Adobe XD

Hi Ive just started to look into XD after years of using photoshop, and am really liking it. However im aware of adobes Aquisition of Figma and how XD is now in 'maintenance mode' and i was wondering if anyone could give me the latest info on what might be happening in the future to Figma/XD?  As i dont want to sink lot of time into learning XD if Adobe then scrap it and concentrate on figma. thanks for your helpNick

Hi ,   have faced XD hanging issue when i worked with it some time text was stuck some time scorling were stuck and 

My Creative Cloud Plan includes Adobe XD. But when I try to install the program from Creative Cloud - the installation progress is slowly reaching 40% and after that, the installation is so fast reaching 80% and after that appears the pop-up message - " Installation Failed". Also in Creative Cloud near to Adobe XD I have a reminder "XD is in maintenance mode". Maybe that is the reason. But when will this update finish and I can install XD? or maybe there are some another reason?       

If I am no longer a user, will my Xd links still be available to anyone they were shared with?

I need to know why the mobile version of XD's preview is no longer working for my site. It was working perfectly fine until today when I completed the prototype. Now, all of a sudden, I pull it up on my phone and nothing will work no matter what I tap. The only exception being the triple tap to bring up the menu. It does work on the desktop preview. What is wrong with this app?

When I share a prototype I expect the default zoom to be 100% unless the screen is too small. This used to be how it worked but since the latest update the default setting is just "fit-to-screen". This means that when I share a prototype with a viewport of 850x800px (total document size is 850x2000px) it fills my large screen and the zoom is 144.1%. I've already had complaints from clients that everything looks too big and needs to be reduced – I can hardly expect them to know they have to zoom out to see it at "actual" size. I can't seem to find a way to change the default setting but according to this article the default should be 100%:You can select from the pre-defined zoom increments: 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% (default), 150%, 200%, as needed. However this is not my experience — see here for an example.

Hello, I am trying to post a comment in the share link prototype that I have created but I can not. I have already allowed comments to appear on the link, however when I type and press enter I get the error "We are unable to post your comment, please try again."Could anyone help with this? thanks in advance

Hi! I have been searching everywhere and can not seem to find a way to do this. I want my header to appear on the main page, when I scroll down it disapperars, and when I scroll just a bit back up it appears again, regardless of where I am on the main page. For example, on Instagram one can see this effect. Can anyone help, please?

In the editor, my component looks just as I'd expect. In preview and posted prototypes, the elements in the component jump around between states. I started out with a nested component to get the menu I needed but simplified things to try and make things easier on XD. I've been banging my head against the wall on this for close to an hour, trying every variation I can think of. Nothing seems to make a difference.  This is the second time I've hit this behavior with XD in the last week. For the last one, I just gave up and created an old school static representation of each state for my team. Cutting edge. Here's the states in design mode. Gif compression wiped out most of the differences, but you get the idea. The "more" button is not part of the component.  And here's how it behaves in Preview mode and shared prototypes. 

There is no adobe xd in the Creative Cloud app. in the play subscription it should be what should I do to make adobe xd appear in the Creative Cloud application? macbook m1

.hi. i think new update broke this. as title says, after saving a file as a new version, selecting the "share" to update link shows a blank link, i.e. a new one has to be created. this is problematic as in the past, this would not connect to all the client comments. essentially, a new link would show no comments when client reviews. please confirm and fix asap! the only way to make this work is to save new edits over current version to maintain the link, which is not what we want to do. we have time-sensitive projects that, needless to say, existing comments are crucial.

I have marked some artboards as well as about 30 images for export.How can I export only the artboards all together?I would prefer to deselect all the images collectively.Is that possible? 

Hi, I just wanted to post a bug issue I have been having with Adobe XD. I have been using Adobe XD all day, I went to update the label in my pre-defined component and my keyboard completely froze will not let me type at all in the application. It will let me copy and paste something in but I can't see to type at all. I tried to close down the program and go back into it but it's still freezing. I know its not my computer because I can go into a bunch of other programs and type.

Hey XD users, please help me!I created an XD file on my cloud and shared with a couple of colleagues, at the same time, I created shared and dev links, the problem is that one of my colleagues edited and delete some screens and i need to recover thats... now only are availables on shared links and my question is it possible to recover my screens from the shared links...please help!!!! Wrong today, I deleted the contents of my file and it was automatically saved on the cloud. How can I get the file back to a few hours ago?

When handing a design off to dev, any images that have rounded corners and shadows applied are downloaded with those rounded corners and drop shadow. But we want the devs to be able to download just the plain image without css effects so they can apply the border radius and box shadow in CSS. Can we include a an option to download image assets without CSS properties?

Hello, Adobe XD app is not displayed in my applications in Cloud creative whereas it is in my licence on my account profile. Does anyone has encounter the same issue? is this something known by adobe, did they make changes or you are still able to download normally as per your application list? it's been weeks i am trying and it's my main tool.. regards

I have been following tutorials posted here but I cannot get it to work. For some reason I cannot get pas a single click. Sorry. I have attached screensshots that can provide a bit of context.1. All accordion open and closed intances are grouped.2. These individual groups have a parent accordion component3. I added states to the parent component of each open instance: For example, 8 open states for 8 accordions4. My prototyping is is not making proper conections. Please help.

Hi, our company purchased a new license, after swopping to the new profile, XD won't launch. The XD app begins to open then closes immediately. Please advise?

Hi, Every time I try to install any plugin it gives error.Already tried to reinstall XD & Creative Cloud, followed the tutorial to resolve permission, I have tried everything and I am using windows 10. The error always persists. Any suggestion? x

Please stop forcing us to save documents in the cloud when we create new files Also, please stop requiring us to use 4-key shortcuts to simply save to our local computers. (CMD+ALT+SHIFT+S). For an UX app, these are pretty significant UX failures. Believe it or not, many of us have been using design software for decades, and we would like to work the way we have worked for years without having new ideologies forced upon us. Please do not change the title of this thread. Thank you.
