So a few days ago i download adobe premiere and CC 2017 and media encoder, at first I could import my mp4 files with no problem abd export them as h.264 format with no problem. But now I can't import mp4 files at all, it only imports the audio. I converted all my files to AVI and i finally could import them but whenever i tried to export it i got the following error: - Encoding Time: 00:00:0001/16/2017 09:45:15 PM : Encoding Failed------------------------------------------------------------Export ErrorError compiling movie.Export ErrorFailed to create encoder.Writing with exporter: H.264Writing to file: \\?\D:\test\s01.mp4Writing file type: H264Around timecode: 00;00;00;00Component: H.264 of type ExporterSelector: 9Error code: 24------------------------------------------------------------ - Encoding Time: 00:00:0001/16/2017 09:55:16 PM : Encoding Failed------------------------------------------------------------Export ErrorError compiling movie.Export ErrorFailed to create encode
I've probably just made a stupid mistake with this, but I've just finished exporting my animation into a video and had ticked the box saying to open it in AME once it's finished but when I did it just loaded forever. I left it for an hour or two and nothing changed so I reopened AME and tried to import the .mov file into the queue by going through the Local Drive part and the same thing happened:Is there something I should be doing or am I just impatient?
Hello!Pardon my ignorance.I transcode an MP3 to any other format that I can think of with encoder, and the results "skip" when played back in VLC, Quicktime player or on a Premiere timeline ... The original played fine in VLC and Quicktime, but stutters, or Skips in Premiere ... (which is why I am trying to covet the file ..)My gratitude to anyone who can give me a helping hand ..=mark=Email address removed by Moderator
Once upon a time I put too many things in the queue, and now, despite never having saved the queue, the queue is always stuffed with the same 28 vids and the reminder of the day four of them failed and one stopped. Can I clear a queue once and for all? Even when I remove everything, they reappear when I next open AME. I haven't gotten anything working since I overwhelmed the queue, so I'm hoping an AME enema would help. Thanks in advance,
I used to be able to export files from Premiere by choosing the Queue option. After my last update, Premiere now tells me I don't have Media Encoder - when clearly I do.What's the fix guys? Thanks.Chummy
Hi, friends! I have the following trouble. Working with After Effects 2017 (Creative Cloud 2017), rendering sequence of 1:05 min. in Media Encoder. When render goes for around 90-99% (almost to the end), Media Encoder stops working and system message about program termination appears, but Media Encoder doesn't report any certain problem. This problem occurs when rendering in Full HD in Media Encoder. When rendering in Half Quality in Media Encoder or rendering in default After Effects render in Full HD, there is no such a problem, works well. Any ideas?Working on Intel core I7 5820k, GeForce GTX 980, 32 Gb Ram DDR 4, win 10.Hope you are able to help me or have an idea, how to solve the issue. Thanks!
Not sure how you do this? I had 15 separate DPX file sequences in one folder, but I had to select each one separately to import one at a time. Over, and over. Can I batch import this?
I just switched from a Mac to a PC and I am having trouble encoding videos into Apple ProRes. I tried downloading all different versions of QuickTime but I need help. Any answers?
Hi people, is there possibility to export wav format to mxf without video ? Thanks for the answer .
My R9 390 is not working with creative cloud! I can't use open CL. Any help???
Hi everyone,We have new ProRes output presets available for Media Encoder CC. You can download the presets here While the new presets do not add new functionality to Media Encoder, they do provide added convenience. By definition, these presets are for use on Mac OS. If you are on Mac OS X 10.8, or 10.9, the ProRes codecs come installed with your operating system. If you are using Mac OS X 10.7, you will need to install one of the Apple Pro apps (Final Cut Pro, Motion, Compressor, etc.) for the presets to function correctly. Here’s what’s new with the Media Encoder CC ProRes presets:Preset names have been updated to say "SD" (instead of “DV")The Field Order of PAL SD presets changed from "Lower" to "Upper"Frame Size of NTSC SD presets changed from 720x480 to 720x486. This is based on Apple's ProRes specifications. If 720x480 versions are needed you can create your own User presets with these settings.Enhanced support for multi-track audio sources. New "Audio Track Layout" and "Channel
I have a video that is 1:41 minutes in length. I am exporting it as an MPEG2-DVD file. When it finishes exporting the final video length is 06:26 and it appears that encoder has added additional time to it by adding a black screen at the end. The audio, however, is the original length, 1:41. I cannot figure out why it's doing this or how to fix it. The settings I have for the DVD are the same as I've always had them and have worked great until today. I have had this problem before and managed to fix it but can't remember what I did. And this only seems to happen when exporting as an MPEG formatted video. I have exported this same video has an H264 and don't have any issues. I'm stumped and would love to get to the bottom of this as quickly as possible because a client is waiting for this video. Below is screenshot of my MPEG2-DVD settings and a screengrab of the QT video with the 6:26 time code on the bottom. Also, in Media Encoder my Renderer is set to Mercury Playback Engine Software
Hi!I'm working on a output workflow with watch folders (one for video, one for img sequences). I have 3 outputs for each media in the watch folders (with crop & encoding). It works well with videos, but with img sequences, it only works for the 1st output. the others 2 don't work because AME move the source before completing all the outputs (it should do it after the 3 outputs are done, but do it after the 1st, why??)If someone know how to avoid to remove the files after completion, or understand why the problem only occurs with img sequences, I will be saved!Thank you in advance!
