Adobe XD

Hi all, I'm trying to figure out how to upload my XD website on a domain to make the website working. I now says its 147.289kB. Is that too large for a website?I have checked all my images and they mostly are under 400kB,do you think my images are too large?I also have three podcasts from 20,7MB/113MB/513MB/360kB and one animation from 931kB and video is 18MB. Can you give me any advice how large this files must be saved for web use?

Hi! I can no longer update my link in XD. It worked by lunchtime and then I worked all afternoon and couldnt update it when i was done. About 3 hours later. It says im disconected but im not. Ive tried to make a new file, log out from cc, restart my computer and with diffrent wifis but nothing has worked for days. I have a deadline for monday and dont know what to do. Why i am unable to find XD in Creative Cloud Apps?

I accidentally deleted a file from the Review Links folder, thinking it would only delete the sharing link, but the entire file got deleted instead. How can I recover it? Several months of work were invested in this file.

Hello, I created a web design in adobe xd and this is a cloud file that im working on using my work computer (windows) and my macbook pro. When I created this design I would just drop images onto the design in my work computer. This design looked fine but then today the images not showing up. Its saying "Loading... (file name)"...I asked chat gpt about this and it said that the images links are broken and then it said i should have dragged and dropped the photos into adobe xd which i did. So not if should wait for these images to fix itself or readd them myself.Also if i had to re add them i guess its not the end of the world because thankfully its not a huge project but how i can avoid from this happening again?I would hate for somethign like this to happen again on a big project. Please see screenshots.  

I have created a very simple banner ad (300 x 250 pixels) in Adobe XD. It contains very simple animation/movement by way of the image and type enlarging using the Interaction and Action features. However, I do not know how to save it in a way that can be uploaded to the media company to actually be used. Jpeg files obviously do not work with movement. Can you recommend a solution?   If XD is not the correct application, can someone recommend an Adobe solution to create banner ads with effects that can be directly saved in a media platform (E.g. website banner ad placement)? Surely this exists.

Hi! Does anyone know how can I install Adobe XD? I have a corporate Creative Cloud Suite and the aplication is no longer available there. Old users can see it and download it, but new users cannot do it. Is there a way new users can have the app too?  thanks!  

So, XD is officially done, just like that. First, Creative Cloud Sync gets the axe, and now XD is on the chopping block. Seriously, what is going on over at Adobe? The decision makes zero sense. XD wasn’t just a "nice" prototyping app; it was exceptional. I used it for way more than app design, I used it for brand guide development, because it was such a breeze with XD.And no, I don’t care about Figma. I don’t want to learn yet another app, especially one that’s not even part of my current workflow. Why should I pay for yet another subscription when XD was already included in my Adobe plan and worked perfectly fine? With Creative Cloud Sync gone and now XD being phased out, is my Adobe subscription price going to drop? Because let me tell you, justifying the current cost is becoming harder by the minute. Adobe, are we paying for tools, or are we just funding your corporate whims?

I can see the "Get UI kit..." under files in adobe XD but it only directs me to a help page to learn how to do it. I do not get the option to select which material page I would like to add. I don't know how to trouble shoot this. 

Hello I have problems with my adobe xd files I get an error when trying to open them I get the error 86 and I don't know how I can fix them since the new files that I am making are also being damaged with the same error. Thank you.   <The Tittle was edited by Moderator.>

Is there a way to show the original Image, that I used in an XD project? Like in inDesign. I love the feature "show in finder" in inDesign. Whith that, I can easily find the original files and can export them with Photohop to the desired dimensions. But in XD I can not even get the original filename, once I had to rename them in order to use Auto-Animate.

What is going on with this? I've imported a PNG image from photoshop, and pasted it in XD, inorder to share the web design. When i preview the design in XD, it looks fine. When I click share, and click the share-link the image becomes all blurry and pixelated, when I view it in the browser. What can be done, this is not an acceptable way to share my design

The font in the first image is just off by a smidge. The second image with the highlighted text shows how it should look. I've changed the character spacing, but this is as close as I can get it. What is happening here, and how do I fix it?    

Hi, I have been facing this issue for sometime and my obsession towards Adobe XD is now completely turned into hatred for the tool. I am using Macbook Pro & my prototype in XD was designed with extensive interactions for a fortune customer, to depict various user journeys & personas captured during requirements gathering workshop. As anticipated, the work was well received by the stakeholders and I was in awe of this tool and its capabilities till 3 weeks back. When it was time for me to share the prototype link with my team members, it started giving me heartburns when after reaching 100% everytime, it was spitting out 44:23 error. And guess what, to attain that 100% it took hours together(literally all night long sometimes) just to give me a glimpse of this annoying 44:23 error. I am just frustrated to the core now and regretting for picking this tool for prototyping. Dear community,Since last week, the link between my UI Design Kit file (which contains my client's component library) and my designs has been broken. Suddenly, that file is no longer shared.I informed Adobe last week and requested an update today. They say, "It's a bug, and the team is working on it." There is no timeline for a solution if there is one. So be watchful. Not only is Adobe leaving us in the dark about the future of XD, nor do they provide a convenient migration to another solution (e.g., Figma), but now they are also starting to break stuff.

Hi,I've updated XD to ver. 57.1.12.2, and the artboard titles in all my XD files changed to unreadable texts.It seems like some of the other users have the same issue in different languages.Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks.

Hi,Since last week I haven't been able to click on an element in XD and "Reveal Color in Assets" to inspect what colour has been applied, I have tested this on a few different devices with different Adobe accounts, however none seems to work. Not sure if there is any solution?Thanks.

For some reason, when I try to share a link to present my design, the link is asking for the recipient to log in. My client doesn't have a login. How do I fix this?The design is just one page, with an embedded video. I have also tried to share without the video and same results.

Yes, it’s been a minute, but as an active Creative Cloud user in 2024, I have to ask: Why doesn’t Adobe XD have a Dark Theme yet? Nearly every other Adobe app includes this option, so adding one to XD should be a simple fix for your team. It’s puzzling why this wasn’t available at launch, and it’s long overdue—please let us know when this feature will finally be implemented. While we’re on the topic of updates, Dreamweaver could also use some love. Integrating modern frameworks, supporting the latest CSS/JavaScript standards, and adding real-time collaboration features would bring it back into the spotlight. Hello Community, I would like to know if there is any way to import a .Gif in XD and preview it inside the document without using anima, I ask this because I'm trying to use an animated uploader that was created in adobe animate CC, but it seems impossible to see how the result would be since I am using other components over the animation and it becomes difficult to preview it.   On the same topic, it would be interesting if XD would allow the use of video formats (.gif, .mp4, etc) to be previewed and shared from the platform itself (without using an external extension) it would help to make high fidelity prototypes easily since they don't own an extended animation tool which is sometimes necessary to avoid creating 50+ screens just to make mildly-complex animations.   I'm looking forward to hearing your suggestions and comments on this, thanks!   <Title renamed by moderator>    

After the most recent update I am again unable to edit the text content in existing text boxes in my current XD projects. I am currently on Adobe XD v.26.0.22.5 and Creative Cloud v.5.0.0.354 on OS X 10.14.6. I had this problem last year as well but it eventually went away with an update. Now it has reappeared and I cannot edit my current projects. Additionally I can't even add new text boxes either. I am able to resize and move the text boxes around but cannot modify the content. Anyone else have this issue? I've restarted both XD as well as CC, but that didn't seem to work. Please help!
