@Sameer K Sorry, I misunderstood, I thought I was making one stack of images similar to the one I selected and I see now that it just goes through the entire folder and makes stacks of what it thinks is similar. Not quite the functionality I would like to see. What I would like to do is select one image and find all images that are similar to that one, ideally across folders as most of my shots are arranged in folders based on the date they were taken. A slider and a preview of what is found would also be nice.

Thanks @Sameer K , I don't seem to be able to see the photos that will be going into the stack, bot the grid and the filmstrip show only the photo selected as selected among all the other photos, which are visible. It would be helpful to see exactly what will be stacked

This sounds very promising, could you please tell me where to find this feature? The only option I can see that might resemble this feature is "(Early Access) Assisted Culling (LrClassic)" but it doesn't really have the type of functionality requested

Lightroom Classic would greatly benefit from a “Select Similar” feature in the Library module. For example, selecting one screenshot (PNG or specific resolution) would allow you to quickly highlight all similar images by metadata or visual similarity. This streamlines deleting screenshots, burst photos, or selecting a set of photos to add to a custom library, or find a particular type of shot. It would save time and reduce clutter when handling large mixed catalogs. I work on Windows, Lightroom Classic version 14.4, and auto-import from Android as well as working with my camera.

Thank you Anubhav, at this point I have done a reinstall. I haven't tried a different administrator accont. However I do have Illustrator installed on another machine, a Dell XPS 17 laptop, same software versions, and the same thing happens. Both have Astute Graphics and Extensis Connect Fonts plugins.

When Illustrator is running it does not show as a running app in Windows Task Manager. Often not a problem but if there is a crash there is no way to close it. The only way to close the app is to restart Windows, so I would consider this a serious issue. While opening it will show in TM while loading then disappear when it is running. This is not a consistent issue, occasionally it opens with AI showing in TM but not often. Sometimes it woill show as com.adobe.adobeSplashKit.GraphicWindowClass… I have tried after disabling all plugins and it is still (inconsistently) a problem. And now remarkably Fresco has suddenly started working again, INCLUDING Vector Brushes. However Photoshop remains broken now. After working absolutely fine until 2 days ago.

OK now suddenly pressure sensitivity has stopped working, with ALL versions of Photoshop! (I have older versions installed as well as 2024, I have unininstalled them all and reinstalled 2024) However it works fine in Illustrator, Animator, and in all other painting, drawing and photo apps (Fresco, Affinity, Krita, Corel Painter, and in handwriting apps). Windows Ink is enabled. I have restarted several times, including with Windows Ink on and off in the tablet driver. Also tried the "PSUserConfig Fix". I use Huion Kamvas 22 and driver is up to date. Nvidia driver is also up to date. Now this is clearly an Adobe issue please don't tell me the Huion tablet driver is dodgy. Windows 11 btw

Thanks Anshul - when "Velocity" is enabled it tapers with velocity only, not pressure - current driver is installed - as said the stylus pressure works fine in pixel brushes in Fresco. It works perfectly everywhere else as would be expected. - Windows ink continues to be enabled in order for stylus pressure to work at all.

Thank you Anubhav, I don't think there is anything more to be gained from a screen recording than here in a screenshot. The line drawn goes from max pressure in the bottom left to minimum top right. On the artboard and in the test window. The brush is the basic 8.0 px round with only pressure dymnamics enabled. Pressure works perfectly on Pixel and Live Brushes. Windows is 23H2 22631.3007 Fresco is 5.01 The tablet is Huion Kamvas 22 GS2202, firmware ver M19t_200716

I'm stumped. These paragraphs have all the same paragraph settings with no overides, all the same character setttings and leading (8pt). Vertical justification of the frame is set to Top. Yet the bottom paragraph has double leading. What can possibly be going on here?

Also it takes a very long time to close, about 2 minutes! And because it doesn't show in Task Manager it can't be force-closed. I have reset prefs, removed cache and reinstalled.