I have been using the same basic workflow for the last couple of years with Premiere Pro and AME and after the recent update to CC 2017.1 AME is consistantly freezing part way through encoding. In Premiere Pro -I import several 4K clips into my project with a separate audio fileCopy the clips and the audio file into the timelineSynch the audio to the videoEdit the video, then add adjustments, transitions, watermarks, titles, etcSet the start and end points for the final videoSave the projectExport videoQueue video to open AMECreate three output streams using AME presetsAndroid Phone 320x240 23.976Android Phone 640x360 Widescreen 23,976Android Tablet 1080p 23.976Start the encodingUp until the the recent update, I never had issues with this basic workflow. Since the update, AME completely freezes and lock up my computer completely (have to do a hard restart) approx. 1/4 - 1/2 way through the encoding (at different points each time.) Note that if i encode the streams one at a time with the
The Creative Cloud app only goes back to version 8. We need version 7 (at least) for flv export. I know you think this is an "obsolete" feature, but it is very useful for Animate's timeline embedding functionality. Is it possible for me, as a creative cloud member, to download Media Encoder 7?
Hello,Encoder is not recognising the audio on my source file and it is definitely there.Encode settings are default - H.264 Match source - High bitrateI recently received a new laptop and IT installed Adobe CC 2017. Are there any import settings I need to change.
hi guys i try to export on encoder and the videos keep crashing o exports wrong with diferent settings an many sequeces
It's an absurd that there is no Animated GIF option in the Media Encoder for MAC OS computers..Does really Adobe imagine that the work around solution using photoshop is serious?I would say it's a Lazy sloppy solutionIts's time consuming and simply involving many steps. So really, Adobe thinks that in a hard quick pace environment of creative businesses this can be seen asa solution? It's Surreal and it exposes how Adobe is not concerned at all.RIDICULOUS to say the least..
Hey guys,So I've been encoding this 16 minute video using H.264 format, 29.97 fps, vbr 2 pass, target and max 16 mbps. The last three times it finished rendering and when I try to play it in Windows Media Player it will just stop after 2:30 min. The properties of the file still say 16 min, but even when I try uploading to youtube it will only load the 2:30 min video. I've been working on encoding this for 9 hours now, can someone please help me?
Hi guys a try to export in encoder and the videos keep crashing and go wrong, i try diferentes sequeces and many videos

Hello!I'm using the version CS6 (in both Premiere and Media Encoder)Sometimes I put a voice clip and a music file "one above the other" in a Premiere project, so that they sound at the same time (something like this, don't pay attention to the language haha):...But my problem is that Media Encoder sometimes makes both of them sound, and sometimes it makes only the voice sound; in the final exported video.I literally just exported the video twice, and the first time the music didn't sound but the second time it did...I have no idea what's going on, am I doing something wrong?Hope you can help me out because this really is a problem, since exporting the video takes quite a long time. Thanks!!
hey guys,I stopped my rendering for few minutes and wanted to continue the rendering. It continued for a few seconds and now it doesnt move on.and the estimated time is rising and rising. wtf happened?
Hi experts, I have a question about converting HEVC to H.264 format. The original video is HEVC, 4096x4096, 29.97 fps. I want to convert it to H.264 with the same resolution and fps. But the default converted size is 2304x2304, and seems if I adjust settings manually, the maximal resolution can be set to 3068x3068. It will show a "invalid framesize/framerate for this level" error message if I continue to enlarge it. How can that be and what should I do if I just want to convert the format and keep the same resolution and fps? Thanks a lot.
Every time I upload footage into my media encoder, it doesn't register the source to have any footage. How can I fix these preset issues?
