Adobe XD

After update. When you open more than one file.  

I noticed an XD performance degradation starting yesterday (July 27).  Basic editing gestures - like selecting an object, zooming in or out, or opening text for editing - will unpredictably freeze, and then start again.  The lag can be upwards of 3 seconds, which makes XD nearly unusable.  I have a coworker in another state who is using the same Master Library for his design files, but is having no problems.  We both have full view/edit permissions for the Master Library.  File size seems to make no difference: we both have small and large files, but I experience problems and he does not.   Other stats.  I have the latest version of XD.  My machine is a reasonably modern (3 years old) HP Zbook with plenty of memory and Windows 10 Professional.  Of course, I uninstalled/reinstalled XD and restarted my machine.  No luck.   Any help will be deeply appreciated!   <Title renamed by moderator>

I have a couple issues using adobe xd that I dont really get:   1. You cant define cols/rows in repeat grid and instead have to adjust the annoying borders of the grid is this the case? 2. There is no snap for the border of the repeating grid so you cant even snap it to a element 3. You cant add elements into a repeating grid after it has been created - but you can copy and paste one of the elements inside to create a extra element - WHY? 4. You cant change the order of elements in a repeating grid 4. The font size and scaling of text are seperate properties so instead of scaling down the font size when you scale down the parent you instead just scale the whole text down.   I also encountered many bugs that I think are related to me not using the tool properly   <Title renamed by moderator>

As far as I can tell, there is no "scroll bar" functionality for the prototypes, so users who are accustomed to grabbing scroll bars to navigate up and down (and left and right, for scroll groups) are unable to do so. Is there a way to turn that on, or is it a function that I have missed?

Dear Team,  I find a sudden surge of increased file size for my master components file which has only nested components, components & states. This is not even a visual design file and it is strange to see 130MB for a wireframe-component-kit file. Regards,Subramanian

Trabalho com Adobe xD a um tempo, antes com intel, agora com AMD.O Programa abre, porém, está extremamente lento, travando com simples zoom in e zoom out, um delay terrível ao inputar textos, um caos extremamente estressante. Já atualizei, desinstalei e nada resolve esse problema de performance. O computador que o programa roda é o canhão, mas o adobe xD não vai. O que pode ser?

After today's update of Adobe Xd, it still crashes. The program starts, but when you select Prototype, the application stops working. No error, window disappears.Return to older drivers (NVIDIA) is not possible. Someone already advised me. I use the NVIDIA Quatro 2000 graphics card with the latest drivers. I'm paying for Creative Cloud, so the patch should be on the Adobe side. I need to work in the app. How do I fix it?

Hi All, Adobe XD 27.2.12 showing disconnected when I was having an active internet connection. I tried restarting the machine, restarting and reinstalling the XD, Re-logging. But nothing works for me. I have read that Adobe already aware of this issue. But still, they haven't fixed this issue. Because of this issue, I can't share my prototype completely. I hope Adobe will find a solution to this very soon. Regards

Hello,   I'm experiencing an issue with Adobe XD version 42.1.22on Windows 21H1 (Build 19043.1151).   What I did so far: installed the latest Windows Updates tested latest Adobe XD version tested two older Adobe XD versions installed latest graphics drivers for my NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1660 8GB. Current version: 471.41-desktop-win10-64bit-international-nsd-dch-whql (Studio Driver version) cleaned up all Adobe XD versions using Adobe Cleaner Tool followed the advice in a lot of threads on this community forum with similar issues followed this this guide: https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/xd/kb/xd-crashes-when-launched-on-Windows.html tried advice from the accepted solution in this thread, but gives me the same error message as from user "strkbndctwrn" in that thread  Unfortunately that didn't change any behavior of Adobe XD, it still hangs when launching it, displaying only the Xd logo on a white background. I just had a telling revalation. The best part of my day is when I close down my one remaining XD project (for a client who hasn't ditched it yet) and open up Sketch. It's like the sun coming up over the mountians in the morning and illuminating a field of wild flowers as an eagle flies across the horizon. Thank you, Adobe, for giving me such a tremendous feeling of appreciation for … anything else.

 Can someone help me figure out what this symbol means in the Layers Panel? And how to get to it?

I've been looking for material design gradient header color, googled alot and found a Material palette gradient colors, it gives me a zip. file but i have no idea where to import it. I know with Photoshop you can go to the folder and add the palette there, but I don't seem to find a similar option for Adobe UX. Is there another or easier way to do quickly get the colors you want in your assets?

In this image, it is hard to see the guides if I work on different colors (not just in red) it's a bummer actually makes my workflow slow for zooming in to this one. Any settings would you recommend? I would like to suggest the guides will adjust automatic in the background so that it will not take time to zoom in to clarify

HiI'm trying to export PNG's as @4503881. But when I do this, it makes the @4503881-png 100% and the @9671927 50%?Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug?Hope you can help.Thomas

For some versions of XD already, I often am faced with text fields (e.g. width field, height field, layer/state text field when renaming layer/state, etc.) in the UI of XD that can't get focus, can't be tabbed to, don't allow to highlight text and don't get updated when I press keys on my keyboard to edit its value. Though that I can't interact with these text fields, somehow the rest of the UI of XD is blocked as well. So everytime this happens, I get stuck.   This also applies to text layers on canvas/artboards when I want to edit the text content of this layer.   At the time that I am faced with this, the inputs are not disabled or read-only for that matter. They should be editable. The only workaround for me, is to minimize the XD window and revealing the app again. This can't be intended behavior, something must be broken here.   <The Title was renamed by moderator>

Hi, everybody. I have a small problem. So I exported a new link for a project. Then my client commented on this link. Then I made changes to that xd document and saved it with a new name. At this time I could not update on the old link changes. Therefore, I copied and pasted the new changes to the previous xd document and updated them on the old link. At this time I had such a problem - "Unmapped comments"(in attachment). Old comments are read, but you can't see which comment is on which page. When you clicked on it earlier, that page would open. How can I do that?Thanks in advance.

I updated XD, reinstalled it, saved the file in a different name, but still! Every few minutes the XD crashes with no reason. Really really annoying!!! how can I fix this??Tom

I was working on some wireframes and I zoomed up in using Ctrl + scroll wheel and it crashed. Fine no big deal, I just have to reopen it. However when I did, it now told me that the fonts I was using were now missing and displays a warning constantly.  The font is Arial Regular. I have never removed it from my device so there is no way the font is missing, but the warning persists even after changing the font to something else and changing back. It results in a very annoying overlay error message when showing a prototype as well. Is there any solution to this bug? FWIW: I'm using the latest version of XD on Windows 10 on a Dell XPS 15 9570 with 32 GB RAM.

Hello, Is there a way to create even spacing between objects by  selecting objects and then defining the space?In example -  if I want 24 px between objects I can select them and then enter the required spacing.I use this feature constantly in Sketch and really find that I am missing in in my workflow on xd.

It is taking longer that normal to add fonts. infact it is still loading since an hour. not sure when it will get done. Please help me out.
