I'll try when I find the time. I noticed yesterday in a .ai with over 100 layers, if you 'ungroup' something it seems to go though all the 'layers' quickly to sort things out.   It's new since v29!  Never ever had this problem on mac, Illustrator was lightning fast. But now with ungrouping or and even Sending layers to Front or BACK, there is a delay! 1 to 2 seconds you cannot use the mouse! very annoying.   ... View more

Faster?    I don't know what you guys did starting from v29 but it has so much delays lately! Everytime you do a 'outline' of a text or a 'ungroup' it is 'busy' for 1 or 2 seconds. It ads up if you do these things 200x a day! It seems like illustrator is 'selecting' all the objects first when you ungroup them. You see a little selection cross 'x' moving and then your mouse is free to use again. It is so annoying!   And I was on a imac Pro (intel) but since last week i'm on a new Mac Studio Ultra M3!  Fresh install of all adobe products and I have the same issue! Omg I hate the 'hover' over the Video/HideVideo or Lock slots. It's so confusing! I turn of the visibility of a layer, the eye was white, but because your mouse is still over the box it will show a greyed out eye.. Damn right! Let us as users choose what we want and think is necessary.  So many stupid things that don't work.   I found 2 big Mogrt Bug's myself. One is that a video that resides in precomps and it offset multiple times will not get replaced the right way in premiere; And the other that embedded video files end up as missing video files (colored bars) when clients open the files! One that's inside the basic AE/mogrt project. A simpel count from 1 to 5. When you open the AE you see I have the 'videosource' comp that holds the .mov. That 'videosource' comp is used in the Maincomp as a background. And it is used few times in the Precomp! In the precomp the 'pink' layers are offset and freezed on end. The blue layers are freeze frames of the different number.   So I made the same .mov but it counts from 6 to 10, which you can use to replace! If you would replace the 12345.mov in AE with the 678910.mov comp it would work just fine. But with a single mogrt replacement it does NOT work in PP.  For the record I dropped in the '12345.mov' from videosource comp as the mediareplacement.  ... View more

The videosource layer contains a .mov Prores. (Sorry I typed mp4 above but the comp contains a .mov prores) Is it better to just add a still for the duration that will get replaced with a .mov or .mp4?   I fixed it for now by adding 4x the source itselfs from the 4 different comps, so they just replace 4 items in PP.
