I exported a 35minute project using adobe media encorder and after playing the exported clip there was only sound for like 5mins, the rest of the sound was missing but there is audio in the timeline and it is audible when it's played from adobe premiere pro My PC specifications: OS - Microsoft Windows 10 ProCPU - Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4690 Ram - 16gm ddr3 GPU - gtx960 How to fix this? I use Premiere Pro 2019 and Adobe Media Encorder 2019
Error message:"Could not connect to Adobe After Effects 2022. Please verify that Adobe After Effects 2022 is installed." I started getting this message after both AE and AME were updated to 22.6. Both programs are on the same version. I tried going back to a previous version (22.4) for both AE and AME, but I'm still recieving that error message when I try to add an AE project to the queue. When sending the render from AE to AME, AME launches but no comps appear in the queue. Something even stranger, After Effects doesn't show up on the list of installed apps on the CC app. After Effects is definitely installed. Any ideas on why AE won't show up on the CC app? Any ideas on how to fix the dynamic link problem? Not sure if this matters but I'm on a Mac Studio running Monterey (12.6)
When I ask in After Effect to export and add to Adobe Media Encoder queue, Media Encoder opens but nothing is added to the queue, my work cannot be exported! I work on Mac Studio and the 2 software as well as Mac OS are up to date.
Adobe Media Encoder v22.6 is now available for download from Creative Cloud desktop app. This update includes important bug fixes & is recommended for all users. List of issues fixed in v22.6 Fixed an issue where if you try to create proxies from interpreted clips, Premiere Pro sends the clips to Adobe Media Encoder flagged with their original frame rate. The resulting proxy is out of sync with the interpreted footage. The export sequence API call returns false when the provided sequence name can not be found in the project. Audio missing from AVCHD spanned clips with AC3 audio (macOS only). Complete documentation New features Fixed issues Known issues
Hello,I was using ME to format a bunch of videos that have very specific specs:Video - Bitrate range, Codec High Profile levels, loudness normalizer settings, and all are good. The one thing that doesnt hold is the AAC codec which is requsted. When I choose it and select 192 kbps, that value changes when I check the final MP4. Its aroundf 188, which fails the publishers needs. If I choose MPEG instead of AAC, I can hold the value at 192 when testing. Can someonbe help me figure out why I cant get the AAC codec to stay at 192 after the file compresses? Thanks in advance for anyone that may be able to help here.Cheers,Babs
As my subject line says, I updated to 22.4 and now I do not have the option to "Interpret Footage" (it's greyed out) after I send my footage from Premiere Pro to Media Encoder. If you aren't familiar with the 120FPS workaround, I interpret 120fps footage to 23.976 in PP and in ME so I avoid the 60fps issue. I have now downgraded to (22.3.1) until there is a solution. Really hurts my workflow.
When I render the AEP file which I sent in the wetransfer link. The Macbook Pro (16-inch, M1, 2021) 16 GM RAM renders it in 30-37 minutes, but MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020) 16 GB RAM renders it in 13 minutes maximum. There seems to be a problem here.https://we.tl/t-lfgr0BH23nWhen we brought the 16 inch device to the Apple service for performance issues. They sent it back to us saying that there is no problems with the device.I am sending both of the devices' log files. Although we have no errors in the 13 inch device, we recevive this error in the 16 inch one:We have timed out on an async source. This probably shouldn't happen and will result in performance problemsWhen we continue using Adobe After Effects, the device becomes slower. When we restart it. The render time usually goes down but still has a huge gap between the older device.
Hi all,I'm trying to export an After Effects project as an mp4 (H.264), but at about 90% complete, it will fail. I was strugglign with major blocking issues in some transitions when rendering in ME from PR. I was using settings in PR that resulted in a pop-up message saying that my hardwarew woudl not support the combo and PR stayed on Software only for the encoding. I then export to ME. In ME I am set in the dropdown in the encoding window to use hardware. Even though PR said to render with software, ME followed the settign in the dropdown and used hardware. Once I noticed this disconnect I changed ME to use software and then the blocking on transitions went away. In particular I was using a VBR 2-pass encoding that the hardware option does not support. Should ME have an option to follow whatever PR says to use instead of using somethign that does not work? Since ME can queue up lots of renders, not all of which will work with hardware, it seems wrong to override what PR indicates and use the default in the ME window.
Hi. Using AE beta daily on M1. It's been great. Only issue I see which isn't much is a little lag in the timline when selecting all. Typically to reset layers to all unopen I will hit command A then hit P twice to select position adn once to reduce everything. in regular AE this would just happen instantaineously. On M1 beta, theres a second or 2 lag in returning all to miimized. Can ME beta be set to the default app when exporting from AE? When I export from AE the legcy version of ME always opens by default. Thanks.
Media Encoder tells me im running low on diskspace, and that i have to free at least 1GB, but i have 80 GB free diskspace on internal harddrive, and 400 GB on my portable where the video-footage is. there are no partitions on my disks. Anyone else have this problem?
