Hello!I put experiments with my tool panel (AnCode) on hold for a while, but later came back and decided to polish the draft into a somewhat functional prototype. Of course, I know about EDAP Tools – I’m light-years away from that level. And I’m not even aiming for it. I just really love Animate and learning programming. The video was recorded with a Russian interface, but the extension itself, including pop–up messages, was translated into English. I’ve added timestamps for your convenience. So this is more of an annoyance than something thats stopping my progress, but its bugged me for a while. With most objects and symbols I can get the free transform tool to select it in an regular square boarder, allowing me to stretch the object/symbol in certain ways. However, with some things it just flat out refuses to select it in a regular square box, making it impossible to stretch or deform in certain ways. Ive tried ctrl+B to break it apart and reselct it, Ive also tried forming it into an object, going inside and re-orienting the pixels to make square and not diagonal. But for some things it just refuses to allow me to select it without selecting in a diomond shape. What is causeing this ? 

I am trying to create videos in Animate (Adobe Animate 2024) to bring into Photoshop for an animated video. I have done this before very successfully but I don’t recall how!I am creating movie clip symbols with a transparent background using alpha 0 in the Properties, and Exporting the file as Video/Media.When I export the movie from Animate it creates a black background! I do not understand why! What is going wrong?

I am an ancient hand animator from a very different era (the animation stand/16mm days.).  I would like to import a large number of sequential drawn images to a software program and be able to assign different durations per image, ending with a simple but controlled animation.  It seems to me to be a very straight forward action, and I can almost accomplish this on unsophisticated programs like Imovie on my Mac.  However that program doesn't really give me the time duration control I need.  I've tried to learn what photoshop has to offer in this regard as well as other adobe animation programs but these seem way too cumbersome for  my simple needs.  I fear that even if I were to conquer the steep learning curve presented on the many tutorials I've watched, I would still not enjoy the flexiblty I require for both image movement and frame by frame sync to sound.  I would very much like to read any insights to  help me with this problem.  In th

I tried importing & dragging an MP3 file into Animate CC and I would get this message (see image) "Couldn't Import *.mp3…" "One or more files were not imported…". I tried this on both Mac & Win10 (everything is to up to date), installed QT on Win10, Reset my settings, tried it on another mac with a fresh install.I used a stand alone media converter from a raw recording (mac & Win), tried to fiddle with the compression etc. The last step is to open an old Flash file with an mp3.

Im NOT talking about editing the jvm.ini file. This file is obviously for allocating more memory during  publishing only. I need to know how to allocate more memory to animate for the UI so that the program stops going blank after i load an FLA. thank you

simple enough. I open an external library and publish. i get this Scene 1, Layer 'Layer_1', Frame 1, Line 1, Column 28 1180: Call to a possibly undefined method clip2. basically flash is not recognizing  the clips in the external library i just opened. only after i drag them into the main library does it recognize them. this is either a bug or a huge DERP by adobe. WTF is the point of being able to open an external library and not be able to use it??

Basically my library is just too big for adobe animate to handle in one piece. I need to break it into multple pieces and have it either load through AS3 or load only during publish. Adobe animate literally runs out of memory and the whole program turns black after only a few seconds of editing anything in my library. Loading the library with the "open external library" doesnt work, it crashes everytime because my library is just too big.

So I managed to import audio into the library and put it in the timeline, but now whenever I hit play, the playback will only include the audio if I start from the first frame! If hit play from anywhere else  in the timeline, complete silence

For the life of me, Animate won't let me import this audio file. I made sure it's in an accepted formatI updated the appI made sure it was set to "all openable formats"I tried importing to the library, straight to the stage, and just dragging and dropping it Every time it simply said it could not import the file. No explanation, no error code, nothing.

