After Effects

Hi all,I am trying to mimic the process of importing items into the project pane in AE, but instead of pulling from a location on the user's computer, I'd like to be able to pull a select number of items from a shared Adobe CC Library that I've created, which would be shared with the user. I can't for the life of me figure out how to call the path to the shared cloud library.In a nutshell, I'd like the user to be able to select a category, and then comb the library for all items that fit in that category, and import them into the project pane, at which point I'll sort them into various comps.Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I've submitted this question to CreativeCow and GitHub and received crickets.Thank you!

I have a MOGRT that animates in text, from 1 line to 3 lines, they need to be centered vertically - automatically, so that when the Premiere Pro editor edits text, wheter 1 or 3 lines, it should always be vertically centered. In total there are just over 2000. Please assist, thanks.

Hello, i'm currently very new to AE and I am using it to make edits. Recently, I finished my first edit and I was extremely excited to finally post it and show my friends, however, when I used file sharing apps and many other methods that people have suggested, the video would never load on my phone. It always says that the file cannot be loaded, I really do not know how to fix this and I've tried everything I can to get it to send to my phone, for example I've used apps such as Airmove or SendAnywhere, I've also tried to email myself and use google drive but none of those work either. I'm using a Samsung/android phone so I don't have access to things such as icloud, please help!

I have an image that I want to hide and show. How can I achieve that? Right now I have some opacity keyframes at 0% and 100% but there is a fade between the keyframes? How do I remove the fade between the keyframes so that the image just shows at 100% opacity and then switches to 0% opacity?Thanks for your help!  

Hi, im an editor and im currently using a MAC OS device for after effects. But everytime i want a twixtor plug in it says i need and intel based computer... i spent to much money for it not even to work on my computer??????? why is this, can anyone help me? Any advice is apperciated.

Hi, i am trying to open a new composition. i select files and new file from cinema 4d and my after effects crashes. is there a fix for this?this is what i get after the crash "Last log message was: <5401688> <QT.Afterburner> <5> Hardware support detected for ap4h " 

I have a kind of unique situation, where I have an animation on a path, and I want to loopIn the first three keyframes, and then have more animations on that path afterwards that don't get repeated. (In case that didn't make sense, I'll explain the situation being animated. I bring a character on the screen, and she's waving hi. Afterwards, she puts her arm down. I'd like the part where she's waving back and forth to be looped in, but not the part where she puts her arm down.) I've seen in various places on the web that there are existing expressions for a plain "loopOut" expression for paths (such as here), but I haven't seen any that are "loopIn." And I also haven't found any loopOut expressions that will limit the loop to some of the keyframes. So, to sum up, what I'd like help with is an expression that would be equivalent to loopIn("cycle", [INSERT NUM KEYS]); that would work on path animations. And while you're at it, it would be awesome if you could write an

I have 2 videos that I would like to show simultaneously (crop 50/50) but the second video isn't showing.Instead it shows as blank/black. How do I fix this?

Quand je l'utilise sur un calque et que par la suite je fais PLAY sur ma vidéo dans la composition, il y'a toujours une barre verte en bas en m'indiquant "propagation du roto-pinceau 1 sur 25" ce qui me fait perdre enormement de temps car la vidéo ce lis mal si je ne laisse pas cette barre finir son chargement. Est ce que quelqu'un sait si il y'a une option qu'on peut desactiver en attendant de faire le montage et réactiver plus tard ? ou autre chose ? merci à vous bonne journée. 

I'm trying to add the Position parameter of a Puppet Pin to Essential Graphics and am getting the error:After Effects error: internal verification failure, sorry! {index must be specified for lookup in indexed group) (29 : 0)The layer with the Puppet Pin is embedded two levels into Compositions. I've tried purging all caches and restarting AE to no avail. Any thoughts? Thanks. 

HiI have an animation that I made in Adobe Animate, and I would like to import it into After Effects for compositing. I am new to using After Effects. I imported the Adobe Animate file to After Effects directly, but the issue is that when I press "space bar" to watch the animation or click on the timeline the video lags a lot and does not display the animation. Also the render time is very for every layer. What is the best way to import my animation while avoiding lag? Is there a setting I should use or should I export the animation as a png sequence? I have a lot of layers in the animation and the animation is 1 minute long. Thanks for your help!

Hi All, I would like to check if this is happening to me only or this is the product work in general. I have After Effect 15.1.1 version and PC Win 10 / 32Gb RAM/ Samsung 960 M.2 SSD / i7-7820X / GTX 1070 8Gb. When I'm doing a tracking of a small area and tracking of a slow movement it takes more than a minute to move from frame to frame. I do not see any CPU usage or memory usage while tracking, looks like it does nothing all the time and only the last second create a point and move to another frame. Maybe I have some misconfiguration, however, I did not found anything or any kind of settings related to a tracking mode specifically. Note: I did try it on the 4k video, Full HD video and even on 720p video, the result is exactly the same. Each frame tracking done in between 60 to 80 seconds.Do you have any suggestions about it? Odd bug has surfaced. When double-clicking an .ae project file (work in progress) in the Finder, After Effects launches but the project doesn't open. All AE panels are empty as if  the app was launched by itself. Same thing happens when right clicking on an .ae project file and selecting 'Open With...' [Adobe After Effects 2024.app (default). The project file doesn't open. The only option for opening an .aep project is to launch After Effects and open the project  via the Menu command 'Open Project...' This applies to all .ae project files. Other Adobe apps I use, Photoshop, Illustrator etc, don't exhibit this behaviour, double-clicking on a project file launches the app and presents the project. macOS Sonoma 14.5After Effects 24.4 (build 47)Mac Studio M2 Ultra

Bonjour je travail sur un macbook pro 2021, puce M1 Pro, 16go de mémoire sur version macOS monterey 12,4, neuf. Est depuis de début sur After j'ai un probleme de prévisualisation.After ne lit que quelque frames en boucle sans erreur juste quand je veux lire ma timeline, il ne va me lire que quelque millième de seconde.Si j'avance dans la timeline pareil, que de micro seconde. Seul solution quitter et redémarrer After... Merci pour votre aide

Hi,I'm exporting a simple glb ring straight from Painter to AE.In AE, I've got that 3D circle.I'd like to have both my ring and circle showed on the same point of view (see screenshot). In a front view, my AE 3D circle is well on a front view but my ring is on a side view.I want to superimpose them as I'll be able to animate both of them.Actually I'd like to rotate my ring and have a null objet to circle around, which be easy if I could superimpose them . Thanks for your help. AE crash frequently, sometimes even just open the software and I did not do anything, it will just disapear without any  have tried both win11 and win10 ,The driver is the latest version of nvdia Studio, I've also tried different versions including 2024 boxes of 2023 AE, The same problem will occur, Attach a log file to help see what the problem is。

One day when I opened the program it tells me in a window that "AfterFX.exe has encountered a problem"; and, pressing a button, closed the program.I know it has to do with the afterFX.exe file, but I have no idea what I have to do with it to get my program back.I tried to fix this by uninstalling and reinstalling my After Effects. The AfterFX.exe window still appears.I would like to find a solution for this that does not require a Command Prompt.

Hello dear Adobe community, here with you with another bug that'll not be solved again!This problem is here with me for 3-4 months, whenever I change layout in Premiere Pro & After Effects, my cursor spams loading icon and I can't right click in both programs, and can't click at all in Premiere Pro. Now I want to look at Learn section, but I can't for some reason. No problem in default, when I change this happens. It just spams like its clicking, makes me unable to click, and doesnt shows Learning section for some reason.I need to solve this. Just dont do it is not answer.
