1. Version of the app Tested in v24.6.1 and in the Beta2. Platform and OS versionTested on Windows 10, MacOS 14 and MacOS 15 (Intel and M1)3. Basic steps to reproduce the problemIn Premiere - import a multi-channel audio fileTested with Polywav 32bit-float 48000 Hz .WAV filesAdd a resource heavy vst/vst3 as a track effect to one channelex. Supertone Clear or Izotope RX Dialogue IsolateSend to Media Encoder and render4. Expected resultAll tracks in sync with the FX applied5. Actual resultThe FX is applied, but the track is delayed - usually by less than a frame's length Hi, I've been running into issues when trying to export sequences that use resource heavy audio plugins. Playback and file export via Premiere Pro are in sync, so this seems to be an isolated issue with AME. Of course it's possible to solo/export the track as a workaround or to simply render via Premiere - but for batch renders this can become very tedious. Thanks,Sean
Hello, I was working with Adobe Animate CC 2020 and tried to export an mp4 through media encoder (the only way I can export an mp4 from the app) and it opened AME, but the file never showed up in the queue window as if I'd normally opened AME without exporting anything. This had never happened before, and I didn't install any updates for my computer or the apps themselves since I had last successfully exported an mp4 through AME. I've spent the last couple hours doing everything from updating my computer (a Macbook Pro 2017, currently running on macOS Catalina but as I'm writing this I'm downloading macOS Big Sur to see if it fixes it somehow) to updating AME and Animate to their most recent 2021 versions, messing with and eventually resetting the settings in both (and testing it all throughout to reach the same result, a blank queue), uninstalling and reinstalling both apps, killing dynamiclinkmanager activity (recommended in a seperate article) and everything in between to try and fi
this is hardly a new idea as I can see threads discusssing this going back years on Adobe's forums, but those threads are locked and closed, and the problem hasn't been solved so I'm here to ask again: I need media encoder to send me a text or an email when it's done so I can have a life please. Get it done.
For videos with a transparent background, you can easily export small, kb-sized WebM videos for Chrome and Firefox browsers. Unfortunately, Safari does not support transparent WebM videos and requires the MOV format in the H.265 HEVC codec. Media Encoder cannot export this format, and the only workaround I know is to use Apple Compressor software.Ideally, it would be more streamlined if everything could be handled in Media Encoder. Is there any planned update to support this?
Hi, I have a problem when rendering to mp4. It looks like a bevel or shadow effect and it appears between two colors with high contrast. I've tried with multiple options changed, every time it appears. How can I avoid that effect?
Why? It is completely random and often slows my process down to a halt. MacMini M2 pro chip, 16 gigs of ram. Tons of drive space.
I am having the worst experience with AME. Its a 16 second video, that I am already 11 minutes into encoding and I'm not even 20% finished with it... On a 16 second video!!! There is no way that AME should ever take this long for a 16 second video. I've also had my software crash twice on me, and Pr isn't doing any better. I'm using a MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro, 16GB Ram, and I'm using version 23.0.1 for AME and 23.0.0 for Pr. Any ideas on how to fix this? I will post a screen shot below... Thanks for the help!
I have completed a project in premiere pro 24.6.2. I have rendered out the project using 1920x1080 and 29.97fps. When I export to Media Encoder, I use the H264 format and check to ensure that the settings are still the same. The preview shows the entire video. However, when Media Encoder renders the clip, it looks more like 1920x540, clipping the lower half of the video. I've deleted media encoder, reinstalled, checked for updates in all the adobe programs, migrated the files onto the local computer, etc. I've spent a week on forums and rerendering a 5 minute video to no resolve. I'm not seeing any error logs. I've tried other formats and I still get the same result. I've verified that its importing in a 1920x1080 format, but everything is rendering in what appears about 1920x540, though encoder says otherwise. In all my years of using premiere pro and media encoder, I've never had this much problem out of the software. I'm using Windows 11. Any help would be much appreiciated.
If a file is put in Queue and INGEST is set to do MD5, will an error show up if something goes wrong or do you need to go to FILE>ERROR or use some 3rd party app to see if the comparison went well.? Thanks!
I was trying to export something through After effects and it was taking forever and usually, it was going faster. Then I switched to Adobe Media Encoder to work on it while it rendered. Now they are both slow and weirldy Media Encoder is slightly better because I could at least get some part of the export when it takes to long because in after effects if its partially exported and crashes you cant even use the small bit that is exported. I am very disappointed in this whole process. Its been rendering for 30 hours and now it says its gonna take another 30 hours to complete. Mind you this is for a 27 second clip with minor to effects.
