Adobe Media Encoder

I have several long video clips (like 60 to 90 minutes) that I'm converting from MTS to MP4. On some of them, somewhere in the middle of the video stream, the audio stream restarts from the beginning of the file. In other words the audio goes out of sync and restarts from the beginning in the middle of the video file. This occurs in AME. It appears work properly when encoded inside PP.

Bonjour à tous, Je suis sous le joug d'une immense frustration quand j'essaie d'exporter des fichiers via Adobe Encoder. J'explique : quand j'exporte une vidéo depuis After Effect vers la file d'attente de Media Encoder, tout se passe bien. J'appuie sur play pour exporter la vidéo depuis Media Encoder, le temps de chargement est raisonnable, la vidéo s'anime sans fautes sous la barre de chargement. À la fin du chargement, aucun message d'erreur n'apparait, je constate tout de même un point d'interrgoation jaune sur la coche verte de fin de chargement, lequel me dit que mon codage s'est terminé avec des avertissements. Lorsque je clique sur le lien de la vidéo, celle-ci est illisible et ne pèse que 24 octets. --> Frustration immense. Le message d'erreur est le suivant : L’importateur de fichiers a détecté une incohérence dans la structure de fichier de Composition 1_3.mp4. La lecture et l’écriture des métadonnées (XMP) de ce fichier ont été désactivées.Adobe Media Enco

AME crashes pretty much stright away on launch.I see the loading logo and that's it.Crash report attached .

Hey! I have a problem. I'm using the latest Adobe Media Encoder 13.0.2 (Build 39) on MacOS 10.14.2. I have i7-7700k with Vega64 and 32GB of RAM..Problem is that after adding 2 or more items to queue and starting the render process. And after starting queue, the exit promt window pops up. When I press No, it comes back in like half a second. So far have tried to reinstall everything, cleared cache. Problem is still there. Thanks to that it is impossible to leave something rendering over night without some stupid macro workaround method.Am I the only one who is getting that error?

My PC is set to "never" sleep. Despite this, multiple times while running a long render queue (over 150 clips), my computer would go to sleep. When i would come check on the render, the fans are running and sounds like everything is running fine, I would move the mouse, the computer would seemingly restart and the start up sequece comes on screen. I log in, and all programs are closed including media encoder, and I got to look in the export folder and the last video file was created an hour ago, and the rest are not completed. Why is this happening? The computer is not turned off when I come back to it, but by moving the mouse to awaken the screen, the computer seems to restart. Also, even though there were clips that completed rendering, they are still in the queue when I open media encoder up again after the ghost restart. Normally I have all my projects/cache/program/video files on their respective internal ssd's as per Premier Pro requirements, But this is a project was a last

Imagine you go to sleep with hundreds of files render in Media Encoder. just to wake up and see all the files rendered are only 24 bytes. Just to remember then, that you had the 23.1 version and that one latin accent in the name of the folder was the cause of the problem. Yes, I know I have to update to the 23.2 version, I tough it was automaticaly updated since Premiere is now 23.2 in my laptop. What a joke is now Creative Cloud, every update full of bugs and crash. I'ts not even "PRO" anymore, I don't know why Adobe it's killing what use to be trust and proffesional software.

Hello, I'm on Media Encoder, its up to date 03 of March 2023. I'm in the process of encoding a lot of proxies for a documentary and sometimes Media Encoder is writing the proxy files in the wrong folder.Instead of writing to the requested output path on the preset it saves the files on the original files location. I've double checked my preset configurations many times to be shure. Sometimes it even writes SOME of the files on queue to the right path, and SOME to the right place. Its really weird.Its not always, and the files encoded work just fine, but still, its a big hasle.

Hello, a question for the developers. Since CC 2022 I see that versions of AEFT and AME are the same: 2021AEFT 18.4.6 + AME 15.4.1 2022AEFT 22.2.1 + AME 22.2.1 = same 2023AEFT 23.2.1 + AME 23.2.1 = same Is this a coincidence or could one rely on this same version number in future releases? And if so, would these versions be released at the same moment?I see Beta is different, but that would make sense anyway. Asking so I can come up with a solid version checker. And is this even the right place to ask this? Many thanks again!

Hey guys.Lately I have some issues with Media Encoder (it's the latest version of 2023) anytime that I try to lunch  it...it appears me "Adobe Media Encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue."Does it happen to anybody else? I can't export any videos because of this issue. I tried to unistall it and install it again but it's the same.Can anybody help me to solve this problem, please?Thanks

no matter what i do, media Encoder fails, it has been 2 months of this issue persisting.i have tried older versions of ME, AE, reinstalling, remaking the project with new files, its only about 15 min long, i have tried changing every setting i can possibly think of and research. no solutions. i even tried to remake the project on another computer and the same thing happens, after 2-3 min of rendering, the file FAILS, i have no idea what is happening or why. im about DONE with this nonsene from Adobe.Im using all current software, and my PC is able to handle the workload just fine. Does anyone have asolution to this problem??Can Adobe get their butts in gear and work on fixing issues!

