Hello, I have been using a Premiere pro, and media encoder, with sometimes updating the version, for more than four years. I didn't have encountered this kinds of problem and I need some help. I usually video-edit the lecture videos and give the projects to the media encoder. I copy the introduction part of the video and paste it to the next new project, which is next lecture. But since a few weeks ago, videos which are encoded after the first one, came out with all black only with sounds. my output setting is H.264 1920x1080, progressive, nvidia codec, CBR 0.73Mbps. It does not give any problem when rendering is done in Premiere itself,. but the problem occurs only if I use the media encoder, and it occurs with 2nd video. I tried uninstall-installing of the Premiere and Media encoder but doesn't worked. Please give me a help.
Hi all, I'm working in AE on Mac and I export a video for a client. AME automatically takes me to ProjectName_AME's folder and then I have to navigate through the many folders in there to export in the right one. And then I have to do that each time I send a video to AME. Is there a way for AME to automatically export into the most recently used folder? So if I nagivate to that AME folder once (or another folder in Finder), the subsequent exports (which won't be in the queue until later) from that particular .AEP file would automatically navigate to the most recently used folder e.g. ProjectName01. Thanks!
When I export an AE file to the Adobe Encoder it produces a bizzare artifact, like a mirrored rim of the video (see picture below). Tried all kinds of different export settings, nothing works. Never had such a problem before with previous versions of the Encoder. Any hints, suggestions? Thanks! Juergen
is there a way to get media encoder to duplicate an export with a bunch of different presets applied? I have to export the same thing in 5 ways and each time I have to manually duplicate and select each preset. I know this seems like a total waste of time trying to automate something that takes me 30 seconds, but computers are supposed to do the grunt work, goddammit! (and ADHD 🤪)
Hey guys, I've been searching for answers online and haven't had any luck on how to successfully compress a large video (around 3 GB) using media encoder. I feel like that's something it should be able to do, right? I want to either send my video from Premier Pro to media encoder to compress it or just import footage to compress, I really don't need my videos to be super high quality and will just be used on a phone for educational purposes. I am shooting at 1080p. Exporting is just so terribly long with any sort of color/graphic edits to the videos and it's horrible. Is there a simple way I can just import a file to compress, or send from Premier Pro, to reduce file size by over 50% or just as much as possible? Thank you in advance.
We are moving to CUDA SDK v11.8 for Beta. This change is affecting AE/AME/Pr. The minimum Nvidia driver requirement to run CUDA acceleration has been lifted to 522.25. Expect to see System Compatibility Report to report issue if your driver is below the requirement. Please update Nvidia driver for your machine and your team's testing machines to avoid potential disruptions.
Hi, 1) When sending multiple renders from Ae to Media Encoder, is there any way to set the default "source range" ( the equivalent of the "time span" when rendering in Ae) in Media Encoder to "Entire Composition" rather than "Work Area". This is doing my head in, as I keep sending files to Media Encoder only to have them render out the last work area I was using of my comp, instead of the whole timeline. It's a pain to not only keep forgetting to change the work area after making an animation change in Ae, but in Media Encoder you can't even select the whole render queue and change them all at once as a shortcut. 2) When I make a change to a comp in Ae and send to media encoder, some files (a significant number to stress me out when working close to dealines) aren't rendering the changes I've made in Ae. I find the only way to counter this is to delete the "temp" .aep files in the "_AME" folder that Media Encoder creates, AND even then, sometimes that is not enough, so I
We have added more export events. Check out our updated documentation at https://ame-scripting.docsforadobe.dev/reference/index.html#ameexportevent.
Hello,I have cut 4K footage, from DJI Inspire, with the latest Adobe Premiere CC and made the rendering with Adobe Media Encoder for the final result. For any reason, the movie starts to stutter when the camera is panning. This only appears when I change the speed to make the clip run faster. I currently use 135%.These are my export settings. Sorry it's in German I think you know the meaning Here is the video. You can see the stuttering beginning at 0:56 Min. The whole video is on 135% of speed. Any ideas why this is happen? I tried it to render on two differnt PC's Win 7 and Win 10. Both with Intel i7 CPU 10GB and 16GB RAM.This happens also when I export to full HD.Any ideas how to solve this?Best regards.
Hi, I am trying to add one source file into batch with multiple presets and multiple outputs. I can do that via the UI by either duplicating the render, or go to 'File > Add Output". I am currently using addFileToBatch but it can only add a task with one preset and one outputs.addFileToBatch(filePath: string, format: string, presetPath: string, outputPath: string = ""): scripting object : Adds a file to the batch and returns an EncoderWrapper object. Is it a way to achieve this in scripting?
hello, when I want to render my after effect project, the media encoder is constantly stuck in the last frame and does not output. I uninstalled and reinstalled the programs but the problem did not go away. ____________________________________________________________________________ Analyzing project: StaticProjectForTeamProjectsMZ Details in file "SystemCompatibilityReport.ProjectAnalysis.txt" No errors were found. ____________________________________________________________________________ GPU Sniffer Log: GPUSniffer launching with test mask 574 GPUSniffer command line arguments: -T 574 -E 0 -A "Adobe Media Encoder" -S 3e4c0704-fd9d-47fa-a0a7-93d7a98fd555 -i 0 -s 1 GPU test phase NotStarted took 200 ms GPU test phase GFInitialize took 200 ms GPU test phase TestGPUComputation took 0 ms GPU test phase TestDXDisplay took 0 ms GPU test phase GFTerminate took 0 ms GPU Sniffer result: 529 _________________________________
So i have been using this plan since June of this year. Today when i logged in, i got that i must PAY to use media encoder, which i used for the past period without anyproblems, i am not sure what i am messing here.As you can see above, media encoder is locked and must be purchased, which is weird because it was included in my original plan and did use it on a daily basis.
