Adobe Scan

Hi, I had a 400 page pdf in-progress and I went to try and move a page and accidentally somehow exited to the documents page. I cannot get back to the pdf. Is there any place I can go to recover where I left off or am I out of luck here? Thanks

What is this setting option for and what does it do if I allow the use of mobile data?I couldn't find any information in the help about the setting and what the use of mobile data could be useful for.Can someone explain me?Kind regards.

Hi!I scanned 64 pages in the app. Although the quality is very good, OCR does not work. Can I edit the files afterwards in Adobe Scan mobile? I have already saved it and find no appropriate way.Thanks in advance! Best regards.

I want to save my scan as a PSD on my iPad.Seems to only support pdf, and I need a conpucomto convert it and copy it back to iPad.Want to scan or convert on iPad alone.Thanks

i have old documents that were scanned and saved as PDFs I would like to import them and scan them so they could be searchable.  But the best I can see is to take screen prints one page at a time. Really?What am I missing?

Looking at the text recognition languages I see greek is not included. I suppose because it does not belong to the latin family. Is there a plan to include it too?

So if all scans need to go to the Adobe Cloud for processing, then this App should not be used to scan Sensitive, Personal Identifiable Information (PII) such as documents containing Social Security Numbers, etc., right???If True, then the App is too dangerous to use.

Can’t delete any files. Error: file could not be delete. I had tried to change wi-fi to cellular data, but it didn’t work.

Hello, is it possible to connect or make the folder where Adobe Scan files are saved automatically sync to my Creative Cloud storage account on my PC as a subfolder?

Scanned in a bunch of old school notes and on my last batch program crashed. All recent scans lost. Checked all locatio, nothing. Horrible app.

The Adobe scan app has the potential to be a great product for doing archival work. However, a feature that is sorely missing is a remote shutter feature. This is a critical feature that allows the app to be used on a tripod without physically touching the camera.Adobe -- PLEASE -- look into an option to remote click a picture. The iPhone photo app already has this option. A pair of headphones, Bluetooth keyboard or remote can snap a picture.We also need the flexibility to use an external macro lens for close up shots of small text. The focus and zoom are too grainy through the app alone.This will save my back and arms countless hours in archival scans and photography.Thanks!

I've noticed that there are no settings for default 'Image Cleaning option'.There should be settings for that. Otherwise, if I want a document to be grayscale on all pages I've to change the cleaning option for all the pages one by one.There's another  suggestion,When changing the cleaning option for one page, long pressing on the option should provide with a menu to change the cleaning option for 'All pages' and 'All following pages'

The only reason, I don't use Adobe Scan:I have 13 MP camera. But shot images are not clear enough when I zoom in.

Now I can't figure out how to go back and change it. I'm very new to the iPhone, I have a 5s. Totally new to this cross-device business. I can't find anyplace on the phone to change it, nor in the Scan program itself. Help?

Hi, I started using this App to scan my documents a few months ago. All of the suddenly, when i launch the app last week, i realized all my older files are all gone. The only remaining files are those that i scanned a few weeks ago. Can anyone please help? Many thanks!

I am changing screen captures  (saved as images) into pdf files.  Autocrop is aggressive, and in some cases, it takes away as much as 2/3 of the information (mostly text) from the image.  I have also had it skew lines on images, but not text or images, significantly.Please help me to turn off optimization (skew and crop), especially for screen captures.  I would like to have the option of cropping them myself.  Software is not capable of properly determining which text is important and what can be cropped, AI or not.Thanks, Dave

Hello Friends,I wonder if someone can assist me. I made the mistake of swiping down on a user interface feature in the main window at the bottom of the screen which said, “Scan document”. This hid that feature unfortunatel.I have been trying to find how I can get this back but cannot find how to do it.If anyone knows how, I would be grate full hearing from you.Many thanks in advance!

No doubt this is an incredible app with efficient functions.but, when we can be able to reach it in China on iOS?

In the latest update of the Adobe scanner the documents are automatically searched and recognized. However,  often this function does recognize only part of the document, so that the scan is not the complete document. As far as I can see there is no manual function for correcting the frame of the scan area and there is no possibility to cancel the automatic document search.How to solve this problem?

i would like to import receipts into QuickeN mobile  at their trimmed and optimized size but it appears that the only options now are PDF and the entire camera image saved to Photos. QuickeN mobile will currently only attach  images from Photos, no PDFs.  The ability to save a jpg version of the processed file would be handy for other apps also. Hopefully QuickeN will support PDFs soon as it would be nice to be able to search for items on receipts. I have to use Neat Receipts, or something similar, currenrly to accomplish this — doubling my workflow.

I've asked this off every other Android scanner app developer and have yet got a reply. When I open up a 'greyscale' pdf created in a scanner app I  Acrobat pro I've noticed that they are always faux greyscale. That is, the images are saved in 3 channel, 24 bit RGB, not 8 grey.I just installed this app but haven't tested it to see if it does the same, but I somehow suspect so. Given the data savings and the limited storage of mobile devices, I would have thought every effort would be made to give the users a chance to make smaller files.And going even further, why not a pure 1bit black and white option? Given the high resolution of many device cameras now, 1 bit would be more than fine for good readability and faster /easier sharing/printing and storage. I've tested 1bit converted versions of pdfs made on Android apps and they function fine for viewing (with my Samsung Note 4, it's a 400 dpi embedded image). What's more, the pure bw versions are anywhere from 1/4 to 1/10 the file
