After using Media Ecoder for a couple of years to create proxy files I now cannot get it to add my watermark. I'm using ME version 23.1 (Build 81) on a Apple Silicon MacBook Pro. All permissions are fine. I have tried resizing the watermark file, repositioning it in the frame and I have tried various file formats (other than the usual png) but no matter what I do ME will not add the watermark. I have tried the watermark file in various folders (just in case there is a permissions glitche). Nothing works.
I decided to leap out of Beta and back into the regular versions of PP and ME.In my very first operation I asked PP to send stuff to ME to create proxies. All seemed weel. I set up a very small set of interviews which, based on past history, should have taken about 1 hour to create proxies.I went to bed and returned this morning (almost 7 hours later) to find it still working on them. I encountered this issue before where ME just gets slower and slower and slower the more it keeps encoding.I posted about it and eventually it was fixed. Well, it seems to be back. J'utilise after 24.3, mediat 24.3.
So, I tried everything that the community said, but nothing can fix this. So in After Effects I see one color, and when I go to Media Encoder, same color... but the final step (render), doesnt seem the same color I saw. Someone can help me?
I want to use Partial Disclosure in Media Encoder which he has got in Vimeo but this feature is not under the presets of Adobe Media Encoder
I was just reading aobut the FFV1/MKV codec, now considered by the Library of Congress as one of its preferred archival formats. Any chance of seeing that as an export/import codec in the near future?
I am transcoding a video captured from a DV tape on an avi file (no compression (13G/hour)). The original video plays fine on windows media player, vlc. No matter what options I choose in adobe media encoder, the resulting audio is either distorted (high pitch chipmunk like) or missing. I chose several of the standard profiles with the same result. I have an old copy of windows movie maker and it is able to produce good quality audio.Anyone have recommendations on what my issue is? Thanks,
I'm using the latest version of Media Encoder on Windows 11, and I have saved a few presets, but so far they are never in my User Presets list as they used to be. Does anyone know how to fix this, or are they listed somewhere else now? Thanks!
I'm trying to render a 5.30 minute clip edited on Ae through Me; it's taking about 30 hours to render because CPU usage is 90-100%, GPU 1-2%. Render settings:H.26460fpsVBR pass 1 is set to 40 mbps.Footage is from YouTube in .webm Even on parts that have effects like magic bullet looks, s_filmdamage, and turbulent displacement (the rest of the edit is simple with subtitles and an emoji png), GPU is not used. What's the use of GPU encoders and decorders when they're not used at all?How can I increase render speed? Everything is set to CUDA renderer
AME 24.4 Beta Build 32: I'm trying to render an SD sequence (720x480), and it's telling me hardware rendering is not supported. I have nVidia RTX 2080Ti, which has worked flawlessly with previous builds. Is this a beta bug for today?
Hi, I would like to encode my project from After Effects with Media Encoder, but it says: Adobe Media Encoder has encounteres an unexpected error and cannot continue. What can I do? Media Encoder is also not starting as Standalone. Renderqeue in After Effects is working.I am working on windows 10, AE and MC are newest versions, nvidia graphics driver is newest.I am stuck.Cheers, Albert
I've been having an issue everytime rendering with media encoder. Video preview in AME looks fine, no errors, but the final clip looks like the images attached. When I render directly from Premiere or After effects it renders fine. I tried updating the card's driver, and reversed the driver back to previous versions. I also tried unistalling software and re installing. I also did it to the whole adobe suite and the issue continues.
Hi, When I select h.264 format, I am used to select some presets, and by default, the first preset of the list remains selected what ever I do. Is the new preset selected really selected even if the check in the list is not updated, or is the new preset selected really not selected.... ? So it's a mess. And when I close Adobe Premiere AND Adobe Media Encoder, I can have fatal error... It seems that the default presets "Correspondance à la source - Débit élevé" and "Correspondance à la source - Débit moyen" are bugged...
In Adobe Animate when I export to video I can select 'Start Adobe Media Encoder Render Queue immediately' so that Adobe Media Encoder will start immediately exporting the video. Ever since I've updated Adobe Media Encoder to version 24.3 (build 49) however this doesn't make Media Encoder start the encoding process. It just waits for me to click the 'start queue' button. Used to work fine in the previous Media Encoder version (where I also used the latest Adobe Animate version).
When opening the Media Encoder application, an error message appears:- Error:Could not load library: sx32w.dll. What should I do?