I've been using AE and Media Encoder for years, but this never happened to me before. My vertical video seems fine in AE, but when I take it to Media Encoder to export it, the program displaces it (I don't know how). I've just downloaded from Creative Cloud and didn't touch any of the defaults on the menu. Anyone knows the solution? Thank you in advance... Here I leave you a screenshot of the preview of the video in After Effects and then the preview of the video on Media Encoder.
I've had this problem since the beginning of the year when I put anything in Encoder it exports the wrong audio. Say if someone is talking on the video, it'll have the completely wrong audio for it. I then go back to the Premiere project and the audio is fine and end up having to export it via Premiere, which is a waste of time when I could be getting on with editing another video. We thought this problem could have something to do with the Macs that we use, so we got new ones, but this hasn't solved the problem. I've just updated to the 12.1.1 update, as I saw this fixed some bug issues but it still hasn't exported properly.I've been on the chat and on the phone with Adobe, but every time they try to help they just delete a bunch of cache files but that doesn't work.I really hope someone can help!
last version which works for me is v23.3(build 57). all newer - crashes at loading ARRIRAW.prm os: Windows 10 Enterprise, v10.0.19045 build 19045mobo: ASUS X99-Acpu: i7-5930Kvga: RTX 3060 with latest studio drivers installed.
Howdy! So whenever I render through Media Encoder, the colors of my project are always a bit off, often looks faded, like the contrast has been lowered a slight bit. This issue does not happend when i render in AE directly, nor when i use Media Encoder to render a existing render, lets say a MOV from the AE project to a mp4. However it does happend every time no matter what settings I change if I render the project through Media Encoder first. Anyone else struggeling with colors / color profiles in Media Encoder?
I used to be able to leave Media Encoder running in the background whilst continuing working in After Effects or Premiere Pro. Now media encoder takes over the entire CPU and I can't even use a browser or edit a document if it is encoding. I am presuming this is something to do with CPU priority. I have tried using the 'renice' command in terminal but it has no impact. I have a feeling it is a fault in Mac OS rather than Media Encoder as the whole ecosystem has changed with Catalina. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Using version 14.8 build 31Thank you. Tim
So my SSD was getting clogged up so I decided to move all my files to my 😧 drive. All my apps are on there including Premiere Pro and Photoshop - I can open them fine through the files themselves but it seems Creative Cloud doesn't know where they are. Premiere Pro didn't recognise Media Encoder so I forcefully uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it to no luck. Creative cloud keeps trying to update it on my C: drive, obviously it isn't there any more. In preferences I've changed preffered install location to my 😧 drive but still nothing - and I can't change the syncing location as I recieve and error message when I try to do so. Can anybody help? I've got a load of work to do and basically can't create any proxies right now. I'll attach some images. The biggest issue is I can't reinstall Media Encoder or AE because Creative Cloud doesn't know they're not installed.
I was hoping the newest upgrade would fix this. It didn't. I export a video project using Media Encoder and the audio from a previous export is used instead of the current edit. So strange (although I see this has been an issue for a while.)
hi, i have a windows server that i would like to use as a network render farm with media encoder for after effects and premiere. the problem is that i currently have adobe cc license installed on a laptop and desktop pc. i read that there is an app called aerender, but i wasn't able to figure out how to get it to work. is it possible to do this without a license, or can i purchase a 3rd license?
Hey there! I'm having some trouble with Media Encoder. Every time I try to export my project as a TIFF Seq, Quicktime, MP4, or AVI file, I end up with this strange split-screen error. I've tried a bunch of different settings, but nothing seems to work. I thought it was just a preview issue, but it's showing up in the final product too. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hello all,I'm attempting to set up a dedicated export machine in my company's new office. This machine is an HP Z620 (running Windows 10) and will rely on AME's watch folders in order to pull projects export. The files being pulled exist on a network server with there being watch folders for each editor. The editors will put their completed projects in their respective watch folders, which would then allow for AME to pull and export out their projects. Now, the issue I'm running into with this is the fact that the company runs off of Macs (currently iMacs, not my personal choice, but our CEOs) for editing, thus making the file path to the project and every other associated file completely different than what it would be on Windows. Because of this, early tests of this system yielded the red "Media Offline" screen during the watch folder's export, obviously because of the varying file paths. My question then is how could this issue be remedied or is there a workaround we could use to ge
It is stuck here, just says "exporting video: preview not available"
Hi everyone, I'm making some animations in After effects for a broadcast client. 2 of the many render specifications are Unmatted alpha channel and EBU R128 audio. Stand alone these are no big issue but I struggle to find a workflow to apply both. I can render Unmatted directly in After effects but I can't render with EBU R128 audio. And in AME I have the opposite problem.AME can render with EBU R128 very easely but I somehow can't find an Unmatted alpha menu. Am I missing something? Please help.