I really want to make animations and game's using Actionscript 2.0 and since Flash CS6 is the last version of Flash/Animate to have Actionscript 2.0, I want to know how to get it

Hello,Recently I have been getting this error every time I try to test/preview an HTML5 Canvas document in Animate CC (2018). I have tried reinstalling, read another solution (the output directory could not be found - sadly I had no folder named "_" or "/" so this solution doesn't apply to me), I have tried saving in different locations with new names etc. Nothing has helped. So far I have found no answers anywhere on the internet either. I have been working with Adobe for over 8 years now, but only for a month or so with Animate CC. This is quite problematic for me since the deadline is quite soon (student at the University of Applied Sciences), and none of the other students nor teachers are able to solve this issue with me. This is my absolute last out since I cannot seem to find a way to just 'call' or email Adobe either. I'm hoping that someone may have a solution here for me.Jessy

Hi all,I am investigating the FLA OLE-based file format created by Adobe Flash CS4. I imported a WAV file into the project and then saved it as a FLA file. After that, I used 7z to extract the FLA file. I am struggling to extract the WAV file’s information in binary mode, even though Adobe Flash CS4 can read and retrieve details such as bit rate, bit depth, and channels for the WAV file. This file is quite old, so if anyone has any insights, please help. Thanks!

Hi, I'm learning character animation. I'm going to try coding for the first time. I looked at many tutorials but they were all interactive and with buttons. I collected all the movements of a character in a single movie clip. My aim is to call some of these movements to the main scene with code. However, when I opened a new scene, I could not call the movement I wanted in the same movie clip. Am I on the right track? For example, how can I call only the running and stopping movement from the movements in the image to the main scene with code? Thank you very much in advance 

I updated Animate for the first time in a while, and I noticed that the text sizing is finally adapting to very high-res monitors, which is great! But... I had my Actions window stretched to the full Windows height, and after the update, the window got even bigger.  The bottom edge is now past my screen and I can't grab the bottom to re-size it.   I noticed if I change my Workspace to a different setting, the re-sizes it but.. I like my custom workspace setting.  Seems like there should be a better solution than creating a Workspace from scratch?

Is there still an Accessibility panel in Adobe Animate CC? I can add accessibility with a Movie Clip instance name, or through ActionScript, but this help document (when you scroll down) says there is an accessibility panel under Window > Other Panels > Accessibility. Hi there!Is there any way to disable the "Modern Rigging" link in start menu?Sometimes it start to flash like it's bugged and the Animate one in the task bar also starts to flash in orange endlessly.It also makes Animate open slower, as you can see how the program started while the Modern Rigging animated link don't and it actually takes a couple of seconds to do it. This can be a little thing, but it is annoying. Thanks in advance! 

Hello! I'm creating a jsfl scripts to automatically transfer classic tweens to motion tweens.I'm looking for the jsfl functions that can do the join motions/ devide motions function from menu.However I couldn't find it in api documentations. Is there any ways to do that?P.S: The reason why I need to create this script is that the engine I use doesn't support classic tweens, but with motion tweens the transformation point offset shifting bugs make animation editting impossible to do.

Hello!I'm currently working on a cut-out animation and I've run into a problem: I don't understand how to properly animate body parts so that they can move freely between layers.For example, so that in one frame the hand is behind the body, and in the next - already in front of it. When using Harman Air - with Adobe Animate, we used to get this window...  Cannot find it, or get it to open anywhere.Has it been removed?

Very important. We use Swf Studio from Northcode in ENAC and we have created a sophisticated product to create complex CBTD exercises for Pilots and Air Traffic Controllers which allows us to propose dual-screen on single-screen complex CBTDyn exercises.  Our Tool is called CBTDyn and we use FLASH and the product SWF Studio.  We are unable to launch our exercises on Windows 10. The Northcode blog wrote a fix has been developped for Windows 10. We tried to contact Northcode (http://www.northcode.com/blog/SWF-Studio-and-Windows-10) by phone and mail but they didn't answer. Can you confirm that Northcode is still working with Adobe. Thank for an answer because we need this fix to continue to use Animate CC to build our exercises.

The alpha check box on the Stage has been removed. Using the most updated version of Adobe Animate and can no longer find it.  Fairly new to using animate but the last time I used it, the option was there. Now isn't. Have tried clicking around to find if there is perhaps another way but can't fi nd a solution. This is annoying me lol could someone please help. Hopefully an easy and simple solution that I have not tried.
