Very interesting question, I may not know all the answers some of my thoughts. 1. I presume you are supplying images that you have created from RAW images imported into LrC 15. 2. First you need to ensure that you have not applied a preset at import that involves an AI function, e,g. Adaptive Color. 3. The following functions can be manually applied from the Develop Module. Denoise, Masks, Generative AI, Reflection Removal, People, Dust removal and maybe others are all manually invoked. I am not sure if there is any option to disable all of them. @Benoît31706986ftnz , You indicate you are using "Negative Lab Pro" scan and these files are showing the poor quality. Please provide specific details of the process you are using. Negative Lab Pro has its own profiles. Can you change the headline of the thread so users will be attracted and respond accordingly. In 2021 I used NLP to scan negatives about 2000 in all the best quality I was able to get was using my Camera to capture RAW images. This required purchasing a back light and some other items.   ... When you click the Delete button the is a popup that has two options " Remove from the Lightroom Catalog":if you click this option the Data in the Catalog is removed the image file is not Deleted, thedata is not recoverable.  I you click on the second option " Delete from Disk " the image file is moved to the trash / recycle bin The original image file can be recovered from there.   ... @Wolfgang Lienbacher , you need to be aware the Default option of LrC is not to write XMP to the file, when you are working with LrC the application is reading and writing to the Catalog file. LrC can function without XMP files. When you import images into LrC and there is XMP data available the data will be reading,  LrC does not "Automatically Read info from XMP files, this requires a manual input from the user. There is an Option in the Catalog settings to Automatically Write Metadata to XMP, however this is not a primary function so info is first written to the Catalog. The XMP data is necessary to share info to Bridge/ Camera Raw of other applications. When you have the option selected performance will be affected particularly if you are using edits using AI functions like Denoise etc. You can pause the Auto Write to XMP when carrying out these functions and unpause it again when you have finished your editing. ...
