I have problem with newest version of Adobe Media Encoder. When i want to open AME, the start creen appears, but after a while, it disappears and nothing happens. In a nuttshell, it crash. Media Encoder just doesn't launch. Everything worked fine with the 2023 version, but after updating to the latest version, this problem appeared. I have Premiere Pro on the latest version and it works perfectly. The issue only occurs with Media Encoder. I have tried literally everything, running it as an administrator, using the "create proxy" option in Premiere Pro. Nothing works. I hope this problem can be resolved because without proxies, I am stuck.
I'm trying to render proxies again for the same video files from the same computer in the same project file but it keep failing. The render had no issues with the first video but the others all falied. What am I doing wrong? I've even shortened the file name to "122624 - HERO - 04".
¿Porque todo los videos que exporto desde Adobe Media Encoder se pixelean? Ya desinstale e instale el programa pero sigue presentando el mismo problema.
I can't seem to connect After Effects to Media Encoder.Running:MacBook Pro 16-inch, 2021 M1 Max 32GB, MacOS Sonoma 14.5.AE Version 24.5.0 (Build 52)ME Version 24.5 (Build 50) - When I click "Add to Media Encoder Queue..." it opens up Media Encoder but nothing happens.- When I drag a Comp from AE to ME, ME directly goes "Not Responding" and has to Force Quit it.- Tried uninstalling and installing both AE and ME.- Worked when queueing Sequence from Premiere
I've looked through the forums and couldn't find anything covering this, so I figured asking here was worth a shot- sorry if this has been asked before.I can't get Adobe Media Encoder 2024 open on my mac; it's been giving me the "cannot create folder: presets" error. I've tried a few solutions, but nothing's worked. There isn't an "Adobe Media Encoder" file in the "/documents/adobe" folder, and I don't know how to make one- manually creating one doesn't work.Do I need to make that folder again to fix the situation, and how can I get Media Encoder to open? Thanks!
Hello all, has anyone else encounted a recent 'go slow' on media encoder? This has only happened in the last couple of weeks - I use it all the time and suddenly it is taking hours to encode 6 min clips. Where as, exporting directly is taking 12 minutes. very frustrating. Any advice would be amazing. Richard
IssueCaptions are burned into video despite Export Options > Create Sidecar File being turned on Adobe Media Encoder version number24.3 Operating systemWindows 10 Steps to reproduce Export video from Premiere Pro, using Export Options > Create Sidecar FileStart export from Media Encoder Expected result There should be no captions burned into the video, and there should be an SRT file created. Actual result There are captions burned into the video, and there is also a SRT file created. NotesWhen I'm scrubbing the video in Premiere export window, there are no captions visible in the video. However, if I open the settings in Media Encoder and scrub the video, captions are on the video.
Hi there, when I have a composition in AFX titled for example "composition15.0_test" and I send that to render to Media Encoder, the output filename automatically changes to "composition15-0" (hyphen instead of dot). Why and how can I disable this? Thank you.
Hi! I'm using Media Encoder Version 24.5 (Build 50). In recent days, I have been trying to export a project that I have edited in Premiere, and in the shots where I have used Warp Stabilizer, it shows the 'media offline' indication in the final video. When I export directly from Premiere, this indication does not exist, and the export is done correctly.Any ideas what is going wrong?
I've read some older posts about this same problem but here we are, it's still a problem. Apparently some update back in the day fixed it but seem to me they've unfixed it. Has anybody actually figured out how to prevent this? I'd hate to have my monitor glowing all night just to keep the render going... I've tried to look for something in ME settings as well as system settings but nothing stood out. MacOS 13.5.2Latest Creative Cloud apps
Hi,I am using Extendscript to automate rendering from After Effects projects. In the Extendscript toolkit, or through BridgeTalk, I can make the following work with AME cc:var fnt = app.getFrontend();var ech = app.getEncoderHost();var exp = app.getExporter();//The comp to be renderedvar cmp = "F:\\ProjectsAE\\AEProject.aep";//AME presets to be used (I had to copy the epr files from their original location to a simple path for this to work)var pst = "C:\\AMEPresets\\AVC-Intra Class100 1080 50i.epr";var pst2="C:\\AMEPresets\\PAL DV Widescreen.epr";//Output files without extensionsvar out = "F:\\ProjectsAE\\Render\\AEProject_Onair";var out2="F:\\ProjectsAE\\Render\\AEProject_Preview";//This adds onair preset/outputfnt.addCompToBatch(cmp,pst,out); //This adds preview preset/output for the same compfnt.addCompToBatch(cmp,pst2,out2); //This starts renderingech.runBatch(); //This deletes the queue//exp.removeAllBatchItems();The problem is that two render items are added in the batch, one for e
There used to be a Channels selection in ME that had things like (RGB, RGB+Alpha, etc.). I can't find it (v24.5). I've tried to use AVI, Quicktime, and a few others, but no option appears for the channels. I do see a check box for 'alpha only', but that is not what I want.I've recently discovered I can choose a preset that states 'plus alpha'. I ended up using Quicktime and a profile with alpha. Oddly, I couldn't find it for AVI, and that is what I've used in the past.Note that even when I choose the profile with alpha, I still don't see a specific setting that is tied to this. I'm still curious if I am missing something obvious, as removing the Channels option seems odd.
