Hi,I want to make a html canvas. Ok, in animate it's all right and I can test the project from animate to the browser.But, after the export it (html-file) doesn't run in the browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox), if I copy it in the browser, as in this example: Adobe Animate CC: Add to HTML web page (Updated Version) - YouTube It also doesn't run if I put it in a subdirectory on my website and try a link. But why?

Is thee a way to create an html email from AS3 for an AIR SDK application? I would like to generate an advertising like email from code using a mailto or like.

I've been working with Adobe Animate for several years and even teach courses in the software- I've never had a problem like this happen before.  A couple of months ago in my Animation Basics calss, a student told me her file had disappeared. There are all kinds of ways people can misplace files, however this one had literally disappeared. I opened Animate and attempted to access the .fla through the "Open Recent" queue and when I selected the file- I recieved an error saying that the file no longer existed (no error code, just the error), and it removed itself from the queue.  Note that this file was created locally on a recently updated, fairly new mac desktop computer. Students are working locally on their files, they don't bring in USBs. The computers are shut down every day, however none of them are set to wipe themselves. hello, im creating a sample website in animate. i have 3 layers with action layer excluded(no problem on this part)the three layers i have are background, buttons, contenti have 1 image in background layer. if i put the image on the content layer that i use in the background layer, the webpage runs correct.but if i put a dif. image or more image on the content layer, the webpage is showing a blank page.HTML 5 by the way ..thankyou, hope someone could help me with this

how to convert animate dashed strokes to actual paths.

Hello,I am trying to stop my audio from playing when I change a scene. My audio files are imported MP3 files into my library. I will admit that I am pretty lost on how to make them stop. I've tried changing it to a stream and that doesn't really work. Every post I have found about this kind of goes over my head or they don't post the code so I can't apply it to my own code. I don't how how to make a sound channel or how to edit the sound channel instance. Also, I know how crappy scenes are, you don't have to tell me.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks in advance!

I have an app that uses sharedobject, but now when the popup appears to give permission, users can't press any button. Is there a way to solve it? 

I'm building a HTML5 canvas using Animate.I have an artist standing at an easel with a paint palette in one hand. In the other hand, they have a brush painting on a canvas. I need to animate his arm, hand and brush painting on the canvas.I'm looking for any help/advice on how to achieve this animation.Many thanks in advance.

Hello,              For the past couple of days if I am working for more than 2 hrs and thirty minutes the stage, color panel, menu bar and pop up windows turn a solid black color. I am then forced to shut the program and restart. I have no idea what to do. Please help!Thank you,Justin Miller

How do I change the text where it says "deepbreath" with the little red thing?

Everytime I try to draw something with my brush tool on Animate it would always keep drawing the line, even when I wouldn't want it to do that, whenever I draw ANYTHING the brush keeps drawing even when I want it to stop, it looks all inky and weird whenever it does this, it's incredibly annoying and I need for it to stop. Any ideas?

I've been working on an animation that uses no interactive components, but recently I came across a frustrating issue where I would receive pairs of errors involving the MainTimeline when rendering videos. The videos would finish compiling, but they were guaranteed to be completely screwed up and not match the editor at all. Given that it says it's an issue with the Timeline, I checked through it to see where the problem was, but couldn't find any solutions there.Right-clicking on the errors gives the option to "Go To Source" to debug it, however clicking it does nothing. This may very well be an issue stemming from me having to use different versions of Animate across my main PC (using the latest Adobe Animate 2022) and two school computers (that are stranded on Adobe Animate 2020, presumably due to IT standards.) Any solutions would be great. Why am I getting this error message when I try to test a clients swf file from a fla file....Error creating SWF movie file    Be sure the destination file is not locked or on a locked driveHow do I fix it?  I've gotten this before and dont remember what causes it.Barb

New to animate and I'm not sure if this is a setting or not. When I am using the brush tool to draw and hit "E" to erase on my wacom screen it shows a brush line where the erase will happen and then when I lift the wacom pen the brush line THEN erases. I'd like it to just erase and show me what it's erasing as it's being erased. Is there a setting for this? Thank you.

When I drill down into a symbol that is comprised of a group, the timeline is grayed out. I can't see any of the keyframes. If I double click on the wheel image, then the timeline for the wheel displays. All the other elements are drawing objects and their timelines don't display. Can anyone help me understand why this is occuring and how I can view the keyframes for each of the drawing objects that have been grouped? 

Hi, I'm looking for some samples, tutorials that will show me how to accomplish my goal. I have an Adobe illustrator vector image of a tree. I would like to do an animatation in Adobe Animate with this tree with nothing of path that will make the tree grow and then have like 20 leaves grow from buds to leaves. I have hope there is some video tutorial that will teach me how to do this. Thanks in Advance

I am working with an animate file made by someone much more experienced than me. How can I copy the segment tagged "talkCycle", create a new segment tagged "walk", and then adjust the positions of the layers to create a new animation segment in this format. 

So i am using flash cs3 and i have an fla file that wont export for some reason even though the animation is only 670 frames long and there isnt anything complex in it , i really need to export this fla to finish a video ive been working on for a few months so please help me

I am working in Adobe Animate. When I was done in Adobe Animate, I exported all my layers, individually, from Adobe Animate and imported all of my layers, individually, into Adobe Aftereffects. I want to change the color of some of the strokes in my project. How do I find the specific layers so that I can change these strokes.

This only started happening, when I load an image, it loads on the timeline but not on the canvas? I have tried re-installing the program with no success? The image below explains what I mean. The blue box on the canvas is where the Image is meant to be shown,

I'm hoping someone else has experienced this and knows how to fix it:I'm using the latest version of Animate on Windows 10I create an HTML Canvas document with a dynamic text field.I click the globe icon next to the Font Family name to Add Web Fonts and select Google FontsThe interface opens, but, depending on the sort type that I choose, either a small subset of the fonts are listed or none at all.When I choose Sort by Alphabet, for instance, only the fonts starting with the letter 'A' all the way to 'Bevan' are listed. No more:Other sort types result in 0 fonts displayed. Sometimes I'll see a few fonts displayed, but usually only around 20 or so. I've had a live support session that resulted in no solution. I noticed they cleared some files (the 'gfonts' folder under the AppData folder).  There's a cache folder there that lists 236 fonts (more than what is displayed in the interface, but still way less than the full Google Fonts list). After creating a perfect vector illustration in Illustrator (no background and all outlines) is placed in Animate's library (imported) and in a layer of the timeline. The illustration in Animate stage looks exactly like the one created in illustrator.After expoting the project for video (mp4 at format H.264 Default (AME)) the video file shows the vector with deffects and poor quality. Neither the illustrator file of the animate file show this, only the final output in mp4. I tried to modify all the variables for importing the illustrator and exporting the video as well, with absolute no change on the final result.Any ideas? it's very frustrtaing considring the HD requirements of the project.Size of the stage is 1280 x 720 px.
