Adobe Media Encoder

Working on a PC with Windows 10. Due to a problem with using AME in my old CS6 install (it can't connect to Dynamic Link server when trying to load or process PPro CS6 projects) I decided to try Premiere Pro CC on my faster 96GB Threadripper system. If it works, it might be worth a monthly subscription fee. Now, if I try to load any of my PPro CS6 projects, both PPro CC and AME CC crash. These projects load fine into PPro CS6.  This does not pump me full of confidence in spending money every month on a CC subscription. What are my options for troubleshooting this? My only option right now is to render each individual project in a single install of PPro CS6, which will take forever and I'll have to ride shotgun on it to see when one job finishes so I can start up the next.

For a couple of days ME doesn't seem to be using the acceleration of my 1080 GPU anymore. The projects I create with After Effects have been identical for months and months but when I use ME the time difference is huge.I create musical projects that are sometimes even longer than an hour.Below I leave written the time difference that I have received from 2 days.A 70 minute project ME used me scarce 7 minutes of time now instead it asks me for almost 40.My projects are still image (HD 720p) accompanied by the audio aspect of After Effect and this is the exact same project that I have been using for months.I have not made any changes to my pc I have only updated the Nvidia drivers.Below I also leave written my components of which I work.Intel Core i7-6850k.16 gb ram.GTX 1080.Can anyone help me to solve this problem?I await answers. 

Hey there.My team and I are searching for a compact solution for a big upcoming event.The goal is to stream 1 Signal with only 1 PC to 2 different social media platforms (YouTube and Facebook) at the same time with only 1 software, so it's easier to overview.I'm able to change the different bit rates in FMLE 3.2, does this mean that there is a way to stream so two different FMS URLs?Hope for a quick answer,thanks!Greets from Germany

I'm on a Monterey 12.1 macbook pro I need for work and if I want to make an alpha export it seems impossible on this thing. Is there any fix for this? When I drag he comp into AME I get this:Encoding Failed------------------------------------------------------------Could not read from the source. Please check if it has moved or been deleted. It hasn't been moved or deleted.

hello,I did some composition in AE.Black caption on transparent background. I then export this composition into Adobe Media Encoder.What do I have to do (in AE and in ME) so that the end result is still black caption on transparent background?Thanks for any help!

Background: I edit numerious TV programs and segments to time every week, and sometimes, in a pinch I use Time Tuner. Isssue: Very often, when the Time Tuner effect is applied, audio drops out after the first few minutes of the export. Normally the first 10-20% of the export has audio and it is complete gone from the rest of the export. This seem to happen regardless of the types of media assets or export type. This happens to about 90% of my exports from sequnces using Time Tuner.  I have had this issue on numerious edit machines dating back to when Time Tuner launched in 2015. My current workaround is to export the video without Time Tuner, and then re-export the video with Time Tuner applied, but recently, this has also had the dropped audio after the first few minutes of the export.  Anyone have any suggestions or better workarounds?  Edit systems used:-2019 MacBook Pro: Intel i9, Radeon Pro 560X, macOS 12.0.1, Media Encoder 22.0 -Razen 5900X

I recently updated to the latest versions of AE 18.0 and ME 15.0, running on macOS Big Sur - 11.2.3 and I'm no longer able to export/render via ME, despite trying the below:When clicking the Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue... it opens up ME but shows nothing in the queue to render.I've also tried adding the comp to ME manually, but that seems to get stuck on Connecting to Dynamic Link server... (See attached) and eventually says Could not read from the source. Please check the settings and try again.Adobe, please can you advise?

I just did a round of updates to Premiere Pro (22.1.2) and Media Encoder (22.1.1). Running on MacOS Monterey 12.1, Intel. All media in my PP sequence is online, but when I export it in AME, certain clips that are ProRes in my sequence are being rendered/exported with the offline graphic. I've deleted the media cache, but that did not help. But oddly if I DO NOT use AME and simply export from PP, it renders and exports correctly.  Anyone else having this issue? Thoughts on how to fix it? Thanks,Dave

Hey All,No matter what I do, I cannot get rid of meta data.I've turned metadata off in both the media encoder settings and the Aftercodecs Settings and i'm still getting meta data written into my renders.please see attached imagesHelp would be much appreciate.Cheers.

