Yeah... but it's not. Adobe are doing a lot of changes to PP and those outdated (code wise) effects needed to go. Plus they were in the "Obsolete" folder for a number of years. Hi @Pierraxl, thanks very much! 🙂   The effect worked really badly, and the AE one works really well. It depends on how much you want to get into it. I haven't seen any anouncements yet on the Film Impact transitions, but I have them in my latest Beta build. SO AWESOME! These are certainly the best effects/transition packages available. All in PP. You should shout for joy.    Anyway, I'll say it directly now, since you're so late to the party, they've been gone for awhile.   Open a project with any 'obsolete' effect and save it as a preset. Then it will be there in there for your other projects to use. Adobe said so in their announcement of the removal of obsolete effects (finally 🙂 ) the original projects using those effects will continue to be compatible. So, that was the key to know they are still around. Just no shortcut / preset for them. So, on the project screen you set the Scratch Disk locations. It seems like that project has a location that is currently not available or possibly set to Read Only. You gotta fix this.. and maybe even create the needed folders. Though usually PP  will adjust to non-existent folders.     ... View more

You might try to clear the cache. Hold down shift as you start PP from the desktop icon. If you don't mind loosing your preferences, reset those also. You can enter PP w/out 3rd party products one-time if you like.   ... View more

F3, the default is zoom in to the mouse position. No need to hold down anything. Hold down ALT if you want to zoom to the center.   I do wish they would do something with the hand tool. Like most adobe apps, hold down spacebar to activate Hand. On key-up (spacebar) they can start playback if no hand dragging took place. Or at least a keyboard shortcut toggle, hold down the Hand key-toggle, release and it goes back to whatever tool was last selected. I do wish for more shortcut toggles. 😉 ... View more

I just looked for some MTS files and indeed they were not playing audio. I had installed the file from that other thread some time ago, and I just did now which immediatly brought back working audio on Media Player, PP, etc. Potplayer and Vlc played it regardless. ... View more

Thanks for the extra screen shot. Are you my brother 'Tom'? :-), you write a lot like he does. I was hoping you'd post similar timelines from one version to the other. Instead you have  one version showing 3 minutes of timeline and the other showing 4.5 hours. Maybe you can clean that up a bit. My most populated drive has ~ 400gb free, and my most populated drive I use in PP has 600gb free. So, you might gain some performance if you release some space on your drives. All my PP drives are m2. The lone ssd (400gb free) is used for backup, utilities, storage, etc. ... View more
