Adobe XD

Is there a way to view fullscreen prototype in a mobile browser without the search bar and bottom navigation? Whenever I send a client a link they want to open it on there phone and get a fullscreen demo, like it's running as native app. XD doesn't dispaly it like that, inVison seeems to have figured it out. Is there anyway to disable the searchbar and footer nav for fullscreen mobile viewing on a phone or is Adobe XD planing to due anytihng like this in the future. It's very fustrating to have a client not get the fullscreen experience as it was designed.

I have been trying to set up a Bootstrap grid in an artboard with the following specs 1440x1024, but I've seen different approaches to setting it up. On the Bootstrap site, it tells you to use the following specs:1. Gutter width of 30px (15px on each side of a column) > Which do not fall under the 4 or 8pts system. Tutorials:2. Most tutorials make it by following the 8pt spacing system. If you go this way, you see a weird column of numbers. Can someone tell which of the approaches to implement this in XD is correct, or if it is ok to break the rules (odd column numbers) and still call it Bootstrap grid?

I've come across a Xd bug and have a workaround for it:When I publish a link for user testing it automatically generates a link in fullscreen mode with the ending /?fullscreen&hints=off This setting results in the generated link not loading to the next page, when clicking at the first interactive element.When generating a custom display setting you can also activate the fullscreen mode. Either way the generated link wont work properly.I hope Adobe Xd fixes this issue someday. Until then just dont update your link with fullscreen mode activated. Instead add the ending /?fullscreen&hints=off manually after generating your link and your good to go. 🥳

Hi,  Our team just started using XD and we created a library from an online document on adobe cloud (with the publish button). The owner of the library and everyone else in the team have "View only" access when we manage the library on the Adobe Creative Cloud app and we can't create groups to organize our components. Although we're all have the "Edit" right. We have a lot of components in our guideline and we need to organize them for a better workflow. We saw that if we made a simple library (not published from an Adobe XD file) we can create groups. But it's harder to update the components because there is no source file. It's really illogical to see differences between a manual library and library made from a XD file. And even in XD, when we open this shared guideline, we have the filter "Filter by groups" but it does the same thing as "Filter by type", because we can't add more groups than the default types groups XD has. Repost: For the second time I am reposting this issue, and nobody is willing to help. this is frustrating and the whole team is not working just because of this issue this problem is driving me crazy, whenever I try to update the library, it displays the bottom blue bar and nothing happens. I have tried many solutions, like killing the Adobe creative cloud, signing out from it. I even deleted the design system from the library but still didn't work. Now the whole app isn't linked to my design system and I have to link it all over again, but this issue has to be resolved first. The version I am using is (48.0.12) and this issue does only occur in this file.here is the reference for the system logsAdobeLogs_20220222_092618_833-mac-GS.zxp  please help

I am looking for a way to link/ create feature tickets to a design draft made in adobeXD.Basically I would like to create a visual mock up in XD and have the feature ticket describing the reasoning for the specific screenshot also in XD. Is there a elegant way to accomplish this?

Does Adobe XD have this feature?

Hello everyone, All SF Pro font weights are shown as Regular font weight when previewed on iOS device (iPhone 12) while it is shown correctly using desktop preview. This happened since updating Adobe XD to version 48.0.12 and the Adobe XD app. All other San Fransico fonts like SF Mono, etc do show correct font weights when previewed on device. Anyone else also having this problem while previewing SF Pro font weights on iPhone?

Is there a known bug where sometimes you can't enter text in text fields embedded in components?In case of error you don't see a cursor, but you can move it with the arrow keys. You can select letters and delete them with Del, but you can't enter new text.I can't recreate this unfortunately and I don't have a recipe how this occurs, I just know that I have the error sporadically and have had it for a very long time - this is annoying unfortunately....I had the case today that it occurred with the XD on my laptop again and again (Windows) on my desktop PC (Windows) on the same file I could then change the text. Booth Version 49.0.12.14The file is "locally" in OneDrive. 

With the latest release and the inclusion of this wonderful 3D tool, i've found that if I modify something (make it 3D), its placement relative to other layers/objects gets messed up and impossible to change.  Example:I make a rectangleI select it and enable 3D and tilt it forward 45 degreesNow no objects can be placed in front of this newly tilted rectangle - *note: they are sequenced appropriately in the layers panel, with the 3D object sitting all the way at the bottom, but whats being shown visually is that the 3D object sits on top of everything Additionally, if I remove all of those attributes (set the 3D attributes to 0), the problem persists, so I essentially have to delete the element and recreate the initial rectangle. Unrelatedly, but similarly frustrating is that when you select an object and enable the 3D tool, it remains "on" for every subsequent object created. So you need to keep turning it off, otherwise every object gets created with the 3D transfo

I was willing to give this program a chance. It's abilities sounded good at the time. However, after wasting all night building a prototype I found that there isn't a way to actually publish your new creation. That really doesn't make any sense to me. Just time spent with no practical use. Much like this Jive forum that keeps causing an error every other click. I just don't understand why Adobe would promote something so useless. Your just going to have to start from scratch in some other program anyways. Why waste the time with this!The Title was edited by Moderator.

When creating a component with multiple states, like a mobile menu for navigation, the interactions from the default states are not inherited to the new states. you have to manually define all interactions again, for all states. This must be considered a bug and be addressed. The workaround now is to add another component inside the component that just holds the navigation. But this only solves interactions between artboards, not interactions between component states. 

When trying to select File > Open Recent from the top menu, my mac freezes and I am unable to select my recent files. Is this a known issue?

On wireframe browser preview link it shows the slide title name. But it should not be able to copy. practically when a wifreframe has 50+ slides, to modify a slide later , I know it by the slide name in browser . but inside xd document it need to search by the slide name in artboards search option. So if I can copy paste the artboard name from browser preview  to art board of xd's search field, this will be better. 

I'm in Windows with Xd 49.0.12.14 and I keep having issues opening the File dropdown menu. I click it and it opens for a split second but closes. It sometimes takes doing that many times before I can actually use the dropdown menu. This has also happened with the Help menu when I was looking for the version number today, but I don't remember it with the other dropdown menus. I also rarely use the dropdown menus other than the File one.

Does anyone know if there is a way to link a word document to an XD art board for automatic copy updates as can be done in Adobe inDesign? 

So It was brought to my notice that one of the xd links was giving out a weird hex code (#0A0A0A3D) for a shadow element that I had added and I can't figure out what it means. Attaching the screenshots below. Does anyone have any idea about it?? Also, the element was just a rectangle with nothing but a fill and shadow.

I just upgraded my M1 iMac to macOS Montery and opened my XD Cloud File in XD Version 49.0.12.14 arm64. All textfields with SF Symbols inside are suddenly broken. Either it shows a different symbol or weird horizontal lines. If I make a completely new textfield and copy/paste a SF Symbol inside it works. Please see video comparison attached.How do I fix this issue without replacing hundreds of textfields manually?   <Title renamed by moderator>

Our users can only download/install XD 48.0.12 from the CC app but they need 49. We can deploy 49 in a separate package but why can't users self-install? Thanks!

Hi friends! How can we do a slide in animate between 2 different artboards?
