Adobe Animate version 24.0.8 crashed, and my working file was deleted. I was able to recover the file with a file recovery tool, but the file was corrupted. I tried every possible fix, but nothing worked, and I lost all my work.  What should I do now?

Hi. I hope someone could help me with audio file issue I have at the moment. I make animation in Animate CC (mostly lip-sync) 25fps.When I import my audio file (MP3 44kHz) to  Animate CC - I can see the audio file lenght is 2537 frames. When I import the same audio file to After Effects (25fps) - lenght is 2546 frames. Also - when I import SWF to AE - at one point sync just fails. As I see SWF is correct lenght at 25fps but something with audio file. Can't understand what's going on and I can't find what cause it. Maybe some of you had same issue before?What I'm missing?

I am not able to access the tutorials:The bouncing ball animationCreate a dancing fire animationI looked online at the website to see if I could download it and it is not in the list of animations to download.I have tried uninstalling and re-installing Animation.These 2 tutorials do not work on an iMac or a Windows computer.I have dug through the coachmark files and do not see it, although I do find a few that are loaded onto my computer. I was wondering if there was a way to download them from the website. I understand they do not have high priority when it comes to auto-downloading to the computer through the program for access. The computers are up to date, the program is up to date. I am not sure why they will not work.

I am making a cool flash game and I asked chat gpt how I can import a smart kit that will handle bounding physics colliders stacked for a wallpaper's areas you can't walk in. (see similar Unity screenshot explaining the blocks in white). The player collision system with grass nodes, enemies, and spikes and stuff is all made simple if I had APE. It was lost to time though, their main website is gone and their deposit was also lost to time. Any of you have a similar Flash AS3 physics engine or APE folder itself? Would love you forever if you found it and shared it to me. Will make my life so much easier if I don't have to hand-make collision systems using QuadTree and spatial partitioning and all this trigonometry... when APE would do a 50x better job automatically.Thanks

Hi,I feel lik this worked at one point but now I can't get clean images to save my life. I can easily get clean export from .swf, but I need to get this to .mp4. Something changed. See screenshots attached. the clean one is the .swf preview and the blotchy one is a resulting mp4 if I export to video. I'm using Quicktime as the codec, and default for the highest resolution output. Looks terrible and it was not always this way. Any workarounds or advice would be greatly appreciated.

so, i just installed animate cc an everything's been fine until i noticed... there's no autosave option. i didn't found one in the program, i haven't found anything about it on the internet too. I KNOW there's autorecovery, BUT I DON'T NEED IT. i don't need another file somewhere in the depths of my computer, wich i cannot be sure is there at all, i need all the changes in the file to be saved IN the file. i cannot save project every 5 minutes on my own. be glad if you'll try to help

Hi, I'm looking to export a tweened graphic symbol animation as a .xml, .json or other code file so that I can automate recreating the same animation in my video game that I'm making with C code.To do that, I need the following symbol properties for each keyframe to exported in the order they exist on Adobe Animate's timeline:X and Y positionWidth and HeightRotationScaleDuration of tween or number of frames between keyframesGraphic Symbol Current Frame and Graphic Symbol Looping Setting (eg. Single frame, loop, play once)Opacity/Alpha (optional)  I'm aware you can export a texture atlas from a graphic symbol which includes a json file, but are there other ways to get each keyframes' properties such as extracting them from a .swf or even the .fla project file prehaps?Thank you for any assistance!

I created an HTML5 ad in Adobe Animate. I added a video with the video component. I changed the source of the video in the code to an external link. There's a text layer above the video layer that's animated. When I publish the project and view the HTML file, the video shows, but not the text. I think the video has a higher z-index, but I can't see that in the JS code.  I tried to put the text in the DOM overlay container, but when I do that only the text shows and everything else disappears. I found a piece of code that can get the length of the current audio, but it is calculated by specifying the audio bit rate. However, the bit rate is not always a fixed value, so it is necessary to automatically obtain the duration information and output it according to different audios.For example, a piece of audio is 5 seconds long and the frame rate is 25. This piece of audio only occupies 120 frames on the timeline. Hello. The asset warp feature has quite a lot of potential. However I experience a lot of crashes when dealing with warping bitmaps. I have imported a photoshop file as animate layers. When I apply asset warp to them Adobe animate crashes a lot. When I use the envelope option I have had situations when the envelope endpoints will move on their own while using the program, forcing me to have to redo a lot of work over and over. I'm not sure but if the file has different types of bones (soft bones, flexi bones, hard bones) in the same file, even on completely different meshes, it appears to exacerbate the issue.  I was hoping that if a graphic symbol had several frames of different poses of a warped bitmap mesh, that when I keyframed the symbol in the main timeline and later exposed the mesh on the main timeline by breaking the symbols key frames in the main timeline, that I would be able to motion tween between the poses. I have this issue where my tablet will cause what's happening in the video. The time it does draw something, as can be seen in the video, is when I'm left clicking with my mouse instead, but everything else is me using the pen. Does anyone have an idea why it's happening and and how to fix it?

I recently got a Huion 13 gen 3, and when i set any of the buttons to right click, it will not work correctly on only adobe animate.It works fine alright the canvas, but when i tried to use it on any ui elements such as the timeline or toolbar, the right click menu will flash, and then quickly dissapear. ive tried numerous setting combinations of both windows ink, tablet drivers, and adobe animate settings, and nothing seems to change it. It works fine in older versions (i checked flash 8, everything is fine there). Its just the newer version that does not work.

I created an animation in Animate CC, and the preview looks perfect with all frames intact. However, when I export the animation using the Generate Texture Atlas option, some components' sizes change. Consequently, the exported texture atlas fails to render the animation correctly and does not align with the intended design.

I am escalating this, as it is a critical issue for me.Operating: Win 11Purchase: April 2025 I can't open older files (22-23) in adobe animate 2024. Accessing these were part of my purchase decisions. What options do I have? I've tried all top level solutions - preferences, rename, restart. I'm using Animate v 24.0.8 and running a 128 GB Mac Studio with an M2 Ultra chip. I'm interfacing using a Wacom Cintiq 22HD. After updating the OS to Sequuoia 15.3.2, Animate started exhibiting several bugs that are a huge interruption to a fast and smooth working experience... Fluid Brush fill error: While using the Fluid Brush, occasionally creating a loop or closed line will cause the closed area to be filled. The frequency fluxuates, but seems to hover around every 10th looping line will trigger this error. Cintiq ExpressKeys move Animate's stage: Using the keyboard shortcut F6 to Insert Keyframe and F8 to Convert to Symbol work completely normally. However, using F6 or F8 via the Cintiq ExpressKeys cause Animate's stage to suddenly pan downward. The suddenly jump in stage position happens with every ExpressKey press, causing the stage to jump every time the ExpressKey is pressed. Until the bugs are fixed, I've downgraded to Animate 2023. When I do an action such as creating a tween or adding a keyframe, my timeline shoots to the bottom for some reason.     ALSO, sometimesI click anything, the screen gets a little white and all i see is one timeline. Is that because I am right clicking unconsciously?      If you have an answer do know that i sdont convert my assets to symblo and I just take the.svgs out of the libraray and use them. Everytime I go to open adobe animate it doesnt open and instanlty stops responding. Ive deleted and reinstalled, aswell as updated my mac and nothing seems to be work 😉