When I export any video to H.264, medium or high vibrate, the result is a damaged video. The audio is complete, but image got like attached picture. It happens with Premiere pro and Encoder. Quicktime or AVI output doesn't have any export issue. It is not a custom preset or any damaged footage, It happens with any project. Please help. 😞
Hi everyone,I'm facing an issue with exporting a sequence from After Effects. The requirement is to export it as an mp4 file without audio, using the H.265/HEVC codec. Additionally, the target size is 12032px x 96px, with a frame rate of 60 fps and a duration of 20 seconds, as it's intended for display on an LED strip. The predicted file size is around 20 MB, which is good. However, every time I try to export the sequence, I encounter an error message:Error during export Error compiling the film. Here are the export details:Error during exportError compiling the film. Error during export Encoder could not be created. Writing with exporter: HEVC (H.265)Write to file: ....Final.mp4File type is written: HEVCTo timecode: 00:00:00:00Component: HEVC (H.265) of type ExporterSelector: 9Error code: 3 Could the error be related to the size? Exporting at 12032px x 200px works fine, so I'm wondering if there's a minimum height requirement for HEVC encoding. I'm e
Dear Adobe, Could you enhance Media Encoder not to stop the process or slow down the process even it's close the shell of MacBook Pro? When I close the shell(display panel), It seems to be slow down the process or stop the process. But I expect that it will process Exporting footage as a specified video format. That's common background process approach. If there is no API available for the under shell closing from Apple Inc, Could you kindly ask Apple to develop the API. I think there is the API to support my idea not to stop the process or slow down the process. Thank you so much. Best regards,
Hello So im getting a random "failed" error in media encoder when rendering my files I can add the file to the queue again change no settings and its does it fine here are the settings: Preset Used: Youtube- Video: 2560x1440 (1.0), 60 fps, Progressive, 203 (75% HLG, 58% PQ), Hardware Encoding, Nvidia Codec, 00:14:25:11- Audio: AAC, 320 kbps, 48 kHz, Stereo- Bitrate: CBR, Target 80.00 Mbps As i say when it fails i can click duplicate in media encoder and it will try again and completes it fine Any ideas why this happens

Hey, i do not know if anyone had this problem already.I render a list of ae comps and at the beginning it looks all fine.Aftter a while - always different - the process stops during rendering a video when the video has reachend 100%. So when I check media encoder again for example after 3 Hours I see the last frame of the film in the preview and it has stopped. Then I have to restart media encoder and it works again. Does anyone know this problem and can help me? I have Windows and the newest version of Media Encoder. I tried to remove the cache, does not help. I use cuda rendering .. but I already tested several options. Thanks for your helpAndi
I realised this today. It's not the first time this happened to me.I had to leave the PC to render overnight. Project from AE. (besides all renders in ME are painfully slow, for example if I put same source files into Premierepro and export directly from there it takes fraction of the time )So I started exporting. estamined time was 7 hours. When I was leaving the PC 4 hours passed, 3 hour left. I turned off screen and left.In the morning ( about 8 hours later) after turning on the screen I noticed that export time got stuck. 4hours passed, but estamined time was now 10 and half hours... Just afterwards the progress bar and passed time started to move again.( my media server has power options set to never go to sleep, never turn on screensaver, all power savings are turned off) I'm used to render a lot overnight ( not just video ) and this ( and slows renders from ME in general ) it's really annoying. Does someone experience a similar issue? is there any solu
I am exporting from Premiere Pro to AME. Timeline video is in 4K with MOGRTs and PNGs. Playback is fine in Pr. Even the preview is fine when rendering in AME. Codec is H.264 with a LUT. After the render is complete I try to play it in multiple players including VLC and the video is greyed out. I even tried removing all LUTs, PNGs, and MOGRTs from the render and still the same problem. However, when I render in H.265 the output is exactly what is expected. Does anyone know why this might be happening? Thanks. OS: Windows 11. AME/Premiere: 24.2.1 (Build 2)All Video shot with GoPro 9 and DJI Mini 3 Pro. (Used with no issues multiple times before.)

Media Encoder 24.2.1. Attempting to encode a Quicktime ProRes 4444 W Alpha video from a 2000 frame image sequence. If "Interpret Footage" is used with "Assume Framerate" (24fps in this case), the frames only encode properly partway into the finished video. At some point, the motion gets stuck on a single frame, and that single frame is encoded into the remainder of the video, frozen in place until the end. Previous versions of Media Encoder tested and do not have this issue (Currently switched back to 23.5 which works fine)