All this works as expected. Adding item to queue for transcoding is very slow in Encoder 2023. Any suggestions how to change this?

Hi,I'm trying to use the Roto Brush for the first time.When in 'Layer', I selected the area, and once pressed the space bar - it took forever to render...and didn't show any progress. please see attached pic. Any suggestions?

I am getting regular BSOD with the lastest version of ME. It happens precisely when new renders are kicking off.After restart I get maybe two or 3 renders ... then it happens again.

When I export Video/Media from Animate I often receive the error message: Adobe Media Encoder failed to encode with the following exception :TypeError: null is not an object.I got the message when I was working with the Classroom in a Book lesson files but did not bother to deal with it because I did not need an mp4 but thought it strange that a file, provided by Adobe Press, I could not export.On November 4 and December 7 I was able to export from animations without a problem.Yesterday I exported an animation to mp4 and it worked too, thought the problem was solved.Today I worked over some details in the animation from yesterday, saved it with a new name, wanted to export it to mp4 and got the error message. Testing the animation from the day before I was able to export, today I could not export it anymore.I noticed that there is an update for Media Encoder, updated, made a restart, it did not help.Tested an animation from an Adobe Press lesson file, also get the error

Hello,For years I've been happily importing MOV files into Adobe Media Encoder but for some reason I now get an error message telling me that I cannot do so as file format is not supported.  Does anyone please know why this could be, or indeed have any suggestion as to how I can work around this as it's rather crucial to my workflow?Thanks in advance for any help.Mark.

I have media encoder, premiere pro and after effects, i pay for that, and it doesn't work, i've tried reinstalling it, i've tried a tutorial on youtube that said to reorder the folders, i've tried older version and nothing working.Now im running the latest versions of each program to the date (i've updated them yesterday 6/3/2023) and I still can't render on Media Encoder. I pay for an app that doesn't work, nice job.proof that it is indeed installed (in the same disk and all)  

Estou tendo problemas ao renderizar vídeos pela placa de vídeo. Agora só exporta alguns vídeos pelo processador. Estou muito descontente e pensando seriamente em não pagar mais essa assinatura que só vem bugs e bugs em todos os softwares! Era mais feliz quando usava crackeado

Been having issues with the new Premiere export panel since it was introduced: 1) when I want to overwrite a previous file with the same name, Premiere gives me the "this will overwrite..." window.  Click okay.  Send to Media Encoder.  It'll still export with a "_1" at the end. 2) My video has a captions track.  Captions are turned off in the Premiere export panel.  Send to Media Encoder.  It exports with captions burned in.  Or conversely, I turn on Burn In Captions in the Premiere Export panel, send to Media Encoder, Captions panel is greyed out and there's no option to turn them on at all. I'd resort to exporting direcly from Premiere but since there's no preview window, you never know what you're gonna get until the file finishes rendering.  Might have offline footage since Premiere and AE linked media don't always seem to talk to each other and need a restart (another bug), might have captions burned in when you turned them of

After updating Media Encoder I am unable to launch the App beyond the Error Message: "Adobe Media Encoder cannot create folder: Presets. Please check permissions and restart the application."I have already tried creating a Presets folder in User/Adobe/Adobe Media Encoder/23.2/Presets but still get the same error.I am on Mac OS 13.2.1 - it was running perfectly well until I updated the app. I have restarted, I have restarted in Safe Mode - which fixed the launch issue with the updated Premier - all to no avail.Could really use some assistance. Same issue with Premiere Pro - all other updates zero issues

Howdy, I'm receiving content as image sequences, and transcoding to a video format. I have been unsuccessful in using Watch Folders to perform this task. As soon as sequences begin transferring to the watch folder, AME begins encoding each image as individual videos.  Is there a way to flag a watch folder as containing image sequences? I would expect that after 5 minutes of inactivity the transcode would start.  Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

Hello! When I want to export my composition in Media Encoder from After, the Media Encoder opens and nothing happens. As if it wasn't able to connect. I updated both After and Media Encoder to the newest versions but it still doesn't work.

Hi there,Using media encoder 2022. I have test.jsx script contains alert("Hello");I have batch script run.bat which contains below."C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro 2022\Adobe Premiere Pro.exe" --console es.processFile "test.jsx" When executed.Media encoder shows error and doesn't execute. But, tried the same from console of media encoder with below command.es.processFile "test.jsx"It works fine and alert pops up. Tried other commands in bat file es.executeScript , es.process ,  --executescript.None seems to work.How to solve this? Did anyone solve this?

Boa Noite! Estou com um problema! Não estou a conseguir desistalar as duas versões do Encoder (v. 23.2.1 e v. 22.6.4) que tenho no meu computador portátil. Já tentei várias vezes pela Creative Cloud e não estou a conseguir fazê-lo, e até já tentei pela Adobe na net mesmo e também não dá...Por alguma razão, acho que também me está a impedir de instalar o After Effects.Se alguém me pudesse ajudar, ficaria muito agradecida, até porque tenho trabalho para fazer no After Effects e não o posso fazer por causa desta situação toda.Obrigada pela atenção!
