It was on an external disk. Nearly all the projects now read "Zero bytes". I'm unable to import them into a new project. I'm told: "The project appears to be damaged, it cannot be opened"

I am not using CF based media. It is a very real and serious issue. Please address. And please remove the "completed" marker because it's not fixed. There are several recent comments of people reporting the same problem. Search box occasionally unusable – Adobe video & audio apps

That was not the case with my project. I have the same issue with new projects as with old projects updated to the current version. It's outrageous to not be able to search a Premiere project with hundreds of clips. Please fix instead of dismissing this issue as "a dumping ground for everyone". This problem is real, frustrating, and serious.