First time I've used AME 22.3 and I do not like it at all. ME has never been the greatest, but this release is horrid. I have a project that I cannot render whether I use the queue or do a direct export from the project. It hangs with 16 seconds remaining every time. Anyone else experiencing this kind of behavior??

Kinda stupid, but I once put the "don't ask again" option on that pop up appearing when I stop a current queue, I said "finish the current conversion before stopping" and "don't ask again". Now it doesn't ask anymore but it also doesn't finish the current conversion and stops it in the middle. Which is really annoying cause when starting it again, there's another error sayin it can't override the file, even if I asked to override in the options. And so I need to always find that half converted proxy, delete it, and restart the conversion. Any solution on either1) how to find that pop up again ?2) how to successfully override files Thanks !

Hello. Starting two days ago After Effects, Media Encoder, and Premiere will crash without freezing. After Effects and Premiere will close as soon as I attempt to import footage into any project file, Media Encoder will close as soon once it fully opens. Only Media Encoder logs an error in Event Viewer, listed below.. I tried reinstalling and same issue.I also tried downgrading Media Encoder from 22.3 to 15.4.1 and After Effects from 22.3 to 14.4.1. In terms of Premiere, I can make a new project or open a previous. I tried download the latest update for Media Encoder and it renders out too many files...  Rendering out mp4 H264 file which in normal.  I also want to FTP it and it all should render out 2 files mp4 and SRT file due to Closed Captioning.  Now it not only renders the mp4 but antoher mp4 with FTP extiontion and Burns the Closed captionion into video.. Its not to do that.  Is the somewhere I can find how to correctly use and or set up this so It only renders mp4 and SRT file and then Transmittis FTP.... thats what I want and need.  Thanks!

My composition in After Effects contains video but when I add it to the Adobe Media Encoder Queue, it shows that it is an audio file. I have no idea why. Help me with this?Thank you.

When I try to import a downloaded YouTube video or movie in .mkv format I get the error message. Some .mp4 files work strangely enough.  

Failed update of After Effects 22.3 and Media Encoder 22.3 slows done and/or does not finnish the rendering, freezes or does not start. Tried small and large files. Worked fine before update..... Any known fixes or ongoing analyzis?

I am trying to download an after effects project to my computer so im using media encoder, i've used it for a while now but ever since i updated it, my video will download until i have about 5 seconds left and then it pauses and wont download completely. I have a gateway windows laptop with 8 gb of ram so ae and media encoder run fine.

Hi everyone,Media Encoder 14.5 just won't let me import any file at all. When I drag and drop a file it won't appear in the queue, the cursor is a hand with the "no" sign...I'm working on an 2019 iMac with macOS Catalina 10.15.7Does anyone else have this problem?Thank you!

I'm trying to export files with closed caption using (.mxf / EX 1080 60i / with side care .ssc) via Media Encoder.  Once I hit "Queue" in Premiere, Media Encoder opens and it appears to load, then it just hangs.  It says its exporting but nothing happens.  I have to quite the export and end up having to export the file dirrectly from the Premiere timeline which then means I cant do anything else in Premiere till the file export is complete.  Anyone else have this issue?  I can replicate it on multiple Macs and a PC.  

When I export a video as an MP4 using a modified Youtube preset, it creates two MP4 files. One contains the video as intended, the other has a set of numbers added to the end of the filename, and is 0 kb in size.  Media Encoder was not doing this a week or so ago with the same preset when I would export MP4's. Any ideas why this might be happening.  Thanks

Since I got my Macbook Air with M1 I never was able to render anything in Media Encoder without any issues. Thanks god I have an windows PC as an alternative, but I don't want to give up. on a MacOS I do the same thing as in Windows 10.1. Select AF Composition 2. export to Media Encoder 3. Output: H.264 high/mid/ bitrate 4. renderIt never finishs. Sometime it stops after 2 minutes, sometimes after 5 minutes. I have to restart the Macbook to make Media Encoder work again.  I dont have any complicated files. Pngs, video material, text animations. I don't have any problems in windows with the same settings, so do you know what might be the problem? Fun Fact: Rendering the AE composition after importing it into Premiere Pro works...  😄   MacOS 12.3.1After Effect 22.3Media Encoder 22.3
