Animate

Hi, I've somehow managed to hide all layers from the workspace.They're not set to invisible, and none of them are in the Edit Symbols mode, but I can see them in the layers list (bottom left).Any ideas?

Ive run into a rather frustrating problem, One of my symbols, In particular, Is making my brush do weird things. On literally any other frame it works fine, And the colour black works as intented. But it seems to screw up on any other colour. I have a coloured background and when I use the colour white on the symbol, It shows up in the symbol as white, but when I retreat to the main stage it is acting like an eraser. Or 100% opacity, And when I make it a colur, it immediatly appears darker (Or perhaps translucent as my background is pretty dark) So somehow ive switched something that makes just those frames treat me chosing colour as simultaneously setting opacity (for some reason.) It doesnt actually change the opacity setting mind you. It only acts that way on the main stage.Trying to just draw on the main stage changes nothing, Only that the effect is immediate, My white brush simply erases things (that aren't black) in my symbol, and colour is translucent and darker. Hey all, I am just getting into this program. I've got a human character I want to animate. I have the layers (arms,legs,head) all parented to the body, and I want to do a motion tween. When I hit the motion tween, everything but the body gets HUGE. I importe the chracter, and his layers from photoshop. What am I doing wrong that is causing this?

Hi Everyone, Publising my .fla to an .app (AIR32 embedded to run on MacOS X outside the Mac-App-Store) in Animate 2021.Using a new Apple Development ID .p12 certificate in the Animate Publish settings.Error message when publishing "Could not sign the AIR file. I'm creating an animation that has two layers, on the first layer there is a static drawing of a fence on frame one and on the second layer I have an animated character with multiple keyframes along the timeline. I need to hold the single drawing on the first layer for the duration of the timeline. I don't see a simple way to do this. I tried dragging the keyframe to happen over multiple frames - nope. I tried looking for an interpolation setting - nope. Do I actually have to copy and paste the single drawing for every frame for it to be held? What if I want to change the single drawing, will I have to copy and paste the drawing over again?A bit confused on the workflow here, any advice? Thanks.

hello. I have been at this for 4+ hours and would give up if it wasnt a homework assignment. I create a button symbol and have a hover effect that displays a text box. Where I place the text box becomes a button as well which I dont want. Why is it that I set the text to appear when I hover over the button, but regardless of if i have the button hovered, the text is still there in the background. If I hover over the area where I specified the text to be when the button is hovered, the text appears as if the buttons hovered

Hi all, I would like to ask you if it is possible to test only a part of animation in adobe animate. My animation has about 5 minutes and I want to test my animation for example from 4:00 to 4:30. Is something like this possible? Thanks!

A lot of early Flash was just animations with nothing more complex than stop();. I have lots of aniamtions I would like to reuse by copying and pasting them into an AS3 document for MP4 output.I have the CS6 installer but I am encountering errors trying to install on a Windows 10 PC, and the installer I have for Mac says that the installer does not work with Catalina Has anyone successfully reinstalled Flash CS6 on a PC lately, or have any ideas as to what my installation issues might be, and how to cicumvent them.

I've put 30+ hours into an animation but after restarting Animate due to a possibly related issue, both my main and recovery file have just started opening with the error message:'An error occured while trying to open file "filepath"'I think this may have something to do with it; Earlier in the day my computer gave me a notification saying that it was running out memory (about 3-4 gigs of space left, I know, 'yikes') so I cleared some space up and continued working on the Animate project for another hour or so because seemingly nothing had changed (it was even saving as normal). I'm not an expert at the goings-on of comptuters but I think what's happened is it became corrupt but kept running as normal until I closed it (maybe because it couldn't save properly with the limited amount of memory left) and auto-saved the corrupt file over the recovery file. I tried the whole 'convert it to a .rar file' fix but that didn't seem to work. Am I just doomed?

Hi all,I have searched through many posts trying to find a fix for this, but so far no joy. I'm hoping someone can shed some light on what I'm missing. I've built a table/seating planning app in animate and used createjs for the functionality. It all works fine on Mac and PC, on multiple browsers. The trouble I'm having is the pressmove function that doesn't work on touch devices (tested on an iPhone 7 and iPad Pro). The 'click' 'dblclick' and 'pressup' functions all fire just fine. Hi, so it turns out you can export sprite sheets by making the animation a symbol and then exporting, but what that does is it exports each of the actual drawings, and lines them up. If the frames are even slightly different in size, it puts off the entire sprite sheet and makes it very hard to use later. Basically, the sprite in unity just sorta subtly jitters as a result, it's annoying. I wish I could export the whole scene as a spritesheet, so that the dimentions are uniform accross them all, but i'm pretty sure it's not a feature yet. Hence, I formally ask if that it can be added to adobe animate; for the sake of the world of videogames rests in thy hands. or just tell me i'm an idiot and educate me, i've been stuck here for days. thanks

Hi all,I'm trying to create a jsfl scirpt that changes the element by:1. Rounding the scaleX and scaleY to a number with 2 decimal places (i.e. integer percent)2. Rounding the position x and y to a integer number (i.e. snap to pixel) I've tried round/ceil/floor/toFixed, but everytime I end up with a float number similar to .9978.I'm aware by the JS limitations when working with float numbers, but everything is OK when trying to set up the values manually from the Animate's UI.Does anyone know a proper solution for doing this through script? Thank you very much.

So I'm animating at around 12 frames per second. Which is fine for my actual animation, but when it comes to the cinematography, I have some more smooth pans I want to achieve but it will only do said pans in the same 12 fps as my animation. Is there a way to somehow just have the pans with more fps to make it smoother? can I simply up the fps and it will auto sync my previous animation? or am I kinda screwed and have to manually go through and re-time everything from scratch...I am animating to music so timing is pretty important on this one.

Hell all.I made a project on my Windows PC and everything worked, added Gsap and such, added images and a script. all perfectly well. I need to be mobile so i zipped the project and turned it over to my MacBook.I can access the same files and even edit it, so no problem there.opening the unpublished HTML file runs the animation.. fine.HOWEVER.When i press Command + Enter/Return in Animate itself i get the following in my browser.Error 500: Internal Server Error fopen(/Users/gebruiker/Downloads/HE4/asrocki-banner.html): Operation not permitted The path is correct, the permissions are correct ( basicly i turned it on for everyone for editing etc)even doing so with a terminal command does not resolve the issue.Is there any explaination for this error?And is there a way to fix it?Was thinking of opening a new project and importing/linking this one might resolve the issue but i dont have such an option to basicly get everything from that project and slap it with files and all into a ne

It's way WAY too small, and I can't see the specific details in the window most of the time. I realize there's a detailed description as to what's happening below. However, when I learn new software I focus on the visuals first, then read the description. So I'd rather have a larger window somehow. Thank you!

After being a Flash user for many years I now find, in Animate, the simplest things so complicated. For example this morning I have spent two hours trying to create a spinning newspaper.It used to be a mixture of rotate, scale and keypoints in the tween, a touch of F5 to adjust the timing and... was easy.Now after it hits about 180◦ it just starts bouncing around.I have tried and tried and tried and looked things up on the web. The so-called motion editor is no help.If I had hair I'd be pulling it out.Why does Adobe have to fix Flash things that weren't broken???Does anyone have a clue/advice about rotating a symbol 720 degrees while (scaling down)?
