Adobe XD

For god sake, since 2018 a lot of person getting this errors. In 2021, I still getting this error too. My current Adobe XD version is: 32.2.22.2 - In creative cloud all up to date. But still getting this error This was saved with a newer version of Adobe XD. Please update Adobe XD to open it. So the question is, what can I do? I sick of these problems.

Hey there, I am wondering if there is a solution for my issue.I'm creating a horizontal navigation menu, with hover applied on each option. This is the Default State of the first item: And this is the Hover State or the same item: Works great, no problems.The same with the second item. The issue that I'm having is that when I move from one item to the next, the hover state only activates for the item that is on top of the other one. So when I move the cursor from the first menu item to the second, it works but when I move back to the first it doesn't. Hi XD community, I am loving XD so far.  As a startup, we are getting a lot of value from this! We are experiencing the following issue. I shared a link with my client via Share, Design review and "anyone with the link can open it".  The client just started entering his / her comments. However, all these comments are not linked to any screen. I have more than 20 screens so I don't know what what the feedback is about!It showing as unmapped comments. How can i ensure my client's comments are linked to the screen.(Note: she has no adobe xd, only a guest account). Thxstijn  Regards,Stijn

When im creating a new XD document and just making a simple box and share it. the first time i craete the sharable link it works fine. If i then update the box with a color or adjust the size and click the "update link" button it does not update, and is the same as the first time i created the link.   If i create a new link it will get the latest update.   My account is an corporate account with some restrictions for whom i may share with. I can only invite people to see my link, not create a public sharable link or one with password protection. Does this have something to do with it or?   I have another personal account where its possible to just update with the button and it works just fine.   I tried to create the document on the same machine and same XD versions just different adobe creative cloud accounts, so clearly it must be something with the account, anyone who can tell me why that is?   {Renamed By MOD}  

Active fonts are not recognized by Adobe Xd. If I activate a font, in Ps and Ai the fonts appear, but not in Xd. what is the problem?

I’ve been looking for an answer to a certain question. In the past, I’ve experienced problems with files having lots of screens (±150), so I started working with more nested components, to minimize the duplicated screens. After that, my projects started to perform extremely slowly due to the complexity of the nested components (I think). That, combined with the fact that the screens were using all components from a library, and afterward from a hierarchy of libraries, made it even slower. At the moment I am starting on a new project and I cannot seem to find the perfect solution with XD. Suppose I’ll have a web app with 3 different roles. Solution 1: I thought of splitting the design files into 3 different ones, all of them communicating with a single design system file published as a library.  1 design system library -> 3 design filesSolution 2: Use a shared file published as library for atoms, other 3 files for patterns (each file containing specific components for

New rules regarding subscriptions, in particular, we are talking about the starter plan! The main problem is not the desire to buy a subscription in order to download the adobe xd project files! Customers refuse to buy a subscription in order to change the color of the element or change the font! Adobe needs to revisit or return that old starter plan! Especially in the realities of figma and other competitors of UX / UI editor programs.Recently, my customers say - "Why should I pay for the program - I don't work in it" And I agree with them! Do you really think that with such marketing, you can somehow compete with figma?P.S.When I hear a refusal to work with me from my customers, because of this damn plan ... more and more often I start to think about switching to figma ... sorry!

So i've been creating a bunch of components with various states in a library to share in my projects. eg: simple buttons with hover function, a drop down list.. nothing fancy.      When sharing this library for usage in other projects, non of the states of any of the components is migrated? All i can see is the default state of the components. Right click and edit the orignal component in the shared library brings me back to the component with all states available as intended    XD, what's going on? I have a school project. I study webdevelopment and all that and for the xmas break we all had to create a website in Adobe XD of any kind so we can learn later in school what we did wrong and stuff. I chose to make a website for a bar and for the gallery part I wanted to make something more advanced. When hovering a picture, I wanted a bigger one to appear, which worked fine, but since I wanted to create a realistic picture wall on a bamboo wall, the pictures are sort of close together. So, when the hover picture appears, the layers kinda start battling over who is on top.  Can I somehow bring the hovering pictures out of the group and and make them all equal? So they dont cover the default pictures. I also included 2 pictures to give you the idea of what is going on.

Hello,  My colleague and I were working on a project for two days and today which is the third day and we were on some last few designs and suddenly the entire project wiped out! Soon after we both did Command+Z a thousand times, but the result was disappointment. There were 18 art boards with all the prototypes and everything, now all we have left with is 18 blank art boards. How could this have happened? Is there anyway of recovering any files? PLEASE HELP!!!

I love the new video feature but I am alrealy running into problems. Even creating a 720 presentation sub 2 min video feels challenging with the video technical limit. 15mb is way too small, it needs to be 40-50mb. Not even Youtube mp4 compression can't output a 2 min video that small.  Alternatively can we hotlink the video canvas to a url? So XD preview will pull the video file from a web address instead of embedding it on the canvas (also removes the size limit).

Hello, I have an issue with the links from names in my main page to contact page. It seems to be a bug in the code. It's strange because I have a link from the main page to the page contact. This is working when I am using a preview. Any idea why the code is not working?   Thanks

I can't share any prototypes using password protected links. Even links with passwords to PAST projects are no longer working. Project from over a month ago that previously worked, can't be accessed any more. Yes the passwords have Upper, lower and numbers.

      Hello,  I'm struggling to create icons that scale up without losing their properties or looking different from the size it was created. I'd appreciate some help. TIA. 1. Should the icons be designed at the smallest size? if so, what should be the dimensions? 2. While creating outlined stroke icons, does it matter how the stroke is aligned (out, in, or centered)? Should the stroke be converted into fill before exporting to avoid losing the properties while scaling up? 3. Should I create icons in Ai to avoid pixelation or in digital design apps like XD, sketch, or Figma? 4. To get pixel-perfect icons, does each shape that makes up the icon need to be a whole number, or the shape created after the boolean operation should be a whole number? 5. Lastly, when creating a family of icons, do all the icons have to be the same stroke weight?   <Title renamed by moderator>
