Adobe XD

I batch export A LOT of assets in xd. It normally works really well.I diligently label each artboard to that the exported filenames are easy to sort through.Occasionally, the export will just disregard the artboard name and use a default file name "asset-1.jpg", "asset-2.jpg", etc.See attached screenshots listing the artboard names vs the artboard exports.

Hi,Every time I return to my Windows laptop once it's been in sleep mode all of the XD files I've had open are shut and the program has closed down completely. All other programs I have open remain open. This is extremely annoying. Is anyone else having this issue or know of a solution?Thanks

In XD is it possible to have different buttons on a page make the submit button at the bottom go to different pages depending on the combination of the buttons clicked?

Can anyone please help me to know, who can I stop the already shared prototype link from Adobe XD. I just want to stop sharing the project prototyping link that I early sent to the client. Please let me know anyone if you know the solution. Thanks in advance.

Some members of our team are getting this error and can no longer open shared cloud XD files. "This was saved with a newer version of Adobe XD. Please update Adobe XD to open it." No updated is available. We've tried using the cleaner tool. Logging out. Reinstalling XD, Creative Cloud,  etc... We've turned on and off auto updates.  Nothing seems to solve the problem. We are all on macs. Some with intel and others with m1 chips. Some of us have XD Version 50.0.12.14 and others have 49.0.12.14. See screen grabs below. This issues is a major roadblock to us collaborating and getting work done. ThanksHans 

libraries are not initialized only in adobe xd. They work great in photoshop. How can I fix this?   {Renamed By MOD}

If I have the 'open recent' menu open en the current document autosaves, Adobe XD glitches out and the menu is then stuck open afterwards. To fix the issue, I have to reboot Adobe XD. This issue really disturbs the workflow when working with multiple documents.

Is there a way to export an animated gif of an animation I have created with Adobe XD using the auto-animation feature?Is it possible?If so, how?

Hi there,  Hoping someone can help me as this has been driving me crazy for a couple days now.  Basically my adobe XD won't start up. I get to this page and then the rainbow wheel just spins and it says not responding. I was using the latest version. I tried reverting to an older version to see if that helped, no luck. I also tried using the Adobe Cleaner to remove the app and reinstall it but it also didn't work.  Strangely I can open and work on files that I made before with not problem other than the Export > To After Effects function being greyed out which I used to use regularly. So the main problem appears to be with creating new files. I am using Mac OS Monterey version 12.1 Thankful for any help anyone can provide, it's rather frustrating.  

Hello This last 2 days im receving error when creating share public link for xd, brefore it was working ok.After hitting create public link progress goes to 100% then at the end throw error: Check your internetis ti some bug ? im sung latest version of adobe xd and have paid personal account.  

Hi, I want to try a design where through scrolling things get added to a fixed point and just after all things are added it scrolls down the site again. I can‘t get my head around it and also didn‘t find anything through googleing. I hope it‘s understandable what I mean, I have a example: https://www.wearetonic.uk/ --> if you scroll down to "Our Process - Branding" Does anyone know how to achieve this in xd? Similar problem (maybe): what can i do to make a smaller sticky menu? i know how to make a sticky menu per se, but if want to let it get smaller when scrolling, what can i do here? thx!

Hi there, I hope someone can help me. I have a problem with my imported Videos in xd. When I first imported them they all played as they should when opening my Prototype, but suddenly they stopped, only one of three still works. One thing I noticed, is tat the frame of the working video is green while the ones that dont work have blue frames. I uploaded a screenshot. Thats the only difference I notice. Did someone stumble over the same problem and can help? 🙂 Thank you! 

I tried exporting an image file, but after selecting a the location I wanted to exporto to, I got an error saying "unable to access specified location". How o I resolve this please

Hello,I'm having a problem when I try to delete a component in the source library.Being inside the source library file, when I right click on one of the components that I want to delete, the "delete" option does not appear as in other ones. The only options I have are 'reveal in library, 'highlight on canvas', 'new group from element' and 'movo to'.I would like to know how do I delete it and why this is happening.  Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone, My current situation is somewhat janky, but its resulted in requiring us to use Adobe XD through Windows' built in kiosk mode (aka assigned access). In the menu of applications, luckily Adobe XD was in that list, however after switching to the kiosk account, Adobe XD is stuck on the loading screen. It doesn't go the main menu or request any files to open. Is there anyway I can get pass the loading screen through Windows' kiosk mode? I'm on Windows 11 currently but perhaps this would work better on Windows 10?

Hello,   According to the Adobe XD docs regarding Components, you should be able to add layers to existing components. Not only can you override the size of a component or the layout of elements within, but you can also structurally override the components. This means you can add or subtract elements in the master component and its instances.   https://helpx.adobe.com/xd/help/components.html#add-remove-elements   However, anytime try to create then move a layer into an existing component, I receive a tooltip of a disabled icon. If I duplicate a layer that already exists inside the component I can effectively "add" layers but only if it is an existing layer. IE. If I do not have any text layers in the component, I could not add one.   This seems like a bug that needs resolved as component functionality is not as described in the docs.   Demo   Can we either get this bug resolved or if I am misunderstanding functionality, can someone please assis

I noticed while working in cloud documents that I will reach certain points after working a document for a little while, then when I attempt to interact with something (especially whenever changing text, either in an artboard component, in the design panel, or a component state name) the program seems to freeze up and I cannot do anything.  Usually closing and reponening the file will mitigate the issue, for a time, but it inevitably happens again. This happens multiple times a day. I have not reported it yet as I thought it might have been an issue with communicatinhg to the cloud through my company's VPN and security software. But today I noticed that when it was happening as I selected a component state name, it highlighted the name and also the border-size field. (see picture) When I tried to rename the state, my text was showing up in the border-size field and nothing was visible in the component name. So from tomorrow I won't bbe able to use it right? I am just starting it and want to learn, how can I still continue using it when the trial is expired? The message comes up everytime I open it and its very irritating.PS: I didn't add any credit card info while downloading/installing.  Please see attached picture

Having recently updated to the latest XD, none of my Adobe Typekit fonts will work across my previous or current site builds. All of my fonts that I have activated through Typekit are available across all other software (photoshop, indesign etc) it's only XD that won't show. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program, deactivated and reactivated fonts and still no joy. I have active client projects that are live now and this is a huge inconvenience, please help!

I'm trying to install XD on Windows 11 running through Parallels on an M1 MacBook Pro.I'm aware of the issue of placing the installer in the root of C so that it didn't think it was on a network drive. Is this configuration just not supported? Any idea if it will be in future? Thanks.

Hello! Our team is stuck currently since we can't open a specific cloud file. When opening, we get an error 47 and XD closes the file. A colleague made a local copy yesterday and we can open that one, however if we try to update the 38 library components that need updating, we get errors and the local file then also has an error 47 and can't be opened anymore (even without saving). Since we can't access the file, we also can't return to a previous version (the CC Web only allows to download the most current one) and it probably wouldn't help either since we're getting the same problem with the local copy we already have. Can you somehow help and resolve the issue with that document?It's called: "Reinzeichnung OKP_Kfz-Ausbau". Thank you.