I made a few homemade videos while on holiday and edited them with Premiere Pro and After Effects. I used Media Encoder to to allof the rendering. I used Premier Pro first and rendered that into a Quicktime Movie and them finished it up in After Effects. For Comparison, renvered the final version into both Quicktime and H264. The settings for both Quicktime Renders (After being finished with Premiere Pro and the final item) are the same. Both used 59.94mps, 1080p, which matched the raw data. I used the Apple ProRes 422HQ CODEC, which did not allow me to modify the bitrate, so I assume it keeps the original. For the H264 version of the final video, I used the same CODEC, Apple ProRes 422HQ but downgraded the frame rate to 29.97. I used a 2-pass Bitrate, with the ideal at 10 and the max at 15. The final item is about 8 mins long. Playing them side-by-side I saw extremely minimal difference. I paid atttention to the colors and c
Hello,I've tried more than 10 times rendering a particular video from Premiere, and each time the same problem happens: the render stops at random times, from 1/2 way through to 3/4 through. The progress bar just doesn't move anymore. It usually takes a while for Media Encoder to actually stop the rendering, then it gives different reasons and different timeframes for the bug.I've tried exporting with Premiere several times, but same thing. I've already un-installed re-installed Premiere but no difference, currently doing the same with Media Encoder... After having searched on the forum, I tried deleting the particular frame mentionned in the error message, didn't help; also tried leaving it render with absolutely nothing else oppened on my pc, so it had maximum power, didn't help either.Any suggestions? The video is ten minutes long, rendered at rather low quality, should only weigh 28 Mo's.Thanks!
Hey all, I can't start media encoder. I have already restarted my macbook and mediaencoder is up to date. Does anybody know how to solve it?
Hey there, So I recently upgraded to the latest version of CC and I am trying to render a project via Media Encoder as a H.264 file and the program is struggling to make the dynamic link to the project. If and when it finally does, the render freezes. I have deleted and customised momory and cache. I've restarted the computer. Checked that all apps were upgraded and the problem still prevails. I did manage to render the composition as an .mov in the native rendering system of After effects, but its not nearly as seemless as using ME. Would love any further assistance. I work on an iMac 2016 model. 32GB memory. Quad Core. Graphics AMD Radeon R9 M395 2 GBThanks!
HiI'm running PP and AME 22.6.1 on Mac Monterey OS.I'm not able to export with Media Encoder. The queue gets stucked without starting the exporting. I already tried to uninstall ad re-install PP and AME. I already tried to check privacy privilegs. Thanks for any help.
The new versions of the Media encoder (22.6) are insanely slow and render AE project scenes incredibly long on Mac M1 chips. I've tested on several scenes working with multiple 3D versions, lights, bitmaps and what 22.6 renders in 20 hours, build 22.3 renders in 20 minutes! Isn't it possible to do something about it?
I've encountered a strange bug. I have captions and an After Effects lower third on two different tracks on a timeline. Using Mac OSX 10.13.4, AME 12.1, Premiere 12.1.If I render out of Premiere, no problems. If I send to AME and try to render, the caption track renders as "Media Offline".If I delete all content such that only the caption and the AE clips exist, the caption track renders as "Media Offline".However, if I delete the AE content (turning off visibility doesn't do it) then the captions will render normally in AME.It doesn't matter where on the timeline the two are; if both the captions and the AE clip exist together in the sequence, the captions will render as "Media Offline" in AME. Very weird.Manual fixes are difficult because I have 50 or so timelines to render.Anyone come across this?
Hi,I use dell ailenware x15 laptop, with i7-12700H / 16GB Ram / 3060ti for laptop / windows 11I'm redering some video made by after effect using media encoder, but only 4 Threads usage near 100%, others average is 10~15%.CUDA accelerate enabled. Why they're not working? How can I use all thread for render?
Hi,for a few days now, every time I export an after effects project in adobe media encoder in H.264 format, the export stops at the very end of the export and doesn't advance any further.I don't understand why. It's a very simple video, in this case a video of barely 20 seconds and very little power. In the attachment, the export was blocked like that for 2 hours Would you have a solution? Thanks a lot.
Would it be possible to have the most updated premiere and ae dynamic link implementation? BC having ME 22 acting slower than the sun through the day, would not be nice with ME beta unable to surpass this version issue.
Hey folks. It does not make sense, but since one of the latest updates CC2022 some of my exported files have artifacts (digital hits) and audio drop outs.Smart rendering shoud prevent from additional QC, but Premiere and/or AME does not do the job very well. We recognized 1 frame audio outs and digital video artifaces. There are no render processes (output parameters are exectly the same like input (resolution, codec, color space, ...) and there is no preview), so I have no clue why this happens. Right now we are back on CC2021, because the errors are completely random. I found no other users, but we tested different workstations. So it seems to be a software problem. We are on iMacPro MacOS 10.15.7 and used the latest version of Premiere and AME.
When I add my project from After Effects to Media encoder, Media encoder opens but does not show my project in Media encoder queue and when I add my project manualy by hitting + , it asks me about the compositin file and after that it renders the project without the footage videos!
When I send projects from After Effects into Media Encoder they usually render quite quickly, in a few hours at most. For some reason, videos over 20 minutes are taking over 40 hours to render. This didn't used to happen. Why is this happening?