I am trying to render a one hour podcast. had no issues rendering 10, 15, 20, 30 min videos. Now all of a sudden, ME is dropping the ball. Once I start to export in ME, it will do 50% and then stop. And it will stop for HOURS. Like 6-10+ hours. Just sit there. No real CPU activity, nothing. Then it will randomly fire up and finish the project. #3 camera edited sequence, color correction, Beauty Box filter, and that is about it. A lower third logo, but nothing really graphics heavy at all throughout the whole project. This machine should BLAZE through that export, but no. Even without the pause, it is still taking TWICE as long as the length of playback. 1hr20m podcast, is taking 3 hours on remaining time. Then add in a 6-10 hour break in there, you can imagine it is bery frustrating. I mean, there is no CPU acitvity, but could something be processing in the backround on that i am not noticing? &n
Premiere PRO: 24.1.0 (Build 85)Media Encoder: 24.1 (Build 68)Windows 11 version 23H2 (KB5043076) After sending a file from a Premiere Pro project to Media Encoder for rendering and clicking on the start button to start the rendering, the Media Encoder does not proceed with the task. No rendering occurs. We uninstalled and reinstalled the PP and ME software and tried disabling ESET antivirus but still were not able to get this to work. This has functioned before but not for the last two weeks. The only change we can think of is the Windows OS update that might have caused this issue. If no fixes are available for this, where can I find an older version of PP and ME? We have a user running PP version 15.4.0. and we would like the installation file for that version. Thank you,
Hiya - be great if ME watch folders/set them up to be able trim 10secs off the front or back end of a file. Sorry if this has been discussed beforeBe good to hear everyoneones thoughtsCheers
I have an After Effects project outputting to DPX. When I render it out of Media Encoder it give me a 48 to 60 hour render time, whereas rendering directly in After Effects it is under 10 hours. The output sttings as far as I can tell are identical. Rendering directly in After Effects is showing 40% PCU usage, but Media Encoder is showing about 5%, so my best guess is that Multi-Frame rendering isn't working correctly in Media Encoder. Running AE 2024 (24.6.2) and ME 2024 (24.6.1) on Windows. Source files and render target are over the network, but the same config is used for AE and ME, so have mostly ruled that out. Anyone had a similar experience? Or have any tips for troubleshooting ME? I much prefer to render out of ME so that AE is tied up for the whole render.
can you setup watch folders to trim 10secs off the front and back end of a file thanks
So I send my Premiere-timeline to Media encoder to simultaneously export a proresmov and a h264. Afterwards, I sort my files in explorer in creation date - only to see that th mov is made 3 days into the future. See attached image, the exports were made on may 25th...
A week ago, I discussed about how I transfered everything from my old computer to my new one and how when I put the same export setting on my old one to the new one it kept failing. The export settings I put on Adobe Animate and Media Encoder are the exact same. For example, (Format:H.264, Present: Default AME). In Media Encoder, I change the present to High Quality 720p HD. When rendering, it kept failing and I tried earlier to get help, but the last guy told be to use hardware encoding. Did that, but I had to use another way to get that on my screen because keyboard shortcuts don't work on my computer. At this point, should I just get the latest version or is there another solution?Apps used:Adobe Media Encoder 2022Adobe Animate 2022
Hello, I have a bunch of AE projects to export and I've set them in que in ME to render over night. To my suprise they did not finnish. I checked the logs and it needs 4-5h for one project to render. But then I realised that ME isn't using the full GPU or CPU power. Any thoughts what I have set wrong or,..... (I have the lates drivers, updates,.. CUDA set in AE, PP and ME,...) Thanks
Status of the files in the queue list are presumably labeled "ready" and "done" in English, but in Swedish someone has chosen words that are so close to each other, making them somewhat confusing – "klar" and "färdig" can be used interchangeably. Instead, change "ready – klar" to "redo"and that way you could leave "done – färdig" or maybe change it to "genomförd".
I'm making an animated GIF and I can't even control the file size.I speak on behalf of most customers of Adobe Media Encoder when I say we want control over how video formats are encoded. You pitch AME to be a professional tool, with more features than your free competitors, yet I can't even see an estimate of the file size when converting to an animated gif, let alone change the compression ratio. If you want to catch up with 2023, take a look at open source freeware 'Screen 2 gif' which really makes me wonder why I pay for AME. It's a very different app, but more reliable and does the job it set out to do much better. I can control so much more HOW it encodes - which at the end of the day, is the ONE job AME has. I need to create a gif for Twitter, and limit is 15mb. AME gives me literally no option to make my very short, simple, low res, minimal colours gif a smaller size. Literally zero control over compression. Please just speak to us about how we want to convert videos a
I found a link on a forum for the HAP encoder version 1.2.0. I used it to encode a file but the audio doesn't show up in the HAP encoded file. I used a ProRes HQ encoded file to convert to an Hap Q encoded file. When I check the audio pannel in Media Encoder it says "No applicable properties".
Porfavor para cuando esta funcion para Media Encoder poner para elegir la portada del video de inicio especialmente para que se vea al enviar por whatsapp por ejemplo Aclaro que CapCut tiene y es gratis
Would love a way to collapse all of the render queue, like you can in the bins for Preimere.Option click I believe.Sometimes with proxies I have a ton to go through and its much easier to keep tabs or see progress fast when all are collapsed.Just an idea that seems pretty easy to implement.
