Adobe XD

Hi!I am trying to swap a master component so that all it´s instances get swapped too. The problem is, that after dropping the new component onto the old one only instances at the same "layer-level" are swapped but not the once that stick within groups or other components. See attached images:    Am I doing something wrong here or is that a bug? Thanks Sascha

Hi!I have some Adobe XD plugin developers telling me that the XD plugin API makes it impossible for developers to search for elements throughout the complete project if there are components involved. Meaning: If there are elements nested in components it is impossible for a plugin-script to search and find those nested elements. Is that true? And did anyone ever created a workaround-script for this basic functionality? Thanks!Sascha

Hello, so I know there have been already such threads but there wasn't anything that could help. I need to add a new element to a component I created and i cannot do it in any possible way - I tried copying and pasting, but it would only paste outside of the component, I tried editing the component but the component just wouldn't recognize my new element, drag and drop in the layers of course does not work. Can someone please help with this ? It's such a hassle. 

Hi,After creating a new document or opening a document sent to me from colleagues, basic functions seem to either freeze the program, or lag an excessive ammount of time, eg: 30minutes to create a stext box, after which, trying to insert text will cause it to freeze or lag for the same amount of time. Basic fucntions such as inserting text, zooming in and out, or selecting elements cause it to stop working. I have tried un-installing and re-installing and even installing older versions of XD. My current setup isOS: Windows 10XD Version: 41.0.12 (Latest) Please help

Hello,   On the latest version of XD, when I select an item and want to move it to an artboard that is not within the active view, the view doesn't move to view the artboard in the direction i'm moving my mouse. Same happens when I try to make an interaction and link it to an artboard that is not in the current view (see screenshot). Any help?   <Title was renamed by moderator>

I have "Spelling and Grammar" checked in XD but it does not flag any errors. I've tested this by typing two words "Recoorded" and "Recorded" and nothing. This needs to be fixed.

adobe xd tiene plugin para insertar video?

As you can see on the video, I have a weird behaviour on assigning more than one action to move between artboard. In my case I want that any dpad presses moves between artboards, but I cannot set more then one. It gives me the option to do that, but it disappears. 

Until some days ago, I could select individual elements inside different groups by pressing Ctrl and clicking directly on the element. Now its no longer possible after update. When I am heading to select the second element, it selects the entire group instead of the individual element inside. That was a particularly good feature before because you could select multiple elements and apply the same properties like colour, or alignment. Now you have to do it individually, which I consider a loss in terms of usability in Adobe XD   <Title was renamed by moderator>

When i create a XD file and create share link, other designer in my team can not update the link. Other designer always needs to be depend on the owner of the file to update the link.   {Renamed By MOD}

Hi, Got a deadline on tuesday and XD is making my life miserable.Crashes when......Screen wakes up after it auto shuts off (energy save)...If I drag a XD window to my second monitor...Randomly when I do other stuffIt also has corrupted filees two times during these crashes so I have to roll back and loose two days work. I'm sooo close to switch to some other software, this is redicolous. XD version: 41.0.12Win 10: 19043.1052RTX Quadro 4000 Driver: 462.59 😞

Tried several times, restarted my computer, did everything I could, it just fails. I am having an horrible time, struggling a lot with the latest XD version. I simply lost my entire day of work divided in - Component states disappearing - Gamepad actions disappearing - Control Z stopping to work - Total fail (need to close my file and open again every 30 minutes, and wait for the surprise to know which part of my work on the prototype I lost)   Windows 10. XD version 41. My file is saved on the cloud. I work with Xbox and PS gamepads, so I need to assign many gamepad actions to the same button.     <Title renamed by moderator>

After Adobe Xd crashes (which happens a couple of times a day since the last update) and I reopen that file, the file works just fine and everything from just before the saving is there, but It's impossible to save it as the old name without losing every single share link. In fact, I can no longer access my old share links within the file, no matter what I do. It looks like Adobe Xd marks it as 'new' and all shared links are deleted. Period. I just want to save my file and keep working on it, but now your software tells me 'well, this is a new file, you have to generate everything from scratch, deal with it'.How is this even possible? I just want to continue my work.Can anyone help me with this? Am I doing something wrong, or is this non-friendly-user-experience intended?

I made a prototype that I want to share via a public link. It has always worked very well. But today, to access the link you have to log in to Adobe ID, which is not practical. And, when my collaborators connect they have to ask me for permission and for my part, it is impossible to accept the request ... In other words, I can't do anything !!

Hi,  I´ve created a prototype and the link to share it with the stakeholders. Once in a while, one of the members of my team need to become into owner of that prototype, because the former owner was moved to other proyect and doesn´t work with it anymore. It´s so important to consider that there are so many stakeholders involved, for example, the developers. That means that we need to maintain the same link so that the workflow with the development team is not interrupted, among other reasons, but the new owner need to have the capability to make updates and things like those. So, my question is: How can I transfer the property of my file (prototype) without changing the link? Has anyone ever needed to do this before?   <Title renamed by moderator>
