, and had the same result. I tried lower resolution files, and those worked fine. Working solely in AE, I was able to export the full resolution file as h265 using the AfterCodec plugin as expected. Worked fine. Not sure why nothing seems to work in AME, because that's the way I prefer to work.

Hi guys, hope someone can help me out with this issue that I'm having. My workflow is as follow:Importing footages (4k H.264 from Sony a7iii) into Premeiere (with Ingest setting to Transcode > Apple Pro Res)As soon as the import in Premiere is done, Media Encoder starts itself up to start the transcode.But it CRASHES right before it can add the footages into the Queue.  Any solutions?Thanks in advance

When I try to leave various videos encoding from Premiere Pro on Media Encoder and normally the first will encode and export but after that, after a few hours it just crashes. I'm trying to queue a video from Premier Pro. AME launches, but the video never shows in the AME queue. Using AME 14.2, Premier Pro 41.3 Build 38. This used to work, but I think actually the issue cropped up shortly before the latest application releases I got. The problem persists with the current ones.  How can I troubleshoot this annoying problem? 

When I'm encoding video files the Media Encoder app uses over 300% of the CPU according to my task window. Therefore my Macbook becomes slow, heats up and eventually crashes. Is there any way to limit the percentage of CPU Media Encoder can use?

Hey guys, i have a big YouTube channel and cant render some projects.I worked on them for a long time and it’s very disappointing.When I mounted a video in After Effects, I try to render it in AME, after which I get an "The project could not be opened" error.It works with half of the projects, some quietly opens and renders, and some do not want to open!Projects are essentially no different, the same effects, templates, etc.The version of AE and AME are the same, 2020. The language is also the same, both in English.Already covered all the forums and the entire Internet and still could not find a solution to the problem. Your help is very necessary!   

Hi,I am having issues trying to render to h.264 a 4416x1780 comp from After Effects.A few months ago I was able to do this (with h.264) before but now it limits my render to 4k max (4096px) Tried h.265 (i was under the impression that this codec was meant for larger sizes) but the render doesn't even start. It just goes to "failed" and displays a "!" symbol. I know can render in ProRes and convert with Handbrake but I was wondering if anyone has any pointers to do it directly in Adobe Media Encoder without the extra steps. As I need the final product to be an h264 or h265 mp4 file. PS I am running the latest versions of all the Adobe products as of this date, with terabytes of free space, on an iMac Pro. Thank you!

I've spent a week using Adobe Media Encoder to perform basic tasks which I used Premiere for and the amount of time saved has been significant. Therefore, I'd like to know if the following can be done in Media Encoder in a single encoding session: Trim and stitch simulatenously. For instance, I have A.mp4 and B.mp4. I'd like to remove 1 minute from the end of A.mp4 and 1 minute from the beginning of B.mp4 before stitching them together into one video file in their alphebetical sequence. The settings window doesn't allow cutting a clip in the middle. Thanks in advance.
