Hello.I have a recurring issue of ME crashing when rendering anything in the H.264 format. This has happened to my on both my old PC and my new one, so isn't an issue with the hardware. For info, I am running Windows 10 64 bit with an AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, 64 Gigs of Ram at 3600 MHz and a RTX 2070 super.I currently have all the latest updates. This issue doesn't always happen, sometimes it happens to certain projects multiple times and some projects, never. No idea what causes it, but it whenever it happens, the system dies with a Blue Screen. This happens for me even with the inbuilt H.264 presets.I see tonnes of similar threads in the Premier Pro and After Effects forums, but I am posting it here because I believe the issue lies with Media Encorder. I have exportet a million times before due to my work. Lately ME has started to freeze the last couple of seconds on the output. At the export preview, it renders fully to the end but the output is as shown in the video attached. If I reset and export again without touching any settings, it still does it, but at a new frame. It sometimes helpes to export withput audio, but in this case i need the audio. It is not influences by any effects, motions or other stuff in premiere. It has done it both with Premiere and After Effects.

The WebM plugin in the Adobe Exchange is an old version that does not include alpha channel support. When downloading the version from fnordware directly you get the alpha channel option in Media Encoder 2021. Now that Media Encoder 2022 is out, it seems to be forcing the older version. Any idea how to fix this or go back to 2021 just for Media Encoder?
Merci
(Apologies if this has been posted up before, - if so, please point me to the solution!)No matter what format I choose to batch export from Premiere Pro (H264, ProRes, etc, etc), it takes an absolute age to load into Media Encoder, and when I hit "Go", a simple 5 second video (for example) then proceeds to take half an hour to export ... and then gets flagged up as Failed. (This has only started to happen since I upgarded to the latest versions about a month ago.)This is driving me NUTS!! I have hundreds of files to export today and having to export them one by one out of Premier as ProRes files, and then having to compress those using Media Encoder (it seems to like pre-exported ProRes files, it just won't export ANYTHING if sent from Premiere directly) into the various formats is quadrupling the speed at which I can work.Basically, if I set up a batch export from Premier Pro into Media Encoder, no matter what the file format is, Media Encoder falls on its arse.
Hi,I'm trying to set up AME on our render farm. We use Deadline to submit jobs on the farm and on that side everything seems working and the worker has AME installed with its license. (Checked locally and works)The problem is when I send a job to the test worker I get the following error. C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder 2021>ame_webservice_console.exeLaunching web services. Use --help for options.Starting HTTP service on ip 127.0.0.1, port 8080History will be retained for the most recent 100 jobs.Creating AMEServerAMEServer OFFLINE! I've also tried to launch the same command that Deadline calls locally and I get the same error. I'm sure I'm missing something but I'm having hard time finding documentation on AME/Render farm. Thanks! M.
I'm using AME to render my AE comp as always, but after this last update you broke something!! Now it's taking hours, and when it reaches 100% it never ends the render. And I'm using CUDA, but it's only using 5% of my GPU. I can't you don't test this before launching an update ! WINDOWS 11 HOMERTX 2060 SUPERRYZEN 7 3700x
I sure hope this is an Adobe software issue...I just got my new Mac Studio today: M1 Max, 32GB RAM. Ran a render of an After Effects project using AME, with the Match Source, High Bitrate preset (1080p, H.264, VBR 1-pass 10Gbps). Render time was 13:36.Compare with my render time on my 2017 iMac Core i7: 14:44. So...that's NOT a great improvement. Is this an area where Adobe has not optimized for the M1 chip?
Hello everyone! I'm trying to render a video from After Effects that has a video linked to a file from Premiere Pro. I'm worried that the latest update to Media Encoder (22.5) is no longer compatible with my Mac Studio I left a video to render overnight when it said it would be ready in 8 hours. I come back this morning and it said that it would now take 11 1/2 hours! I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, allocating the RAM, cutting down on graphics on After Effects, and the results are the same. Here are the specs: macOS MontereyVersion 12.5Mac Studio (2022)Chip: Apple M1 UltraMemory: 64GBToal Number of Cores: 20 (16 performance and 4 efficiency)
Please help me! Media was working just fine last week, and today it´s not working! I can´t export from after to media, i have to get it done, i have a lot of work.
Hello, I switched to mac about a week ago and I am a video editor for YouTubers. When I was on PC (1660 Super GPU) I would render 1920x1080 15 min videos and it would take 30 mins, but when I render videos of the exact same amount of graphics it taked around 1 hour for videos even less than 15 minutes! I edit my videos inside of premiere and render them in Adobe Media Encoder with these render settings: Not just that I have some videos that I upscale to 4k and those are just 5 minute videos taking hours upon hours when on my old PC it would take max 2 hours. Please help because these render times are affecting my work time and it's getting really frustrating!