Hello, I have a 30 fps video, but the media encoder changes it to 25 fps, how can I make it 30 fps?
I have been trying to export this visual I made on media encoder, but every time I try, it comes out low quality, although the original footage I used was 4K quality. Attached is the original video, my edit, and my export settings. This also seems to be a problem during playback in AE as it also looks to be low quality, so is it something to do with effects making the video lower quality? I think it may not be the exporting being the problem but the effects, but why do the effects make the quality lower and how can i fix this, or is it the export settings?
AE 2022+ME 2022imported aep. into ME successfully without any link issue but the compositions didn't show up as expected, as you can see, nothing's listed in the window. It's a complicated project, but i waited for several hours and nothing showed up still.Same thing happen on the AE side, only even but the import-window didn't show upAny help is much appreciated!!!Tx
After editing a 12h01m long project and trying to render it, after 5 hours of processing Media Encoder reports an error and fails to encode the mp4 file. This is the error that I get in the logs: ------------------------------------------------------------ - Encoding Time: 04:57:40 06/09/2024 02:23:39 AM : Encoding Failed ------------------------------------------------------------ A low-level exception occurred in: H.264 (Exporter:9) Export Error Error compiling movie. EL render no avanza, he modificado un par de ajustes en los efectos y haavanzado más e ido mejor, pero se siempre se queda pillado en algún punto y no termina, tampoco se queda congelado el programa, todo los demás va correctamente.
Running latest ME causes system to lag... mouse, AE UI, etc... anyone else experience this?
I cannot find this function in the latest version. It has been very obvious in previous versions. Anyone know where it is?23.6.7
Afternoon. I've been encountering encoding errors on AME when trying to encode in any of the HEVC (H.265) presets. If the output file size is going to be nearly (but not quite) half of the disk space remaining on my hard drive then the encode appears to complete but with a warning. I recently upgraded from CC2017 to CC2018 on both my PC at work and my Mac at home. When I was using CC2017 encoding 1920x755 (for digital signage) worked fine to a MPEG2 file. Today, I was trying to encode to a MPEG2 file, and started getting this error below. It happens on both my Mac at home and PC at work.I can get a 1920x1080 to encode, (1920x754 and 1920x756 both encode ok), the size I need to export for digital signage is 1920x755.Is there somewhere I can find what frame size is supported by MPEG2 codec? I feel like I've eliminated "hardware or memory problems" Things I've tried so far:- Uninstalled and reinstalled Media Encoder latest version (kept preferences from old CC2017 and also deleted preferences)- Cleared all my media caches- Restarted - Updated video card drivers- Tried a new simple AE project - Encoding Time: 00:00:0208/27/2018 04:58:33 PM : Encoding Failed------------------------------------------------------------Export ErrorError compiling movie.Codec compression
Is there any way to have a Watch Folder preset that will export a specific frame number (time code) to a JPEG? So far I have only been able to export the first frame, or an image sequence of all the frames. What I am trying to do is create a Watch Folder I can drag a video file in to. ME will then export a JPEG of the 29th frame, or 00:00:00:29 to use as a preview image. I can get regular preset to do this by manually clicking on the preset, dragging the scrubber to the 29th frame, then hit ok and run the queue, but I cant get it to do this as part of a Watch Folder. When I use a JPEG preset on a Watch Folder I only get the first frame (which is never useful) or an image sequence, which is too much.
This is my first time posting one of these types of questions. I know how detailed people need to be in order to get informed responses so please bear with me in the comments as I get back to you the computer specs that are requested. For now, here is the issue: Only recently have my h.264 exports had this weird black and white glitch that FLASHES at random. It doesn't seem to show up in Premiere Pro (though I have seen it once) so it's not an issue on the timeline. Dear Community,I am currently trying to convert multiple JPEG files into H.264 formats using Media Encoder, and it's working quite well. However, I have the problem that the length is limited to 5 seconds. I can shorten it, but I can't extend it to, for example, 15 seconds. I could simply export it in Premiere, but since I have several JPEG files that I want to export as individual H.264 files, does anyone have an idea on how to achieve this?Best
