Animate

When I open Adobe Animate the program crashes several times when I move or do anything using the tablet.Then it stops crashing but Use Pressure stops working.I tried going to Prefrences>Drawing>Tablet Input but the Tablet Input option is missing.And yes I was searching if anyone had the same problem but it didn't help.

Hello. I have a problem. My project has stopped working. I don't know how to work in Adobe animate. Every time something went wrong. I have assembled a new computer for animations, i7 processor, 32 GB RAM, Fast SSD, etc. I create a new animation, I came to a certain point and the project does not work, if I edit something, I get an error while saving. Additionally, the project does not want to be exported to mp4 movie. It doesn't chew it into Media Encoder. The project has drawn characters + imported vectors. If anyone had any knowledge, you would love itRegardsGrzesiek Tizzue 

i cannot open my file but after getting help from community ( renaming the file to rar then repaire then remaing again) and that works but,after renaming the file from rar to fla my movieclips are gone i cannot access them anymore it only shows a white dot where my movievlip was, when i double click on it nothing happens. PLEEEEEAAASEEEE HEELPPPP

So Ive been trying to use a certain shade of blue to go over my characters body and to do that I've been trying to use a new layer specifically for the blue shading. For some reason whenever I try to use the bucket tool to cover all of the area. The bucket instead goes back to the first layers and adds the color there. Not only does it go on a different layer but it replaces one of the other colors completely which doesnt help since I want to blue sahding to have a 50% oppacity. So whenever I try to turn the oppacity down for that layer the whole drawing starts to fade when it should just be the blue shading. I can technically just use the brush on the new layer instead of the bucket, but if I do that I have to try and avoid going over the line art which is extrememly time consufing and stressful. Is there anyway to use the bucket tool on a seperate layer?

I recently built a new computer running Windows 11 and I installed Animate 22 using the regular Creative Cloud application. Animate 22 is giving me a lot of problems (most notably crashing every time I try building a swf) probably because I'm trying to work with the ancient Scaleform extension and source files. Animate 19 was working fine on my old Windows 10 computer for building swf files that use Scaleform. Animate 19 is no longer available for installation through Creative Cloud. I contacted Adobe support and Adobe sent me a link to download and install Animate 19. I successfully installed Animate 19, but I cannot open it. Animate 19 shows the splash screen, then opens a window, and the window stays open for just a moment, and then closes. I tried following the steps in https://helpx.adobe.com/animate/kb/animate-crashes-on-launch-startup.html but that did not fix the problem. I don't think the program is crashing. It looks like it opens and then automatically closes.

Greetings! Despite trying to look for answers to fix or find a way to finally have the matte option enabled to just save a transparent GIF but so far no luck. Tried changing the stage color to near black (#010101) but it still greyed out. (I use adobe animate CC)Is there a way to fix this? I am not sure if this is a bug or anything. If not, I appreciate the advice given!Much kudos!

Hello, this cold be a stupid question but I was just wonderingWhen I am drawing with pencil tool is ther any option where I can close a gap when I am drawing like there is in Illustrator. I usually hold down ALT at the end of my stroke in illustrator and it coloses the gap.  Is this an option in Adobe animate? Thanks Seb 

Hello. i wanted to make a countdown timer in Adobe animate Canvas with minutes and seconds (it takes for example 45 minutes) .when the time will over , my movieclip disapear (this.mc.visible = false)!I read all forums but I couldn't succeed .can any one write this shortly plsssss???

I am doing frame animation in Photoshop. Flipping back-and-forth between frames to get the best progression of the motion is foundational in animation, no matter what the media or program. Usually it is done with the arrow button in every other program I have ever worked with, and I have worked with many. Is there any way to do this in the Photoshop timeline? Mouse or stylus clicking back-and-forth between frames is infuriating and ridiculously awkward. But in all of the tutorials that is the only way I have ever seen anyone flipping. Does anyone know how to do this.

Hi, a question for all of you "vintage" animators out there .. by vintage I mean animators who are old enough to know what an exposure or sheet or a dope sheet is. Is there anything like an exposure sheet (Xsheet) that one can output, maybe as a csv file? That is what I have done with other animation software. I am asking becasue I am on a project where we are doing pretty traditional drawn animation. I am doing the animation roughs or what used be called "blues" but I need to export only the drawings that move to the renderers in photoshop. But if I export a Jpeg sequence it exports every frame as a seprate drawing including the holds - if a scene is shot on twos, the sequence is exported with  one animated pose as two drawings each with a different name, even though one is a hold of the previous drawing. I am sure that I am in the dark about some huge paradigm shift here.

How do I do it while my character changes expressions and talks? And I can't even move my character from side to side because when I try to do it, it just goes to the wrong direction. 

I am making an animation in HTML5 canvas document. It is working fine when i am publishing it as HTML/JS. But just when I use camera for little zoom in. Movieclips inside button and over button stop working. Button script is working fine but movieclips are not playing. when scene is stop. it happened just now. Before it was fine.

Is it somehow possible to directly create a zip file with/after publishing my HTML 5 banner?For larger campaigns, it is extremely time-consuming to always zip the exported files manually. Or do you know a solution via Brigde, Automator(Mac), plug-In or even something else? Thanks a lot,Stephanie

Hi,I made an animation on HTML5 canvas with background as imported 3 layered PSD image.Some colors get dotted when I test my work in browser as HTML.On stage, exported mp4, JPEG and PNG everything is fine with imported background.Do you know what is the problem?I have tried in library menu/bitmap properties to fix things with changing from jpeg to png/gif compression, but it made small difference. Later on in the process it also become like jpeg compression.Note that I can't use actionscript for this project since it makes issues in HTML.

I have two objects. I want to move object1 to the right, if object1 is clicked. Then, I want to move object2 to the right, if object2 is clicked, with the condition: object2 cannot move before object1 moved.

I just read about the screen function. I have 2 scenes, but what I'd like to know isthis. Is there a way I can show them on two different monitors, like one on my computer andone on a projector? I'd like to use Actionscript for this.

Hello, I have been trying to solve this problem for 3 days.in adobe animate by having 3 layers filled with png format images the last layer does not appear because layer 2 has a white background that overlaps it, I already confirmed 3 times that the images are png with no background or anything, I don't know why it appears a white background on layer 2 helps 😞

I have an GraphicFatther and inside of it a series of 28 other graphicSon all o them with its respective names into the library. I need to export them as PNG files but I want to preserve them names. When I esport, Animet just renames them as "graphicFather0001.png graphicfather0002.png" and subsequently.There is aby possibility to preserve the original names of the graphics?Thanks!

In Animate 21.0.3, when I try to use the Anchor Point tool, I get an error message: "The current layer "Layer 1" is either locked or hidden. Would you like to unlock and show this layer? (Yes/No)I click "Yes," same error message. The layer looks unlocked/shown to me.What am I missing?Thanks!
