【After Effects起動時にUnicodeエラーと疑似エフェクトを読み込めないエラーが表示される】   ※Windows環境でのみの問題です。  

作業中に位置や回転などにAlt+左クリックしてエクスプレッション追加しようとしたら、クラッシュ（AE固まる）する。

Not going past the start options, not even giving a error notification, just abruptly stops.

Is there a way to selectively hide layer controls? I have a lot of layers and I really don't like seeing the handle/outline box for EVERY. SINGLE. LAYER, but I do want to see the outline for the null layers.  Right now it seems like in View Options you can either hide everything or show everything, so my options are see nothing or have a cluttered viewport (see image or what I see vs what I want to see) What are my options? 

Hello, I use After effect version 24.4 And i use mxf file but on this version i get the message :cannot be opened , it may be in an unsupported format  On the version 24.3 i get no problem with the mxf filescan anyone help me with this ? i use After effect on windows 10 22h2   Thx Leo

Hello,i need help understanding a problem. I imported  the following composition from ilustrator  The colors are fine in that comp, but in the main one the colors get washedThere is no effect or opacity anywhere. Do you have any idea what it might be?Best Regards

the scene from Harry potter and the chamber of secrets where harry is writing in the diary and his text disapears and new text appears on the page as if something just wrote it. would anyone have any tips on how to make this effect with a non stationary shot? 

When i render my video without MBL effect it renders perfectly, but when MBL is on, somehow i am getting black screen with audio. I tried to fix it in many ways and none of them solved that. Im really angry ^^ pls help While doing the screens figured out this error but still without MBL it will render it.

Copio el trazado para hacer la rotoscopia, todo va bien. Pero no consigo terminar de hacerlo porque me sale este error cuando copio la segunda máscara para añadir al objeto null. He probado con varios trazados y ocurre siempre lo mismo. El programa se queda colgado y no me deja nunca terminar de hacerlo. Gracias por la ayuda.

https://imgur.com/oZ1fLSuI’m trying to use the “trace path” function to get a stylized draw-on effect, but I need the pencil to stay perfectly centered. So, the issue is the trace path expression advances along the path using a 0-100 Progress slider. When I animate the position of the path, it’s by pixels. It’s not a 1:1 value. So, I can tweak the trace path expression so the X is always 0. Then it stays centered but doesn’t stick to the path as it animates. Any suggestions on how to get the pencil to both stay centered while also tracing on the line?

I am having difficulty changing the frame rate to seconds. I know the tabs ctrl click project settings I already tried this. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem I spent like three hours reading.

  I've been working in a team project in After Effects with co-workers for a few weeks now and we're encountering this error whenever we try to retrieve comps from previous saves. We're also unable to share new changes with each other or invite other team members to the project. Things worked well for a few weeks but now it appears like the team project is dead in the water. Team projects has a lot of potential for remote teams like us, but this will force us to abandon the workflow for any client work. Is there a solution?

Project Collect is not working correctly. When "Selected Comps" and "reduce project" is selected as options, still collects every asset and precomp in the project. Running After Effects ver 23.5 in a Mac Studio M2 Ultra Ventura 13.5.2 (Not running 23.6 since it continuously crashes and has a memory leak problem with M2 chips).  

Hi! I am trying to scale a rectangle asymettrically and trying to keep the same stroke.I am using this expression to keep it so, but if I disalble the proportion chain and keep y 100% this happens. Any idea why? thanks in advance 🙂

Opened up After Effects this morning and created a new comp as usual, but instead this has happened. No matter what I put in the compositon nothing is viewable. It also won't play even if there is something in the timeline. This happens both from a completely new project or when I make a comp in a previous project. The odd thing is if I load up an old project it plays and works just fine until I make a new comp. Hey y'all! I just got a new Macbook Air M2 and i decided to start using After Effects. However, when I try to add plugins like Twixtor to my clips and try to preview the clip with the plugin implemented, it takes forever for it to process and reproduce it. I tried purging my cache, increasing the RAM capacity, etc. It is getting so bad to the point where if I try to preview a clip without twixtor or any plugin for that matter, the clip will loop instead of previewing the whole composition itself. For reference, I am using After Effects 2020 as I was told this was the most compatible version with mac. Please help!

Sometimes when i add clips into the timeline the videos glitch and black and green lines appear for some seconds. Usually also happends that the clips are fine but after exporting the final product has this glitches in it. How could I fix this?

 

Hello, I recently reinstalled my computer (macbook 2014) from High Sierra to Big Sur 11.7.8, where I run AE 2023.2.1.  I have problem with image rendering in general - some pictures are black when imported (even though they are not cmyk) and they dont appear in any window, preview or canvas of AE. Playing videos also shows a lot of bugs and pixel distortion, or they appear green, although they play normally outside of aftereffects. Other programs are affected - photoshop preview of video layers is totally broken, turns image upside down or disassemble them.It looks like some general disagreemnent between sotware and image rendering hardware...could it be that AE 2023 doesnt run on 2014 macboook?thanks    this is really crucial for me since I teach on the computer, and I need to be sure the project are working predictably.

Hey!  I have dozens (hundreds sometimes) of layers that make pick whipping really frustrating, selecting from the list even so. It would be much easier to simply select a layer in the viewer press a key (combination) and select the parent.  Is there a way to parent layers with a shortcut instead of the parent whip pick? Thanks,  ivan

why  in After effect 2024 taking too much time during preview and rendering.I am using windows 1113th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900K 3 GHz Processor128 GB (128 GB usable) RAMNVIDIA Geforce RTX 4070 Ti footage resolution is 2560*1440AE is not using  full power of CPU and GPU..... sometimes it takes 2-3 hours for renderingalready ebnabled multiframe rendering...are there are any setting which i am missing?
