Jan 2019 - Adobe Media Encoder gets slower/more cumbersome with every update. I don't mean to just complain, but right now when I want to work with .mp4 anything in the Adobe world, I'm consistently now saying, "%&#*@, how can I avoid using AME? I actually have things to do today..."

Alright, a little bit of progress: Converting an Ellipse to a Path produces way more problems than just drawing it as a path originally (holding Alt while creating the shape). Will post more details/videos as I go

Alright, let's go through this: "It works how it always has." - Not disagreeing. I've had this problem for years, I've just struggled with it repeatedly until just doing it over different ways straightened it out, but I don't what I did that caused how the shape tween to interpret it differently. What I'm asking is how to adapt my workflows. I don't know how After Effects calculates transitioning a circle to a square over a duration. What I'm not looking for is "Shape shrinks all the way down to completely gone, and then pops back into the new shape." There are often times where I'm morphing something with X amount of points into something with Y amount of points. This works sometimes for me, often it doesn't. I can see that as me needing to change my workflow, but I don't understand why it works sometimes and not others. Furthermore, this "problem" is almost ALWAYS there when I copy and paste a shape from Illustrator, whereas redoing it in AE makes it happen less often. Essentially, I'm asking how to work with the program better as I don't understand the calculations it's doing.

Often in PS CS6, if I have made a text box, and then I try to scale the bounds of the text box, I only get the rotate handles when I hover over the dotted line text box. I have to cancel out, and often just make a new text box before I can scale or move the bounds. And by scale, I don't mean enlarge the text, I'm talking about dragging/moving the bounds of the text box. Does anyone else have this problem? It's extremely annoying.
In the attached screen, there is a dotted line text box around the 22. If I were to hover over/around it, all I would get are the rotate handles. Nothing to scale the box.

I'm having an issue with locked text layers. In the following video, I try and edit the text in a locked text layer. It doesn't allow me (as it shouldn't) but then shortcut keys no longer work. I unlock the layer, manually click on the type tool, then try and edit the text in the (now) unlocked layer. The text inserts all my keystrokes that I had been hitting. I can't imagine this is how it's supposed to work. I'm currently using Photoshop CC 2014 on OSX 10.8.5, but I'm positive I've seen this happen in previous versions, I've only now realized what was happening. In CC 2014, sometimes it locks every layer inside a group, other times it does not. e.g: Case 1 - Lock the group, and then unlock the group, all layers inside unlocked. Case 2 - Lock the group and then unlock the group, all layers inside independently locked.

Hi David - I've toggled off Dictation as well as the keyboard shortcut. (Double pressing fn) The problem has still been persisting after some use in PS. Restarting PS fixes it temporarily. To the best of my knowledge though, Dictation and the keyboard shortcut are toggled off.

Photoshop CC on Mavericks: Turning off dictation solved this for like half a day. Problem started happening again. Turned off dictation, restarted comp, problem is still occurring.
