Animate

Got a problem here that makes no sense. I want to use the option to have a short video on my timeline in Animate. The option I have is an FLV video, although I cannot seem to convert my video to an FLV since Adobe apparently discontinued support to convert a video to FLV.  Is Animate just a lazily repackaged Flash, riddled with bugs and missing features? Sure seems like it.So what's your answer to this, Adobe? 

Hi! Houston I have a big problem!My animate file refuse to open... The programm launch the file, try to open it and never succeed. Not a single message of error. All I can do is force the programm to shut downMy file is not heavy (about 200Mo)It's not just that, all my recover file and last versions do not open either. Only my first version can open.I work on an simple animation with photoshop drawings in layersI tried to reinstall the programm, to install previous verions of the programm and nothing worked... Did this happen to someone? If you can help me it would be a life saver!ThanksYsaline

Hi there,I got an issue when creating new file (by file/ new..., or "create new" button on the start up window) that the pop up window seem not responding for a about couple of minutes, it shows a blank black window.Anyone got this issue and have a resolution?I'm currently using mac M1pro.I contacted the adobe support team and helped with a solution of reinstalling or changing the internet.... but it didn't work.

I'm trying to rig a PNG with a transparent background on Adobe Animate. In the Properties menu, the Tool tab is grayed out and not clickable. See below ... 

I am stuck on the lip sync step create a symbol with all the mouths in it. I have designed all the mouths but I can't figure out how to put them all into the same symbol. Hello, I am a graduate student in a learning design program. I'm developing a lesson which covers Animate basics on motion animation, and part of my assignment is to have a subject matter expert review the lesson content I have prepared and provide feedback.  Is there anyone available who might be able to help with this? I realize this is a lot to ask, but would sincerely appreciate your time if you are able to do this. Hi guys, I'm new to Adobe Animate and usually do everything with after effects. I wanted to try rigging with simple characters, but the bone tool does some very strange things and I just can't get it to select my elements and put the points where I click. Attached video. 

The sound in my animate project will not play. The file is .wav, 44kHz, 16 bit, project is actionscript 3.0 and the sync is set to stream.  I screen recorded my project at youtube.com/watch?v=fuaQEXXoJbc Help is very much appreciated, please. Why everytime I send the exe file to my friend but the video suppose to be played is missing ? I've published into exe file but when my friend try to play the video, the video is not there. All the buttons are function well, only the video is missingThe problem is I can play the video but if I send to anyone, it cannot be played

Hi,  I've been using Flash/Animate for several years.It seems that these command lines don't work anymore :stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN_INTERACTIVE;stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.EXACT_FIT;What I want to do is displaying the app in fullscreen with no status bar, and no dock at the bottom of the screen.Does anyone have an answer to fix this issue ? Hi all,   This release of Adobe Animate adds support for the new Flexi bone in Modern Rigging that provides greater control over the direction and the deformation.   The Flexi bone has Bezier handles so it can be modified like any other Bezier curve. Hi,I have a small problem with my components "button" and "textinput".I added a background video with the code :canvas.style.zIndex = "1"so that the other elements are above. I also made the scene background transparent.All the elements are well above except the 2 components "button" and "textinput" which remains below the video. Do you have any idea how to fix the problem please ? Hi,I don't quite understand something.I have 2 sounds in a different frame. I would like my sound1 in the first frame to loop and starts automatically from the beginning.My sound2 is in frame2. I'm working on making a few objects "pop up" on my stage. I'm keyframing a scale change from 1x1 up to full size. I notice that when I go to the "Position and Size" on the Object panel and set the W and H to 1x1, it also changes the X and Y coordinates. When I'm dealing with smallish objects or quick scale-ups, this seems to result in a visible "jump" between the final frame of the tween and the ending keyframe. Anyone know why this happens?

Hello! I animated a shape using the bone tool after double clicking on the shape. When I click out of it, I can't see the animation anymore. How do I merge it into the main timeframe? Thanks in advance! 

Hello, please bear with me on this since I have never encountered a lip sync issue like this before. The project file is too big to attach so here is a Dropbox link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2suhl5w3i6f60sp/Avatar%20MAW%201.fla?dl=0 I have encountered an unusual bug in Adobe Animate - I am working on an animated character for work (a history production). My puppet has a "head rig" which includes mouth, eyes, pupils, eyebrows, glasses, etc. I used the lip sync feature to assign visemes to the voiceover file. In the Head_Rig timeline, everything operates beautifully; no problem. However when I back out to the main production timeline (Scene 1), everything works great from frame 0 until around frame #1056. The visemes for the word "1846" repeat and all mouth movements past that point are out of sync with the audio. This is ONLY happening in the main timeline and not the Head_Rig's timeline.  I have repeatedly went back to the head rig and cannot find any reason w

So I posted a long time about. I believe Animate 2020.   And back then, they got rid of the ability to edit the ease value of tweens if you had multiple kinds of layers selected (ie: empty, symbol, and shape).  In Animate 2018, you could edit the ease values of everything all at once.   I'm now using 2022, and you guys STILL haven't re-added this into Animate yet?    May I ask why not?  It's a pain in the ass to have to manually select all the shape layers to edit the ease, and then do the same for the symbols. And it was a feature before.  I think you guys really need to spend time to go to some Animation Studios that still use your product, and ask them what they'd like added to the program.  And if somebody asks to have something removed or added, then make it a toggle instead of the only way.