I have the very latest media encoder and a macbook air M1. I've. had no issues with media encoder until after this latest update. Before anyone asks, here's what I've done:1. I uninstalled. and reinstalled it 2. Cleared cache memory.3. I have 600 GB free hard drive space So I work in animation and we have to export over 100 subclips as their own animation files. These aren't large files. Between 9mb to 60mbs once exported. NOW it can't handle more than 20-40 subclips at a time before it freezes up and locks down. I have to force quit but to make things better, when I re-open it, it still tries to load everything that forced it to freeze in the first place. So I have to wait and click cancel a hundred times to stop them all from loading.Besides only exporting 40 at a time which is tedious, then having to quit ME and re-open it (I can't just do 40 at a time, delete them, keep ME open and do 40 more. It freezes), any ideas???
Out of nowhere this morning, ME won't import/see AE projects or comps. I'm using the most current versions of both. I tried rolling back to each app's previous version but no dice. Not sure why this is happening now. I've done nothing different. ME can't even import/see older AE projects/comps that I've successfully imported into ME before. Adobe - or anyone - do you know why this is happenening and/or if there's a fix? Thank you!
Hi, i know my problem is not a new one, but its soo annoying and is blocking me in my workflow. Since a couple of days Media Encoder CC2022 has been rendering my compositions from After Effects very slowly. Projects that needed just a couple of minutes before now need more than an hour. And if thats not enough, my whole computer is starting to lagging when the rendering process begins. You probably can understand that this is very annoying. If you need my specs: Nvidea RTX 3080AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16 Cores64GB Ram I hope anyone could help me with my problem.Kind regards.
Hi, I'm having a problem about generating proxies with Adobe Media Encoder. These are the facts: I create the file, I put the check on "Create Proxy" and when I import files Media Encoder opens but nothing happens. I've tried many ways, including reinstalling both programs, but still nothing. Would anyone know how to help me? I absolutely need this resource in order to work.
É um absurdo pagarmos caro para poder usufruit dos programas, e eles só piorarem a estabilidade e eficiencia deles. Não preciso nem falar qual problema estou enfrentando, tendo em vista que milhares de pessoas estão passando pela mesma situação. A ADOBE PRECISA AGIR!
ma vidéo after effects n'apparait pas dans media encoder, ça fait 4 heures que j'essai. Des idées ?
I recently changed my GPU (from 1650S to 3070) and now Media Encoder does not export any video. I have cleared the caches for both Media Encoder and PPro, and I have reinstalled both apps.I am using the standard H264 option but keep getting this error. I am on all latest drivers (and did a clean install of the studio Nvidia drivers). When I try to export the sequence through PPro, it works properly but with Media Encoder it stops and errors out at the exact same time. My video has an intro + main video content + outro. The error happens right at the beginning of the main video content. I have tried exporting the intro and main video content separately, and those were exported without any error; it is only when I export the combined sequence that Media Encoder simply does not work. Everything worked fine with the old card. Here's the error: Export ErrorError compiling movie. Render Error Render returned error. Writing with exporter: H.264Writing to fil
Hello, I'm looking for a way to compress 1000's of video files in the .mp4 format, which is simple enough in a straight forward drag and drop. However, as these files are all part of premiere projects, I need the folder structures and names of the files to stay the same. All I want is for the file to be compressed and written over in the same location, with no addition to the filename, no new folder, just a simple compress and replace. I've tried to do this in Adobe Media Encoder - is this possible? I know I have done it in the past, but it now seems impossible. Any help and direction are gratefully received. Thank you
Hello everyone! The Problem: I updated to the latest versions of Adobe CC products yesterday, only to find that I cannot render from After Effects as I normally did – when I go to "File > Export > Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue" absolutely nothing happens. When I drag a comp from AE to AME, AME gets stuck on "Connecting to Dynamic Link Server..." and won't proceed.Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may have happened during the update to break AME's connection to the Dynamic Link Server? My system: 27-inch, Mid 2011 iMac2.7 GHz Intel Core i516GB RAMSierra 10.12.4Software:After Effects 2017.2 Release, Version 14.2.0.198Adobe Media Encoder 2017.1 Release, Build 11.1.0.170 Troubleshooting Steps Taken:1. As I mentioned, both After Effects and AME are the latest updates, I've checked several times. It's bothersome to me that I have the 2017.2 version of AE and the 2017.1 version of AME, but that appears to be the latest versions of both. 2. I uninstalled AME, manually moved
