Adobe XD

Hello,This must be really simple, but I am new to Xd. My problem is once I use a font + style, every time after that the style option is deactivated, so if I make my title Helvertica bold, I can't make the body text Helvetica Regular.  It will show as bold and no option to change style.  Thanks !  I apreciate any helpR

I have done much more complicated items but this simple thing is escaping me. I just want an infomtion message to the user to be visible on page load, stay visible for about 5 seconds for it to be read then go away. I cannot get my brain aournd this. Any insights? Thank you.

Hi Adobe, Attaching the video file for reference will be a lot easier to understand but I'm trying to explain the whole scenario. While working on a project I usually create a design system and the XD file is used as a library by other members of my team. Since the Co-Editing feature is still in beta and not reliable (might be because of network issues) my team divides parts of a project.Recently, we've been using components and nested components extensively. When we want to combine the project let's say 5 screens from member A 5 from member B, the copying doesn't work properly.Any edits made to the components lets say the change in a text is reverted to master state when the file is artboard is pasted in the original file. please find the next points to clearly follow my process.Create a New File ACreate a master Component X (rectangle+text+icon) in File ACreate a New File BUse File A as a library for File B.Use Component X in the File B an

Is there a way to adjust the interface on XD. I just want to pull the component menu down so I can see all the states . I tried to hover my mouse over the grey line but it doesn't seem like theres a functionality?

I have a dilemma...I am wanting to create an add to cart button that when clicked 'adds' to the cart in the top right corner. I figured an efficient way to do this was to make the whole thing a component with states 1-10 (I'm guessing XD doesn't have an infinity option) and then the button when clicked gets assigned to a different state each click. The issue now is this is a long page and I would like the menu bar at the top to be a fixed position when scrolling. But because my cart icon is connected to the add to cart button at the bottom is this possible? Or do I need to try another method.  I know to create frames in XD you need to create a new artboard for each but it seems like a lot of work for just a small funtionality. If there is a better way to do this I'm all ears!   Thanks.

Hi, I am new to Adobe XD and click on "Start a new document" twice while playing around with it. I did not save these files and closed the window.  These files are now stuck and unable to open. They are shown as multiple windows but I am unable to access them nor delete them. Please let me know how to get rid of them. Thank you.   

I'm working with a big and complex system which has hundreds of screens. The artboards don't fit into a single XD file so I have to create multiple files. What is the best way to brake down the scope and organize the XD files? By functionality / by clients / by user roles...? 

Hello, I finished a project and I have many problems, when I export it using the plugin, it doesn't work. I see the page wrong, the menu stops working correctly and all the screens do not appear. That's why I can't upload the page. how can I solve it? the project is finished but I can't do anything with it.

Hi. We have an issue with downloading Adobe XD on Windows 10 using the CC app.Last week I got a creative cloud license, Adobe XD is not available to download in the creative cloud, so you got a direct link to Adobe XD install but it is version 55 and I am not able to run plug-ins or update the app. Is it possible to get updated version 57 as I do not see it in my creative cloud?

Hi! I updated adobe xd in July, 2023. Ever since i could not open the software(it doesnt load), the logo shows up and it crash itself. I can access creative cloud but not adobe xd. I have my very important files in adobe which i want. I have tried uninstalling-installing, restarting my laptop but nothing helped. Please provide a solution to this. 

Hello, I am from megamachinegroup website. I have been working in metal bending, cutting and forming industries for 15 years and I want to use a new design for my company's website. I don't have enough knowledge about this, some people tell me that your site is WordPress and you don't need to use this tool, i.e. adobe xd, and some people tell me that figma is better. Hello people, I hope you can help me. I don't know if any of you have happened to them, but every time I design a web in adobe xd, the measurements, by this I mean the text pixels and the image sizes that I put in the xd never remain the same as in A web program. An example: for adobe xd text I put 40 px, and when using the preview it looks good, but when I switch to programming and put the same thing, 40 px looks gigantic, and I have to reduce it to 32 or 30 px That is with everything, in adobe xd I always have the same problem, someone knows what it could be, because it makes it very difficult for me to design knowing that the measures I place are not going to be exact.

Hi all, Am new to Adobe XD and am working on creating an add to cart button. So far I have set it up as a component with multiple states 1-10 that move up and down when the + or - buttons are clicked. But I also want the button to funtion so that a prompt temporarily appears saying its being added to the cart. I know that its potentially not possible for 2 different types of animations to be happening on the same page? I tried to create a new "artboard" (I dont know what they call it in XD) and make that the frame that the promt transitions to but when I tested it the + and - functionality didn't work.   I want "Add to cart" to appear each time + or - is clicked.  These are the states I've set up for the button

My old XD account was attached to a (corporate) work email address.All email addresses at work have changed as we moved to a new subsidary name.I need to access the older files. The email was listed under @harvardpilgrim.org.Is it possible to get all files with that email.We have changed to figma and need to transfer those files in Figma.David

Since I am using a new PC with Windows 11 Adobe XD is giving me problems in synchronizing my files in the cloud. It throws a red symbol where it mentions that it is disconnected with Adobe Creative Cloud. Someone knows how to solve it please

XD has needed this feature since forever. Glad it's finally here.One feature that seems to be missing is to take element rotation into effect when switching states. I can't seem to make a button that simply rotates on hover. When I perform the rotation, it uses that rotation in all states. Is that by design or a bug?

Selecting the 'older' option from the filter list prevents me from seeing the resolved comments on the prototype link. The display only includes comments resolved within the past 7 days. I've updated the link twice – could this be why I'm unable to view the older comments?

All of the comments on every XD URL are gone

Error in Adobe XD when updating the link appears the message "You are disconnected. Check the internet connection and try again." despite being connected to the internet.
