Without opening another new thread.
I just opened a 24 project that uses the 'counter countdown monospaced' preset.
The expressions are screwed up!
I added the new 'preset' from 25 but that also has a glitch.
In standard mode, if you keyframe a number from 900,000 to 2 500 000. It will jump from 999,999 to 2000000 and skip the 1 million.

Hi @Multipasser,
(For clarity, I've broken out this question into a separate Discussion thread.)
To the first issue—that the expressions from the counter in the project from version 24.x are broken in 25.0—this is unfortunately due to a breaking change in the underlying JavaScript expression engine. The counter presets that ship with 25.0 have been updated to work with the change, but existing projects from 24.0 will show an error if "Show Grouping Separators" is enabled. The easiest fix is to reapply the new Counter Countdown Monospaced preset (as you've done) but the expression itself can be updated as well: in the expression on the Source Text property, on line 19, replace "effect("Counter Countdown Controls")(11).value" with "true".
To the second issue—animating from 900,000 to 2,500,00—what is your 10x Value Multiplier set to on the Counter Countdown Monospaced effect control? I was able to animate smoothly between those same values by setting 10x Value Multiplier to 5 and animating the Animate Value between 90 and 250. Let me know if that works for you and which settings were not working. Also, ensure you check that the easing between the two keyframes on Animate Value is linear and is not creating any overshoot.
Cheers,
