I run a weekly podcast and I routinely have to export the video for youtube and Mp3 for audio-only. I was wondering if there was a way to do both with one preset or if I have to do two separate actions
I've never had this problem before, but I do now. It's appearance has followed my recent update to the latest Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018 update (Version 12.0.0, Build 224) and Adobe Media Encoder CC 2018 (Version 12.0, Build 202). Of course I'm not saying that these updates caused the problem, just making note of the timeline. Here is what happens: I export a sequence from Premiere Pro using the File > Export > Media menu commands. Premiere Pro's Export Settings dialog opens, I select the Export Settings I want, then click on the Queue button. All seems to work normally, as Media Encoder opens, and I see the sequence listed in the Media Encoder Queue. However, when I start encoding the queue, there is a flash of activity in Media Encoder's Encoding Panel, lasting maybe half a second, then the Encoding Panel goes blank and inactive, showing only the default words "Not Currently Encoding." A green check mark appears next to the sequence on the Queu
Greetings!Whenever I drag and drop a bunch of sequences I want to render from After Effects to the Media Encoder queue, they are queued in reverse order alphabetically - and it's a REALLY annoying issue for me. Imagine having sequences named "seq-001", "seq-002", let's say, up to "seq-999".. When dropped into media encoder, the first sequence queued to render will be 999, then 998, etc.. Now imagine you want to render them starting with 001, because the render takes a long time and you want to deliver the first clips as soon as possible.. you have to manually drag and sort a thousand sequences! How does one fix this issue? I'm on a Windows 11 computer using Adobe CC.Thanks
Hi, Hopefully someone can help as I haven't had any luck with exiting threads. I am running AE and AME 2020 on Win10. When I try senda comp to AME it tha app opens but nothing queues, and yes I have the Queue window open. If I try use the Add Source button and chose the project file manually it gives an error: "The project could not be opened". It works fine with other projects so something about this file is perhaps corrupted? I have uninstalled and re installed my app, removed prefs, cleared cach and still nothing. Have tried importing the project into a new project, saving as a new file and still nothing. Any suggestions please??
So I've created an animation on Adobe Animator and I've been trying to export it to a video format. It's not huge and only a few mins long so it exports pretty fast but when I try and export it to Adobe Media Encoder, the Media Encoder loads up and starts not responding (I'm on windows) if I click on it.So far I've tried to reinstall Media Encoder and I saved the animation as a PNG sequence so I could try something with that.
I'm having an issue with JPEG 2000 MXF OP1a files that I want to convert in AME. The file will only export by splitting the screen and duplicating the left side of the image: Is there a way to resolve this?
Hi there. Encoder is not working properly. Dynamic link's not working but I can't also import a .mov file to convert to H264. Do I have to install the version before last?
When I export my composition created in AE, I use Media Encoder - but it keeps coming out with dull colour. How can I get the rich colour shown on my composition to export accurately? (dull export shown on the left of screenshot.)
I'm working with UHD 100Mb/s 4:2:0 HEVC files. They are a pain to edit with, so I wanted to transcode them into a mezzanine codec. I'm using Windows, so that'd be DNxHD as far as I know. The HQ flavor of DHxHD is 7x the size of the original file, which is hella bloat. The LB version is only 1.4x the size. Would that be lossless since the bucket's not overflowing (so to speak), or are there other factors that could degrade my footage?
Suddenly today, my ME no longer opens. It loads until it reaches "Loading ImporterQuickTime.Bundle" and then prompts as an "unexpected error and cannot continue." This is version 15.4.
After ME finishes encoding the video, it says "coding terminated with warnings", can I get help with this?
hi, i need help I am using a media encoder on mac, i can not connect to the media encoder from after effect, I tried to update and reinstall both application but didn't work kindly i need help thanks.
Hello, I am trying to export an hour long video from 4k/HD to the 720 Vimeo preset and I have been encountering error messages since Thursday 31st evening. Here is an example of the error message. I have an Asus notebook PC and have my files stored on a Samsung Portable T7. I have been trying to test a one minute export this morning, and after clicking "Queue" in the export media window, AME has taken almost 5 minutes to open. I still haven't been able to export. For info, last week I did this same export (the long 4k to 720) and had no issue.
I am trying to export a simple video with a title graphic. In premiere the text in on two lines - after Media Encoder exports it, the text is suddenly on three lines. Im running the latest versions of both premiere and media encoder on an 2019 8 core iMac 12.2.1
I'm having a problem exporting MP4 files from ME (and indeed PP) whereby the exporting process seems to run and completes no problem. However when I play the resulting MP4 file back it freezes usually 4 or 5 seconds before the end of the clip. The clip itself appears to be the correct duration, it's just that the encoding process seems to hit an error and doesn't encode the last bit of the clip correctly. I'm guessing it's an issue with the MP4 codec in the system given that the same issue occurs across the entire Adobe suite (inc AE). I've got a workaround at the moment which is to encode using Wondershare Converter, but that's irritating because I need to output to ProRes (or a different Codec) and then encode to MP4 - doubling the process. I'm running Big Sur on an iMac 2014, using PP 2022 and ME 2022 - all up to date with the most recent updates. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if there's a fix?
I'm converting simple 4K X4K raw AVI to mp4 with 10Mbps bitrate for streaming test. When I set CBR 10Mbps with maximum render setting, I get 300 Kbps..When I set VBR 10Mbps with maximum render setting, I get 1-1.3Mbps..Maybe it thinks that's enough, but the gradient doesn't look good as the original source. Also I need accurate size of bit rate data for my test.Note: When I switch to software encoding, it keeps the set bitrate, but the game engine can't read the file, so I need this hardware encoded.
When I send lots of sequences to the Media Encoder from After Effects, the encoder application window becomes active after every sequence is accepted. Looking for a way to keep my After Effects window active during the whole process. The switching between the 2 programs is not helping my workflow.
I was able to export and render through Adobe Media Encoder no problem a few days ago. After adjusting the horizontal divider between the top and bottom area, I expect the output preview to adjust itself as well but it stays the same size.Is this preview size hard coded or is there a way to make it larger?
